A great place to stop along the way to Hana. Lots of yummy treats just when you want to get out and about and stretch your legs.

There aren't many options for food and drink on the road to Hana, but Nahiku Cafe at Nahiku Marketplace is absolutely worth the stop. I imagine parking may be difficult when it's normal tourist levels, but it's worth waiting for. My husband got a coffee which he said was some of the best coffee he's ever tasted. I got a fruit smoothie and some banana bread. The smoothies are pricey but it's easy to see why when they cut up fresh mango, pineapple, and other fruits in front of you and then pop them in the blender. The smoothie was so good my husband said he wished he had gotten his own, and the banana bread was amazingly moist and flavorful I wish it was bigger! Nahiku Cafe also has some cute items in their shop for purchase if you're looking for a memento, but the gallery located in the same complex has many more items to choose from. Definitely a stop to make for a pick me up on your drive!

Was unable to actually visit the store because it was closed when we visited on a Saturday around 3 PM, but a peek inside revealed cute gifts and coffee/snacks. There is a porta-a-potty on-site behind all of the stores. Good pit stop on the road to Hana, but unfortunately a lot of the places in this shopping center area are closed permanently.

It's frustrating when the person in front of you in line is a local and they charge them half the price for the same drink that you ordered. 20 dollars for 2 drinks, bring a cooler with you.

Made a quick stop here hoping to find coconut candy. Sadly no coconut candy, but I found some yummy chocolate chip Mac nut banana bread. They also have cute cut outs that make for a great photo opp for your Hana trip.

I stopped by here this past Saturday with my wife for afternoon coffee. We were on our way back to Kahului after traveling the road to Hana and I wanted an afternoon pick me up. Thankfully the Nihiku Marketplace is in a location that's perfect to get one and so we stopped. The cafe itself is in the stall on the far left whenever you are facing it. Due to Covid, they only allowed a single group in at a time and asked that you sanitized before you came in. After perusing the menu for a bit I ultimately decided on having a 20 oz macadamia nut latte as my coffee. While I was there I also noticed some lilikoi bars (think lemon bars only with lilikoi) and added those to my purchase. The coffee ended up costing 8.20 and the lilikoi bars another $4 or so. It was ready within a few minutes and we were soon on our way. I first tried the lilikoi bars and loved them. They had a nice subtle sharpness to them without being overly sour and the bar itself had a great texture to it. After that I tried the coffee and just thought it was ok. The coffee itself had a decent flavor and although it was promoted as Maui coffee, I couldn't tell the difference. It was really the macadamia nut milk which just made it ok as it had a fake tasting sweetness to it which I wasn't a huge fan of. The bottom line for me is that I might stop by here again in the future. The Nihiku Marketplace is a great place to stop and I would recommend that you stop there, but I probably wouldn't order the macadamia nut latte again.

We were desperate for coffee on our trip, so we stopped. Cute place, but so expensive! And the coffee was well below average. We were so disappointed. The owner/employee was so unfriendly that it was awkward to even be there. Would pass next time.

I came here because someone recommended to try their drinks. There's was no hot coffee so I'd you want coffee and on the way here, youight want to call and check what they ha e so you won't be disappointed. I had their tea which was good.

As Covid has completely uprooted our High school seniors final year, my husband and I sent our daughter with her 3 bestie to Maui for a celebratory trip.

Once you reach this stop on your Road to Hana tour, make sure you get one ($10). The loaf is served warm, and man, it is good. You can't, or aren't supposed to, eat it there since there is a sign saying this place is grab-and-go only, so we ate it in the car on our way to the next stop. Between the two of us, it was basically more than half gone. It is not too sweet (in a good way), airy, light, and just really good homemade banana bread. The cashier was really nice and service was really fast. Since it is on the peninsula, the drive is also beautiful with waves crashing into the rocks.

The portion is big and comes in a cute jar. The açaí was thick and smooth, not overly sweet, and the fruit was fresh. I love Dole Whip, but this place serves their own version called Pineapple Cream, and in my opinion, it's a million times better. They even have a poster in the shop comparing the ingredients, and let's just say they're not shy about pointing out what's in Dole Whip versus their own product. Their Pineapple Cream is made with simple ingredients, and you can absolutely taste the difference. They offer a variety of island inspired flavors, which made it tough to choose because everything sounded delicious. Unfortunately, we didn't discover this place until our last night in Maui. Otherwise, I have no doubt we would have come back multiple times during our trip. If you're a fan of pineapple ice cream, this is a must-visit. Seating was limited outdoors and inside was full. Wish they'd have more outdoor seating.
