Mocha Wao

The drinks here are great! The service is so nice, helpful, and quick. I was surprised because I went knowing this was a food truck but they had a drive through which was super convenient. They also had outdoor seating which would have been great if I wanted to sit.

Mocha Wao and Iced Cold Brew Coffee

Kraken Coffee is a food truck trailor near some other food trucks. It's cute because you can either walk up or drive up! My husband got the cold brew and I got the MochaWao. Both were really good! I like that the MochaWao wasn't too sweet-- I was even able to drink it after the ice melted. The staff were really friendly and service was pretty quick!

MoChaWao and Haleakalatte

Kraken Coffee is located in a back lot of Azeka Shopping Center. To get here, you will need to drive into the plaza and head towards the back. There will be a path on gravel roads to the food truck area with parking. The various food trucks surround the dining area where tables and covers are set up. If you prefer to stay in your car, there is also a drive-thru. The baristas were very nice and courteous. We ordered the MoChaWao (white chocolate macadamia nut latte) and the Haleakalatte (rich caramel latte). Both drinks were very tasty but if we had to choose one to order again, it would definitely be the MoChaWao!

Short stay in Maui, and Kraken coffee was the best I found! I got the white chocolate macadamia nut latte and it was chefs kiss. They are located in a cute little round about of food trucks, and theirs is a drive thru which I love for the convenience. The staff was friendly both times we stopped, and recommended the "most popular" drink.

had a great experience with all the locations of Kraken that I visited during my stay! The staff was very kind and had great suggestions. They have coffee ice (ice made of coffee) which is great, i loved iced coffee but hate when the ice waters it down! I tried the following: Kihei kicker- 7/10- it was creamy but the irish cream they used wasn't the greatest. Haleakalatte- 10/10 -lite ice, less sweet - great flavor profile , nice and creamy. dirty karen chai 5/10- they use a premade chai drink- was not a fan .

Kombucha and Pina Colada Smoothie

Kraken Coffee sits in a charming little food truck hub. It was blazing hot, so my partner and I grabbed a medium piña colada smoothie and a locally sourced strawberry kombucha. The piña colada was a hit -- creamy, cold, and tasty. The strawberry kombucha tasted exactly like you'd hope, bright and strawberry-forward with that pleasant kombucha tang. Refreshing, a little bitter, and it wasn't super burpy like some big-name brands back home, which I appreciated. Prices landed around $12 to $14 for the two drinks, which felt fair for Maui. Overall, a nice cool-down stop and I'd go back. Staff were sweet!

This drive thru makes an amazing peppermint mocha!!!!! Enjoyed it at the beach nearby and I recommend you try them out! Will be back!!!

The friendly cashier recommended the Mocha Wao. I have to say Kraken Coffee drinks definitely tastes like crack. Absolutely delicious and prices are reasonable. I also love the convenience of their drive through.

Lovely spot in Kihei to get a quick caffeine fix. Got a simple iced Americano that was strong and refreshing. Barista was also very lovely and hospitable.

I had to try this coffee since it was highly rated. I will say, it was the best I tried while on the island. It's a stationary mobile cart near several other good trucks. They have one side designated for drive-through and the other side for walk ups. I ended up getting a caramel iced latte large. The drink stayed consistent throughout my sips. This could be due to the iced coffee ice cubes. The service was OK, didn't really stand out. Not much communication so service was just OK.

I got the mochawaow and it was really good. It's supposed to be a white chocolate macadamia nut latte and although I wish it was a bit sweeter overall it was still really good and hit the spot in the morning. Next time I think I'll add an extra pump of white chocolate just to give it a little more kick and then they'll be absolutely perfect. I respect their system where they had one of their teammates, come out and take the order of the people behind the car at the window to speed up throughput.

Macadamia, coconut cold foam cold brew- 100/10. They double cupped my friend's tea which was an important fine detail as the cup was hot. Anticipatory service at it's finest. Many local / unique flavors. We love the drive through option also!!! Don't forget to add to their therapy (tip) jar (we all need therapy...)

Food Truck

Located in the Maui Food Trucks of Kihei, we just finished snorkeling and kayaking so we were ready for some good caffeine. Loved my sweet foam cold because it wasn't bitter and was very tasty coffee! The sweet foam wasn't really sweet as expected. If you like less coffee tasting the Blackberry seasonal drink right now was super delicious with a hint of blackberry and it's just a perfect combination with coffee! Cute benches and tables in the area with very casual vibes. They were also super nice and coffees came out fast! Highly recommend!

I got the bread with macadamia nuts because i love nuts and they drive me nuts - nuts were fresh enough, which added the crunchy texture to my soft moist bread - could be more moist but it was already satisfactory - i like how they sell smaller pieces rather than a whole loaf but also it was more pricey - not as fresh and as good as aunty sandy's but decent! rating: 3/5 - since this place focuses on cinnamon roll, the rating is heavily weighted towards the cinnamon, which did not meet the minimum expectations of what a basic cinnamon roll should be - if this place was called the banana bread place, id give it a 4/5 - quick service nothing much to note - very small store; grab and go vibes with some seats outside IG: @nom.noms.only

The menu is simple and straightforward, offering classic matcha drinks along with a few signature options. We tried the Honey Lavender and the Honey Cinnamon, and both were really good. The Honey Lavender stood out--it had a sweet, floral flavor that blended with the matcha in a way that oddly reminded me of Fruity Pebbles (in a good way!). The Honey Cinnamon was tasty too, though the cinnamon was a bit overpowering and took over most of the drink's flavor. The staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations, which made the experience even better. I'd definitely recommend anyone staying at the resort to give it a try and locals should stop by too if you're in the area and craving a solid matcha.
