This review is on behalf of my parents' experience with Majic Windows. I have heard enough about this company to know that I would never recommend them: This is a review to warn other people considering this company of the awful customer service that awaits. Bottom line is that our windows were supposed to be installed September 29th, and after numerous calls, voicemails, and time wasted waiting around, we still don't have our windows nor do we have an estimate of when we can expect to get them. At the end May, we put down a down payment of $2,000 for a new set of windows and were told that there would be around a 5 month wait for the installation. We were fine with that. We had decided to go with this company because of its reputation for a good quality product, but we were never warned that once they receive your money, they no longer care about the quality of the service they are giving you. In August, we finally received a final date for our installation, which was initially scheduled for September 29th between 8:00am-12:00pm. When September 29th came around, they called on the day of the installation and left a voicemail that they were no longer coming. Our house had been prepped for the installation of the giant deck window, and as soon as we found out that they would not be coming, we tried to contact the company. We called the office and any number available in order to speak to someone about why they were no longer coming on the scheduled date and to try and find the next available timeslot when they would be available. We were annoyed at this, but we tried to remain understanding of the fact that things come up. We left multiple voicemails with the company on Saturday as well as Monday morning, and we did not hear back from anyone until the afternoon on Monday when someone named Katie (not sure if the spelling is correct) finally called us back. Forewarning to anyone who has to deal with her, Katie was extremely rude on the phone. She never apologized for the missed installation, she never acknowledged our 4-5 voicemails, and all she said was that our installation would need to be rescheduled but that she had no way to accommodate us because they were busy with "other customers." She very curtly and matter-of-factly told us that the next available date is October 27th, between 8:00am-12:00pm, and didn't even care whether this date would work for us. When we asked to speak to a manager, she said she performs "nearly all of the functions" and would not forward us to a manager. Wanting to just get the installation over with we agreed to the October 27th date. On October 26th, the day before the rescheduled October 27th installation, we called their office in order to confirm that the installation would be happening. They confirmed that it was and that the installer would be at our house between 8:00am-12:00pm. We once again prepared the house and cleared our schedules in order to ensure that there were no delays on our end. Lo and behold, it was 11:00am on October 27th when we started to get concerned about whether our installation was going to happen, because we had zero communications with anyone at that point - not the contractor nor the general office. Apparently, there is no one at this company to talk to once they have your money and no one to get ahold of on the day of you installation if you, like us, are having any types of issues. The only person we were able to finally contact was the representative I initially spoke with when we signed the contract back in May, who said he was able to talk to Katie (who mind you, did not call us back despite multiple voicemails again) who apparently said that she saw the installer load the truck with our materials to head our way that morning. It wasn't until 3:00pm when we finally got a text that MAYBE an installer would come that evening. At 4:20pm, the installer called from his cellphone, he apologized for the delays, and said he MAYBE will come within an hour to install our windows and will install them for us if we don't have a problem with them being installed in the evening. As of right now, we still don't have our windows installed. We are our $2,000 for the down payment we made, and we have absolutely zero clue when the installation will finally happen. We are supposedly getting a call from the general manager on Monday (hopefully not Katie), but we're not very hopeful about whether this will finally get us our windows. We write this review because we think people should be aware of the issues with this company. They took our money for the down payment and have done nothing to complete the job as promised, they are essentially committing fraud at this point. There is absolutely NO customer service from this company. When buying something worth thousands of dollars, you would at least expect the company to be concerned with the service they are giving. Take your money elsewhere and save yourself a headache. read more

I have read some not so good things about this company and I was kind of alarmed. It wasn't until I decided to give them a chance myself and see how things really were. Let me tell you, this place is top notch. They have some of the nicest people at any company that I have dealt with in a long time. Everything they told me would happen, did! I am a happy customer and I will continue to be a returning one. Of course they will have some bad reviews and that's probably because they are a very large company who does a lot of business and you just can't please everybody. They did some insulation in our attic. Initial work was satisfactory but the plan to come back and cut new vents was never completed, in spite of several complaints. They never hesitated to come knocking on our door for more work, though, until I told them to knock it off. I won't hire this lousy company again under any circumstance. read more

I would give less than one star if I could. They randomly knocked on my door and offered to give me a quote for my front door. They sent a salesman out the next day and he spent 3 hours at my house to quote a door and had to call the manufacturer 6 times to get product information. I ended up agreeing to the door and was told 10 weeks to install. 2 days later, he calls asking form my credit card number even though contract stated same as cash for 6 months from install date. Then he calls back 2 hours later saying he was sorry but he did not include the door frame with my door so price would have to go up by $1,100. Their contract clearly states frame to be replaced and even specifies a the woodgrain and color. Addendum: I had called 3 times asking for a manager and a guy just called back saying he was a "sales trainer" and basically said that the contract that they use allows for 3 days to change your mind and that the 3 days applies to them as a company as well. He stated that they were choosing not to honor their contractual commitment based on the 3 day clause. He also stated that their low ratings were because they don't "pay someone" to clean up their reviews. My advice, avoid them as they only care about the sale. Terrible sales strategy in my opinion. First of all, they took so much time out of my day. The guy was nice enough but I honestly feel sorry for him that that's how he has to make his money. Giving me a 20,000 dollar quote for my 1080 sq ft ranch roof (granted we have a large garage), then pressuring us to sign up immediately in that moment ?! Are you kidding me. If anyone had time to think for 5 seconds they would know how badly they are being ripped off. They first try to sit and justify how much better their products are and how they withstand crazy winds and blah blah blah. Last time I checked, I don't live in the Taj Mahal. I don't think a roof is worth 1/5 the price of my entire house. We kept saying no and he wouldn't take that and realize it was time to leave... so he finally lowered and lowered until he gave us 11,900. I'm sorry but I would rather work with ANYONE decently honest than someone who comes in with that approach. I don't care if you tell me it's 5,000. Speaking of 5,000-- I asked my mom the price she paid 6 months ago with very similar house and sq footage but with a normal 2 car garage. Total tear down and everything ! 5,000. LOL Good luck, Majic. I think it's time to head back to the books for sales strategies that build a loyal customer base, because this is NOT IT. Majic Window has the absolute worst customer service. First of all Tom called to confirm my appointment but didn't even identify himself or the company. (I had to call back and get his voicemail after he hung up on me in order to get his name) he just asked for my last name when he called. I'm thinking Umm sir you solicited me, I'm not just going to give you my last name when I don't even know what this is about or who you are. I didn't even know this was for a confirmation and when I asked him what it was in regards to he acted incredibly annoyed and said he called hundreds of people already and doesn't know what he was calling me for. Well maybe letting me know he was from Majic Windows would have been helpful. He said someone was on their way for a quote and asked if the Mr. was with me. I told him no, because I'm the home owner and I make the decisions and purchases myself. Last I checked I don't have to be married to own a home and take care of myself. He proceeded to tell me that because there was no Mr. there he couldn't and wouldn't be sending anyone out for a quote. Now this is the second home I've owned that this same circumstance happened with them so I'm not happy to say the least. I told him to take me off their list for good and to never contact me about services again. In his cocky and condescending tone he proceeded to repeat back what I said "don't EVER call again, with a capitol E" all while his co-workers are in the background laughing. I asked for his name to identity him and he hung up on me. I called back and got his voicemail, which said his name was Tom. I called back again and he answered, I asked for a corporate number, he said he was corporate, I asked for his managers name And number and he laughed along with his co-workers saying he was a manager. I insisted on getting his ID and his managers name and he refused all info, mumbled something to his coworkers in the background, they all started laughing and hung up again. I would definitely NOT recommend Majic to anyone!!! Over-priced, mediocre quality and poor customer service. Their Executive VP/Salesman Larry, should not be taken seriously, as he will say whatever you want to hear without regard for the truth. After 7 months and well over $20,000 later we're still waiting for Majic to correct all the problems with the original order and installation. Hopefully, Mort Crim will reconsider his paid endorsements - obviously, he has never dealt with Majic as a customer! If you have already ordered Majic Windows, good luck! But if there is any problem with the installation DON'T pay them until it is corrected! I love our new full size window in front of our house and our new door wall that were installed. However, I've called and left messages to have my screen door to my door wall looked at because it doesn't lock and our cat can open the screen and get out. I'm not happy with the servicing right now. The window looks nice and the door wall is a little harder to pull open, more than what I thought. At the Novi Home show, we saw many brands of door walls that opened with 2 fingers. That's not going to happen with this door wall. I will have to see how this door wall and window do through the winter to see if we really like the quality of the product. The installation crew were very prompted and very clean. read more

I have had three separate experiences with Majic and yet to have a positive one. #1 - I called to get a quote for my windows and the salesman showed up to give me my quote. He spent more time talking about how awful everyone else's windows were instead of selling his own. I did not buy, I went to Andersen windows with a lifetime warranty which they have honored to date. #2 and #3 - a quote for my exterior door. My first attempt resulted in me having to cancel the estimate due to another conflict. If you want Majic to call you incessantly jus cancel an appointment. Yesterday the poor soul they sent out to knock on doors came by asking if I wanted an estimate. I said, "yes" and went through the setting of time with the whole manager call for confirmation. Then the next day, Majic called to confirm and then just didn't show up. I sat there waiting - nothing. So basically, just don't bother. Too frustrating to simply get the estimate. read more

This company is a joke! We just had Majic install an 8' sliding door yesterday, This started with a crappy extremely hard pressure sell technique that ended up at more than 50% of the starting price (what a shameful scam and ripoff). After giving them a $1000 deposit that day back in JULY we ended up waiting over 4 months to finally have them show up to install our door when the temperature was now 28F outside. They originally scheduled the installation from 8-noon then called the day before to change it from 1-3pm. At 2:50pm on the installation day we got a call asking if they could come the next day instead. My wife had taken the whole day off of work for this so she told them that wouldn't work. Twenty five minutes later the installer showed up (the installer himself was very polite and worked his butt off since he was alone). I don't know why they even bother to measure the opening at all because the door was over 2" too wide for the opening in our BRICK home. The installer spent 6.5 hours at our house, most of the time spent trying to cut and grind the frame down and remove all of the bracing and insulation so it would finally fit in the opening. We spent hours in the below freezing cold with an 8' hole in our living room. Once the door was finally in place a few more issues were noticed...the screen was damaged as well as the outside end cover for the stationary panel was cracked. Those parts left with the installer to be "reordered". Also the kick lock on the bottom doesn't release without pulling it up by hand. This has been a terrible experience so far. We didn't get a call back from Majic this morning until my wife left a third message telling them we put a stop-payment on our check. We were told it would be a few weeks to get the parts ordered. These parts all come from a third party manufacturer in Canada so who knows how long it will actually take to get the parts. They only make their doors in pre-set sizes so why the heck wouldn't a company as big as Majic have the basic spare parts in stock here locally? That's just another example of the horrible customer service from Majic Window. We've decided not to pay them the balance owed until they get the job completed correctly. read more

I felt like their business is sexist. Had an appointment set to get an estimate and since my husband wasn't home the salesman stated the have a lot of estimates to do so we can reschedule when my spouse will be home. I suggested that he just do the measurements and we get the process started and I informed him that the decision is my own. It's MY house, I deal with all of the upgrades, not my husband. I am a working woman, I don't sit under my husband paychecks. Husband present or not, a decision wouldn't have been made on the spot. So I just want to say that it was really insulting and you all really need to respect the different dynamics of the customers you get and when you go to someone's house and they tell you that you can start the estimate, respect their wishes and do what you came to do. Instead you insult my intelligence or ability to make decisions and postpone. Now you end up with a bad review and 1 less customer who will continue to spread the word to all of the perfectly us perfectly capable women who can make decisions. read more

Very hard sell... HAVE to have BOTH home owners home and in room to give estimate. Was told they don't have time to come out again. I was told at a home show that they would come out with a now hassle price that was good for a year. Salesman demanded wife present even thogh she told him she had NO interest. Gave 'special Incentive' price to buy NOW. when i said I wanted to shop, he became angry and upset. Gave me another lower price since he was 'senior sales manager' just before leaving. Again i said I needed to wait. He packed up angrily started leaving without leaving ANY price estimate. When I asked for the price goog for a year he wrote a much higher price on back of his card. There are better windows out there at as good or better price as his best price..... don't bother... Just read all the bad reviews.. read more

Excellent experience with Majic. Ive been dealing with them for 12 years and never had an issue. From the managers to the salesman and installers, all have been very friendly and professional. I canceled my siding estimate when the sales rep was adamant that "both" my wife and I be present for our two hour estimate....two hours???? It doesn't take two hours to give a siding estimate. The sales rep stressed many times that she be present. That high pressure sale technique isn't fooling anyone. Sounds like I'm not missing much. read more

This company is a joke. They came out and we bought their windows. It took MONTHS AND MONTHS for them to get them. Meanwhile my loan expired and I had to apply again. Installation was finally scheduled for a Monday. they called late Friday afternoon to tell me the loan had expired because it had been more than 4 months. So, my credit score takes another hit because of their lack of taking care of business. Here it is Monday morning and they called to reschedule. I missed the call and now I have been trying to talk with a human for 50 minutes and all you can get is voice mail no matter where you call. I did get a person to answer pressing 0 once and she was rude and of no help. DO NOT DEAL WITH MAJIK WINDOWS UNLESS YOU JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN WITH A SALESPERSON. THEY WILL NOT ANSWER THE PHONE!!! Prices were really expensive, and the salesman was pretty pushy. He did not clarify our rights for backing out of the contract, however I was able to find the terms and conditions on my own within the window of cancellation. Customer service definitely gave us a run around, but fortunately they fairly resolved the conflict within the appropriate timeframe. Worst sales experience ever. If you like high pressure, disrespectful and rude behavior, go ahead and invite them into your home. I have just remodeled my kitchen, so for the last several months we have had sales people in for counters, cabinets, flooring, etc. Not one of them came even close to acting like MAJIC did. I am in commission sales and if I acted like the guy who came into my home, I would be fired! He was nice enough, at first, and I liked the product. His first quote was ridiculous. After a few back and forth, he got close to where we needed to be. My wife and I wanted the weekend to discuss how we would pay for it and when we told him that, He said, " well, you called us. Whatever" then he got up and just left. No further conversation like: well, I understand; big decision; I look forward to you call on Monday; I'll check back with you after you had a couple of days to talk about it. Nothing like that, just got up and out the door he went. I will NEVER do business with company that allows it's employees to treat people like that in their own homes. Like others here, he spent most of the time talking about how good they were and how bad the competition was. It's too bad because, I would have called them today to place the order. I did like the product and we were close on price. Not happening now. I don't care now if I do pay more. No one who I invite into my home to sell me their product is going too disrespect my wife or myself like that. read more

Majic Window (Inlinefiberglass.com Toronto MFG) replaced our windows in April of 2019. The day they were installed, the crew not even off our street and the windows began falling apart. Trim pieces falling off as I opened them. I called immediately and was told by Matt it would be 2 to 4 weeks before a "repair" person could come out to make the repairs., This saga has been ongoing since that day in April, 2019. Now, a new person (Faith) called us on June 13th. 2022 saying new people had been hired and the company was going to make everything right again and our new parts would be in on Monday, June 20th. 2022 and she would call on Tuesday, June 21st 2022 to set an appointment up to make all the repairs. Oh, by the way. Majic installed 12 windows, 9 of them are defective. Any way, it seems that the "new, improved" employees are just recycling the same empty/false deceptive promises. This whole time Majic reps. have been blaming Inline and Inline is blaming Majic. I've even called Mort Crim Interprise and told them this story. They told me they no longer represent Maji, but I still see his pitch on T.V. I guess the only thing the consumer has left is legal action. Too bad there isn't a spot for NO Star rating! read more

I will never do business with Majic Windows. They have totally turned me off to their services. They want to do a hard sell "free cost estimate" and I just won't be subjected to these kinds of sales pitches. I have asked them repeatedly not to call me (to "lose my phone number") and yet they call me on nearly a monthly basis. I wish they could get it through their heads that some of us do not appreciate the hard sell. If you want to give me a cost estimate, then do so. Otherwise, leave me alone!!! read more

Horrible service. My windows have fallen apart and fell out. The nightmare has been since day 1. Lifetime absolutely not.

We had windows installed in the Fall/2017 and the doorwall sprung a leak with the recent ice melt situation in Michigan. Called for an appointment since the windows are under warranty (less than a year old) and waited two weeks for an appointment. The day of the appointment, I was told the service tech would call ahead and give us a two-hour window. Day came, no call no show. It's a Saturday so we can't get in touch with anyone over the weekend. That was 9 days ago and we were forced to leave ANOTHER voicemail because nobody answers the phone during the day. We still have yet to receive a call back. Majic Windows, so far I'm unimpressed with your lack of responsiveness, sense or urgency, and overall shoddy treatment of your customers. We spent $10,000.00 on windows, so I expect better treatment than this, not that the dollar figure should matter! read more

OMG! So we got a new front door from majic windows. This has been a horrific ordeal. Although the door is beautiful the level of customer service and communication is AWFUL!!! Been one thing after another of run around. The last straw was today. Door was installed 2 and a half weeks ago and they forgot the kick plate. We have had to hound them. Got a window for installing said kick plate form 8am to noon today. Well its 12:30 and Joe blow the installer has still yet to show his face. Had to call and leave a message cause they NEVER answer the phone. She called back and said hes running late. Yea, I kind of got that since he isn't here. So here I am wasting another hour. Cause my time doesnt matter. Plus she got snippy with me. I will never ever refer them. Customer service SUCKS. read more

DO NOT CALL THEM! A three hour nightmare. The salesman went everywhere but, the price. After three hours he finally gives us the price. We tell him it's too much. Somehow, he said a lot, threw some coupons around went from $67,000 to $22,000. So if we agreed to the $67,000 to begin with we would be ripped off. He pushed for us to sign a contract and give him a check for $10,000 we kept telling him we do not make a decision the same day. He became angry and accused us of having other companies coming out. Telling us he wasted three hours that he wasn't paid for. He told us we are not going to call him back - gee, I wonder why? It became very uncomfortable, I was concerned how far this would go. He gave us his card and wrote $48,000 said that would be the price if we call him back????? Truth, we would have went with them but, not after that. read more

This is posted on the Majic Windows website: "At Majic, your satisfaction is our #1 priority! All Majic products come with a lifetime warranty. If you are not 100% satisfied, please contact Majic today. We'll do everything in our power to make sure you are happy!" I have seen no evidence of this pledge to date. Majic Window did a wonderful job blowing insulation into my attic so I thought I would have them replace my exterior doors. It is like two totally different companies! I won't go into all the details here, but the fact that I signed the contract on 11/28/2016 and still do not have my doors installed (was told it would take 6-8 weeks) as of 6/14/17 tells it all. They do not return my phone calls or respond to my emails. I even submitted a review on their website and have not heard a peep from them. Customer service is rude! They didn't even apply for the building permit until 4/3/2017! I could go on and on. Shop around! read more

By far the worst home improvement experience I could have ever imagined. If you are looking for windows, please do yourself a favor and listen to this review. This is not an isolated incident, which makes it all the more insane that this company is still in business. I wish I would have listened to the warnings I read online before I signed on the dotted line. Because once I signed, I was stuck. The experience that followed has been astonishingly incompetent. First I will start with the sales. I showed up at my house after work to find an Escalade parked in my driveway; license plate reads "ISOLDIT". That should have been my first sign to just walk away. Regrettably, I allowed him to pitch to my wife and I. Price started at over 50K for a house of windows. We kept saying no, until the price was reduced all the way down to around 20 grand. How you can reduce the price by over half in the matter of 20 minutes is a mystery to me. Salesman was very high pressure, basically wouldn't leave until we signed. We recorded the whole conversation, where he promised that the windows would never fail, that if we had problems, he would be there for the whole process for the life of our windows, how that he had been with Majic since day 1 and that if the owner were to step down, he would be taking his place. Wow what a joke. Long and short we signed, had him throw in the gold package service agreement, which basically says if your windows fail, you don't have to pay for the workers to come back and fix them. (Which in my opinion should be the standard when you are selling windows that have a lifetime guarantee) We were supposed to have 0 down financing for the first 2 years, then a low rate that was negotiated. We have had to contact their finance department at least 8 times because they continue to screw up the agreed upon financing terms. At first they were trying to use our payment to pay only the interest, even though it was 0% financing for the first two years. Now they are sending us checks in the mail every month to repay us the interest payments that we have already paid. I still have zero confidence in their finance department and doubt that this is the last we will hear about these issues. And remember that salesman that said he was going to be with us the whole time? That same guy won't take our calls, won't return calls, has been completely unhelpful with all of the issues referenced throughout. We have reached out to his manager and the manger after that; no one is helpful. They are incredibly rude and self-righteous, like their company being terrible is our fault. Onto the install. Had a crew at the house all day, they were nice enough and it SEEMED like everything was going well. At the end, we asked the installer how it all went, he said "smooth install", although one window was broken on install. Keep in mind this was in March 2019. So now they have to schedule another day to come back and fix the broken window. It is now December 2019 and I still do not have the window fixed. After the installers left, my wife and I did our own inspection as we were cleaning our brand new windows (they put stickers on every window that you have to peel off and then clean the residue off). That is when we noticed the gouges in the walls, the ripped weather-stripping on the windows, the knife cuts in the window sill (inside the house), the missing caulk, etc. So they send out another guy to check out all the damage and write up a follow up report. This guy was actually honest. He said that the job the previous crew did was totally unacceptable, and that he would personally be back out next time with his own crew to correct all of the problems, and reinstall the broken window, once it was in from the factory. Reinstall date came, they showed up 2 hours late, and they showed up without the window and the wrong weather-stripping. They said it would be months before they could come back. We waited. The 3rd reinstall day arrived. Guy shows up with the wrong weather stripping AGAIN. Seriously, this company exists. But at least he has the replacement window this time right? As he is removing the glass from the broken frame, he cracks the glass. So now the window frame that was broken on install, now has the glass broken on it as well. I asked how long it will be now, to which they respond, TBD. Keep in mind I have had to take off work every single time this garbage company has had to reschedule their unsuccessful jobs. We are going on one year and they still haven't completed the job. I will provide another unfortunate update when/if this project ever gets completed. There are so many other things, that I failed to include here, but bottom line is this. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING. YOU WILL REGRET IT. DO NOT THINK IT WON'T HAPPEN TO YOU. MAJIC IS NOT A TRUSTWORTHY COMPANY. THEIR MANAGEMENT IS COMPLETELY INEPT AND REFUSES TO OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. read more

Majic installed soffits and gutters and trim on our home a few years ago. Job went well and everything seemed nice until some paint peeled off some of the trim in front of the house. Had one heck of a time ever getting them to even come out. When they finally did get back to me they said that the work was past warranty and, anyway, they were not using that particular brand anymore. They did say that they would have a man come out and take a look at it and maybe do it on the side. He did come out and said he would get back to me. He never did and they never have!!! I have been calling them to please send someone and I would pay for it. I have been calling over and over for the past three years and all my calls have been ignored. They haven't a clue about customer service once they have your money and are gone. I had to have the gutters that they put on replaced in the interim. I ordered my windows and door in September of 2019. Finally got the windows installed in mid December but the door never came in as promised. They put my financing through anyway, even though the job was not complete, bill included the door and installation. January 23, I am still waiting, was told they have the door but do not have a installation date. Cant get any cooperation from anyone there. I ordered windows in the Fall of 2018. The window measurer would call and I would call back (since I am working and can not answer my phone in court) but he would never answer. They had run my credit at the time of purchase but since the measurer had not gotten the correct specs, they did not start my order and my time frame for the loan expired! So, a hard hit on my credit. The company does not have a tickler list. I had to have another credit check (so another hit to my credit) and the salesman did give me $200 off the $10,200 purchase of five windows and a doorwall. Finally, after the salesman hooked up the measurer to get the specs, the windows were ordered and installed in summer of 2019 (around July). I did have some trouble opening the windows and a serviceman came out to check them. One needed replaced because it was not fitting correctly and the installers put on the top and bottom of each window quarter round trim which looks absolutely ridiculous since some of the quarter round is bigger than the sill. I have had three appointments for a serviceman to come and correct the problem and three times they have canceled. One was because of weather. From ordering windows to completion should not take over a year! There are no checks and balances with this company. I am a single woman and I definitely feel I am being thrown to the bottom of the list until I give up so they don't have to service my problem. If you are only ordering a few windows or do not live in the Wixom area, I would look elsewhere! No one from the company has called to make this awful situation any better. UPDATE: Majic called us today and worked with us to move our installation up 10 days. We're just hoping we don't get another cancellation call on Monday. To be fair, the sales guy (who has been the only decent contact thus far) did give us a small discount for our troubles (about 2%). Its not a whole lot - especially when you consider the trouble/run-around we've been getting for over 4 months now - but we do appreciate the gesture and small savings. At least it appears they are now working to resolve issues. I will continue to update as appropriate. read more

the windows are nice ,but the service department is BAD Mat who works in the service department is so rude, we have been trying to get are window fixed since April. every time we had a date to get it fixed we would get a call on the day they were schedule to come out Matt would call with some excuse that he screwed up and we would have to wait until next month. Then we get another call same day they were schedule to come out with another excuse. He would not let me talk the last time he cancel the job and he told me they would not fix or window. I called today to request an estimate for attic insulation. I was asked by the receptionist if I am married (no one's business). She then said that I need to schedule a time when WE ARE BOTH home for the estimate, so that "everyone understands." She repeated herself when I said that only I would be the one here, insisting that this is the way they like to do things. I cancelled my estimate - something tells me that if a man was calling to request an estimate they wouldn't tell him they need to do it only when his wife is home. read more

Signed a contract 8/14/2020 for carpet/installation. Deposit of $921. Was told by our salesman, ZACH GLOD, that we would have it before Thanksgiving. Now 3 months later...NO CARPET. They were very quick to accept the deposit and charged it to our card same day. We contacted Majic install department. Manager, Matt(refused to give us last name) was extremely rude and condescending. He basically told us we get it, when we get it. Told us flat out we have no recourse. We called our salesman, ZACH GLOD, and left a message. Here's a surprise. HE NEVER called us back. The manager, MATT, told us don't bother calling him back. HE would call us to set up an install date. Here's the kicker....we have to accept an install date within 21 days of them calling us!!!! OR we have to pay $25 per day for them to hold/store our carpet for us. What if they want to install during Holidays or while we may be on a vacation. NEVER EVER do business with Majic. They are a ripoff. read more

The most horrible customer service I have ever entailed in my life. You will never get a hold of a manager or owner, and do not leave a message for Katie, who is in charge of installations. She is lazy, and actually has a no care attitude. As for installations, you will sign a contract, put a deposit down, and then find out there is only one install crew to handle everything. Perhaps you will have your installation done in less then the 5 months it is taken for us (which we are still waiting. Do not deal with this company, go to Lowes or The Home Depot. At least you will be able to talk to or go into the store for issues. If I could subtract stars I would, but they do not even deserve 1 star. read more

Customer service is a disaster. Had siding and trim work done a few years back and several trim pieces have fallen off. It took me 3 weeks of calling and leaving voicemails before I finally received a call back to set up the appointment. In the meantime, I received one of their quarterly calls asking how the work was holding up, and to phish for more work. After complaining to that person about the lack of response, he gave me a 'direct' number to the siding dept. Called the number he gave but it was not in service. Anyway, after finally setting up the appointment I find out that the warranty only covers materials and labor would cost $75. $75 to put 5 trim pieces up that fell because they didn't secure them well enough the first time. What a joke. Never using them again. read more
