We went in to have drinks and watch the Army Navy game which did not go my way but went my brother in laws way (If you know, you know). It is a very cool place with a Butcher sop right next door. If you dont mind being served by a Jarhead (Former Marine, Semper Fi Brother) this is a Great place to come and have a beer (and drinks for non-beer people) It was very busy and a lot of people had food, I am assuming it came from next door but when we walked through I did not see any food or areas to order. I Hope we do go back, I thought it was very relaxed and cool place.

Love your beer tenders!

Have been coming yearly for 3 years! Love staff and your beer! So happy dog friendly too! Our girls enjoyed it

Nice local brewery that is laid back, dog friendly with good service provided by one server Sara who is outstanding . They have a variety of beer and it's pretty good . Prices are a little steep with close to $13 bucks for two 16oz. pints . Everything is pricey now and the quality and convenience is there . We had a seasonal winter brew which and a Mango blonde and both were good. There is a market next door where you can get a great sandwich and bring over . They do not serve food . They have outside area which is a plus. They have non alcohol options and wine. Support local and give them a try.

Stopped in on our way back home from SC. I liked the name and Hawaiian theme. It's a very large place with a large bar and plenty of seating inside and out. I went with a flight with some bartender recommendations- Black ipa, West coast ipa, mango reef blonde ale and key lime gose! I liked them all. And they had a lot of different styles.

Stopped in yesterday on a roadtrip to give the beers a try and they definitely did not disappoint. They have a great selection on tap as well as to-go beers. Give the Fire Knife or Makai Life a try!

Very fun brewery to visit while out in this area!! The flights were fun and delicious plus the theme is top notch here. They also have kombucha on draft and wine options. Our only wish was it was closer towards the beach so we could visit more often!

This brewery was fun, Makai means "toward the sea". My husband tried a pint of Glass Beach Amber Ale and I tried a flight of their beers: Kveik IPA, West Coast IPA, Lazy Daze Hazy IPA and Fire Knife IPA. The amber was good but I wasn't super impressed with the IPAs. You can sit inside or outside, seating outside is limited. Cans and crowlers are also available to purchase so that was a plus. Cheers!

Synergy at its best - we brought in heroes from the NY Butcher next door, and ordered a few beers flights at Makai. They have a great selection, and the bartender helped us with our choices. No paper receipts, the bill comes on an iPad, we just added tip and clicked ok. Seating indoor was spaced apart, or you could sit outside. A great way to spend a Wednesday afternoon. And we got some hot sausage, fresh mozzarella and braciole for dinner (but that's another review).

Makai Ka Puka Ana session IPA. 5.6%. Very nice.

Five stars for their beers...seriously...loved every beer I tried here. Minus a star because they don't serve food, though you can go next door and get yourself a sandwich if you want. Flights are 4 beers for 11 dollars. Totally impressed that they have only been open about 7 months and have a killer brew repertoire. Saying that, it's a total bummer that right now they are only doing 32 oz crowlers and they are 13 bucks!!!!! Ouch. Looking forward to the 13 dollar GROWLERS....where they at? I preferred their beers here to those at New South Brewing in Myrtle by a lot. Hawaiin theme thing here was fine though just seemed odd since owners aren't Hawaiin and it's nowhere near Hawaii...who cares though? Their beer is great. Strong and free WiFi, just like 'Merica. Open 7 days a week!!!!!!!

I've driven past this spot dozens of times but today decided to stop and check out the action plenty of seating inside with a great atmosphere and friendly people on the cusp of their 4 year anniversary you could feel the excitement in the air very beachy vibe with plenty of beers to choose from I had the red ale with my Ruben and picked up a cozy for my tall boys down the road my lover had the mango blonde that she said was over the moon things could get interesting tonight hit up the deli next door then come on over for a pint you won't be sorry

Awesome local beer next door to a great deli and market. Check calendar to see if there's music or food trucks.

Beers have great flavor, and happens to be right beside a good deli. Sit outside with a great tasting beer and sandwich from the deli.

My husband and I were starving and saw an ad while picking up our car. I didn't even know that this was on the other direction but it was nearby so we stopped and had some food. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. I had a spritz of sorts and my husband had a beer. I ordered fish and chips and it was delicious. The fish batter was very flavorful and the fish was huge and seasoned well. The chips (aka fries) were also well seasoned. My husband enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich as well. The restaurant had several tables inside. They keep everything clean and organized but the menus were slightly sticky. Could be the fact that they serve beer. Still, the experience was great and we left happy with full bellies.

Although It took a minute to adjust to the menus and seating/delivery system (no servers), we soon realized it works like a well oiled machine. The coffee needed to cool so I took the time to taste some of the "other" brews and got a hit with their dark lager. This is a uniquely full, smooth, yet hardy version that is absolutely fantastic! Run, don't walk to try this one! You can probably guess which one I took home from the to-go cooler! My husband got a dessert coffe cake a well. It looked home made and came with ice and whipped cream. Our next visit could include some of the tasty looking nosh coming out of the kitchen: fish and chips, burgers, and crab cakes are a few weeks noticed. If you want it all...come to Tidal Creek!

Twelve 33 Distiller is a gem, a delight, a treat and worth visiting. My wife and I did the VIP…read moretour and it was amazing - very well led by SAM who spoke well on how they make their spirits as he showed us around, helping us pick spirits for our sampling and leading us through the equipment then to the "secret" Speakeasy. We loved our time at Twelve 33, enjoying our visit with SAM and KEVIN, the food, the spirits and the general feeling of joy persistent throughout the facility. Highly recommend you work in time to visit! TOUR $29 per person gets you a very personalized tour with an employee - in our case, that employee was SAM TICE who we learned is the Assistant Distiller and Operations Manager so he definitely knows his stuff! On the tour, you start by picking your spirits that will be on your tasting flight. Yeah, it seems weird to pick them up front but then while you're on the tour in the back, their staff is pouring all your spirits so they are ready for you when you're done - very efficient! And don't worry, your guide will assist you in selecting spirits and there's a very descriptive menu to help you out as well. SPIRITS The spirits I tried were excellent and my wife enjoyed hers as well, starting with their Intemperance Vodka that both of us got and fell in love with. And that's saying something! We are both Belvedere fans as our number one vodka of choice, and it's a Rye vodka so normally we're not in on the corn/wheat types but this vodka was smooth, delightful and fun enough that we purchased 2 bottles on our way out. Beyond that, our tastes went different directions as I loaded up on whiskeys and my wife went the tequila and cream liquor route. My favorite was the Triple Oaked whisky which I also procured a bottle of as we exited SPEAKEASY Such a fun surprise - at the end of the tour, you open their speakeasy by uttering the password, and step back into time with early 1900's decor and music, plus your tasting flight waiting with water and pretzels for you to enjoy. They give you time to taste and also select a cocktail (included in the tour) from their menu which they bring to you to imbibe in this fun room! FOOD We only tried one item from their Small Bites menu - a flatbread - but it was awesome. Very interesting flatbread as it was smaller than I think we expected but the ingredients were perfectly balanced and appropriately sized - we had the BBQ Chicken pizza with BBQ sauce, roasted chicken, purple onion and 3 cheese blend. It was cute and the perfect amount of food for a snack before we moved on to dinner closer to our hotel. STAFF Besides SAM who gave us the tour, we met KEVIN OSBORN, the founder/owner/head distiller who swung by to say hello and chat for a moment. He was very nice and it was great of him to drop by. We had servers and other staff that were equally friendly and welcoming - a warm, enthusiastic group of people that all seem to truly love working at Twelve 33 Distillery, and it made our visit even better

We split an appetizer while I enjoyed a flight of their craft beers and ciders, while my mother had a lite lager. Not that I'm complaining about the bacon, but would have liked more of the other toppings. Service was friendly, but took a few extra minutes for the server/bartender to get to us initially. But service improved thereafter, even after the crowd started coming in. And even with the crowd the volume didn't raise much, making it easy to have a conversation without having to shout. The building itself is structured like a warehouse, but they did great with the interior, I just wish we could see the brew masters at work. 4 out of 5 stars, will definitely bring us back.
