However, the resort pricing overall food value was disappointing. At check-in guest are giving a discount card for 10% of Off at the Market and certain resort locations, which is appreciated. However, if you forget the card in your room while heading to the pool or Beach, you were simply out of luck since purchases can be charged directly to the room, it seems like the discount should automatically apply to the guest account instead of requiring a physical card. The 10% discount definitely helps because Hawaii is already expensive but the price is at the market and eateries felt excessive. For example we had 6 drinks and two orders of fish and chips at Long boards and the bill was $171. Unfortunately food felt like it mediocre pub food, which made the cost even harder to justify. Overall, we love the beauty of Ko Olina and the warmth of the people, but the resort pricing felt comparable to Disney without the food quality or value to match.

From the very beginning of the trip, Aulani made everything smooth and easy. They picked us up from the airport in a shuttle and then helped us up to our room. Our room view was beautiful and everything in the room was great. Mickey mouse shaped towel on the bed, Disney Aulani coffee, and nice quality toiletry products. The beds were soooo comfortable and there was a cute Disney theme but it wasn't too much The whole resort had splashes of Disney but it wasn't too intense. It wasn't like being at Disneyland where it's Disney everywhere, which was nice. We loved all of the food, meeting the characters, all of the activities, and the amazing Luau. Everyone working there was spectacular. So amazing, welcoming, and helpful. I was warned before going that we would become obsessed and would want to return every year, and they were absolutely correct. I can't wait to return!!

It was my son seventh birthday, we stayed at the EWA Tower. They put us right next to the exit heading towards the pool, the only thing that I do not like about the Disney Alani is that their food is not that great, we had to go to the hotels next-door to be able to eat properly. Their Pool side menu was in the greatest, we got so tired of burgers and nachos that we were like we did something different and more choices. While somebody think that it's not worth it to rent, Casa Ella's, I highly suggest that you get your own Casabela's because you will have the place for the whole day. You don't have to worry about looking for your own pool lounge or your own spot while you're enjoying the beach or the pool area. I think our next visit we will plan to take advantage of the photo session by the beach at 6:30 in the evening because it's really nice shot of the area without paying a lot of money.

We were notified every time someone viewed our home, and we received weekly email updates on how many times our listing had been viewed online, what homes sold in the area, . I mentioned this directly to Alesia Borja (MRP, SRES, PSA) before our Zoom meeting. As a listing partner with those credentials, I expected her to understand the program and explain how it works. Instead, the meeting turned into a long one-hour listing presentation, and the Guaranteed Sale Program was not discussed at all, even though that was the main reason I contacted them. Her follow-up response was that she would "connect me with the broker for clarity" and that the program is not designed for sellers who want a home sold in 30 days. That felt like my question was sidestepped rather than answered. Adding to the confusion, my husband listens to Adrienne Lally and Attilio Leonardi on their Saturday morning radio show, where they consistently say that "if they cannot sell your home, they will buy it." That messaging is very clear, yet the explanation I received suggested the reality may be much more limited. Because of that, the Guaranteed Sale Program felt more like a marketing hook to draw people in rather than something clearly explained upfront. Pros: Organized general listing presentation. Cons: The Guaranteed Sale Program, heavily promoted on their website and radio show, is not what it appears to be. Despite this being the main reason I contacted them, the program was not discussed at all during the meeting. Adrienne knew I already have a realtor, who would facilitate my purchase while Team Lally would sell my home, yet the program was still sidestepped. No follow-up has been received.

On a whim I decided to go to Hawaii and surprise them. I searched AirBNB and had a goal of calm setting near the beach. I saw the pics of this villa and booked it the next day, for 7 days. The photos really didn't do the place justice!! Absolutely gorgeous with stunning views of the ocean and the lagoon. The master suite was super luxe with en suite bathroom (soaker tub was used almost every night). Check in was a breeze with the super wonderful Angel and her partner. They checked up on us ever so often. Very nice people (understatement). Checkout services checked my flight info and accommodated us in very courteous way. Best part of our experience was the delivery team - they were awesome. Young boys. On time and very respectful. But now I can't wait to unload our sofa and get something better.
