Great location right in the town of Pia'a, simple decor with focus on sandwiches, smoothies, gelato and more. Staff was very friendly and eager to take care of you immediately entering the store. Natalie was very helpful and pleasant and even had a few tips about the Road to Hana. We opted to grab and go our picnic packages and eat them once we arrived at Waianapanapa State Park. The sandwiches were so good, fresh local ingredients prepared with passion, the rolls were fresh and soft. Meats were extremely tasty and plenty of it. The caboose to this flavor train was the house made chocolate chip cookie, soft and decadent with a great way to end our lunch. Great concept and so convenient and reasonably priced. So if you are doing the "Road" stop in and grab the picnic package or if you are visiting Pia'a to do some surfing at Jaws you gotta stop in and get you some of this food. You won't be disappointed. Bravissimo Hana Picnic Lunch Company you guys rock and roll the Road to Hana. Mangiamo!

They even have cooler bags available, and a smart team member had already frozen 2L water bottles to keep everything chilled and give you ice-cold water later in the day. Trust me, nothing tastes better than icy melted water after hiking around waterfalls -- iykyk. The staff here was so warm and welcoming. One helpful worker not only prepped our order but shared her favorite stops and insider tips for the drive. She recommended the Garden of Eden as a must-see -- sadly, we got caught in roadwork traffic and had to skip it, but we'll definitely make it a priority next time. If you're doing the Road to Hana, make this your first stop -- it'll set the tone for a smooth and well-prepped adventure.

The last visit I tried the mango li hi mui. It was delicious, the best part was it was freshly made and they do not use chemicals. The service is quick and efficient as there is only room for a few people at a time. The decor is like the ice cream creative but not overwhelming. It definitely fits the vibe of the neighborhood. I truly enjoy going here and checking out some different flavors as I have not tried all of them yet !

I ordered two scoops so I could at least try a couple of flavors. I did not anticipate the scoops being as large as they are and two is a bit much. Somehow I managed though. All of the flavors are really good, and the texture is very creamy with no evidence of gummy additives. Fear not the salted varieties, they are delicious. The ice cream is reasonably tempered and gets soft enough quickly on a warm day. This really brings flavor to the forefront. I like that the ice cream focus is on flavor and texture and not sugar. One flavor is called " Coffee with Sugar" but even that one is not too sweet.
