Came here for some inside entertainment for my 1 year old. It was cold and rainy so thought today would be the perfect day to explore what this place has to offer. Before you can purchase your entertainment of choice, there is a QR code for parents or guardians to sign a waiver. We purchased the toddler time for around $16 with tax included. You also get $5 loaded onto a card for you to play some arcade games. This includes access to one room for toddlers to play in all day, but honestly there's not much to do to keep a toddler occupied all day in this room. Although the toddler room was disappointing, they are accommodating to the adults by having beverages available for purchase. Food wasn't too bad, so I can't be too upset with our experience. Was surprised they had fried cauliflower bites which was pretty good. Staff were very nice and helpful with any questions we had. Some of them were really interactive with the kids which made me smile. Overall, this place is probably better for bigger kids because they have more stuff to keep them occupied, like laser tag, rock climbing, ballocity, etc.. will probably try this place again when my kiddo is bigger. read more

I have had the worse experience ever. I am at your Parma establishment now. You all are short staffed not a employee at each activity station. We have to wait for staff to come to participate in an activity. I have paid and I believe my children should be able to play and have someone to help assist when my children should be able to take part in these activities. My mom and I went to speak with the lady at the front desk Tracey and she proceeded to us that it is what it is she short staffed and you provide no refunds. she did not provide credits she just seems yo not care your short staffed I have payed for my two children to play and now they can't even take part in all activities purchased through pass due to your establishment being short staffed. Took the kids to Make Believe on this cold & rainy day. My son immediately bolted to the video games and played Jurassic Park for a while. Then I beat him in air hockey and I tried to let him win. Honestly! Then we played laser tag, which was great. You really get a decent amount of time to play a game. The little kids follow you around and continually shoot you with lasers. We didn't play bumper cars, but we did order some deep fried mac n cheese and some mozzarella sticks. They were very tasty! They've got lots to do for the little ones and they serve local craft beer for the big kids. We went to have fun and that's exactly what we did. We'll be back! read more

If I could give it a negative review I would. They took my deposit and then called me to say there was a scheduling conflict. I already ordered the catered food and sent the evites. When I spoke to EYRIE, he was rude and matter of fact. He said " we just confirmed this morning, cancel your food. Sorry I gave a deposit for the caters as well. As I did for Make Believe. The caters were so accommodating. This guys is a joke. I can't imagine him around a children's birthday party. Apparently he is the one who runs the foam machines. BEWARE!!! Please don't book here. He literally said to me "I have plenty of customers". Such a shame. Great concept. Poor management and OWNERSHIP. To be clear, I paid a deposit on a food order and sent invitations out AFTER I paid a deposit to Make Believe. No it was not a few minutes later that they called me back. It was the same day, but everything had been paid for and people were notified. They did not offer any remedy. In fact they acted like it was no big deal. The only reason a manager/owner even called me back was because I left several messages. And when they did - he was incredibly rude. I found another foam party vendor to do my party. Fantastic Foam Parties in Pittsburg area. Understandably, there is a modest drive fee. But they gave me a discount on the add-ins to offset it. When all was said and done, we received more in services than I originally ordered for the same price at Make Believe. I'm sharing this because this isn't a cheap party concept. I took my little sister here for a birthday party. Little did we know the party had already left. We decided to stay and check it out. A lot of the activities were for younger kids, but surprisingly there were quite a few things for adults to do as well. The rope climbing thing was kinda freaky! It was really neat to be above everyone trying to balance on teeny tiny ropes! The best part of the entire place was the laser tag. It was unlimited for however long you were there! We played like 7 times and each time was a blast. The arena is super cool! Two floors and tons of things to keep you hidden and on your toes. I went for the toddler area only, so I'm not sure about the other areas within the center. The toddler area was extremely dirty and overall was in bad condition. I understand toddler areas can get dirty quickly, but this looked as if it had not been cleaned in a very long time. It was not monitored by staff, so there were many older children in the area that were not being properly supervised and many families were not following rules. We were not able to play at all due to safety. It was a very disappointing experience as toddlers don't understand why they can't play. I spoke with staff at the location and they expressed their knowledge of the situation. Another family also left during my time there due to the same reasons. So this seemed like a regular occurrence for this area. read more

This place is way over priced! On top of that I bought my child a $30 package that included bumper cars, but he had to ride with an adult. In order for me to ride with him I had to pay for a $6 ticket each time! He could not ride alone, but I had to pay for a ticket to ride with him each time. So his $30 3 hour package was not unlimited bumper cars for him! I have been to tons of places with my kids and have never heard of such nonsense. If I just wanted to ride I could understand, but you are forcing me to ride and now want me to pay. read more

I'm from out of town and was in town for a vacation in August 2019, my 10 year old daughter signed up for one day of day camp which included cooking, playing video games, ropes course and rock wall. I liked this place. I thought it was very creative and the staff sent me pictures during the day to keep me posted. I know there are also adult " wine and paint" nights. Calling all children (or children at heart - you know who you are)! I finally had a chance to take my son (he's 9 and might be more mature than I... the jury's still out on that...) to Make Believe Family Fun Center in Parma, and what a fun day we had! The venue is clean and spacious with just the right amount of activities- and for approximately $30, you get unlimited access to all of them for 3 hours (starting from whatever time you arrive), plus $5 towards arcade games. They also offer other packages, or you can customize one of your own, but the all-encompassing one gives you the most bang for your buck. Activities include laser tag, bumper cars, rock climbing walls, a huge play area - Ballocity (for younger children - i.e. around my son's age - think 12 and under), mini bowling, and an indoor ropes course high above ground (rest assured- you are safely harnessed in). And of course - there's the ever-popular Dragon's Breath offered at the snack bar (which serves hot food, cold treats, and even alcohol for the parents). This sweet and crunchy concoction consists of corn puffs frozen with liquid nitrogen (be careful - its very cold)! And when you eat each puff, smoke emits from your mouth and nose! Who doesn't want to be a dragon for a short while! The facility is also equipped with free wifi, free lockers, and a nice lounge area with tvs for those moments when you want a quick break. Purchased a Halloween party ticket for a child of 4 years old for 29 dollars . Ticket advertised unlimited attractions pizza, pop etc . The ad also listed ADULTS DO NOT NEED A TICKET . Once we arrived we were told we needed to indeed purchase an adult ticket to take the child on the rides or attractions to accompany him ! That cost is also another 29 dollars to ride with him for unlimited bumper cars ! Or about 7 bucks per ride if purchasing per ride . I felt this was complete false advertising to get you in the door . Why would it say unlimited attractions and adults don't need a ticket yet make you buy an adult ticket to put your child on the rides ?? Employees and management were not helpful and we even got an "oh well" from one of them ! The wait for 2 slices of pizza was very long and people were not forming lines , arguing over who's next etc . The pop machine was down constantly due to unlimited use and needs for refilling in the back . Quite a few women were also walking around in adult themed skimpy costumes with kids lol ....butts out , thongs , fishnets exposed breasts etc ... who does that ?? It's a KIDS / family event not the bar scene . Older kids of about teen age were utilizing toddler areas and abusing toys , rough housing around small children etc . One even flipped the bird at an employee when asked to leave the toddier area and nothing was done . Poorly organized event, trashy people and false advertising left us rather disappointed with make believe . We also didn't receive the advertised glitter tattoos . Pretty neat place. Very clean and a wide variety of stuff to do. My first knock on this place is the price. The value of the 3hrpacks is great if you're willing to spend 3hrs... The per activity passes are not worth it, the value just isn't there imo. My second knock is the concessions. They don't sell bottled water???? And they have a fountain machine with a water option. However they don't sell cups or have cups for water, so you have to pay $4 for a soda and choose to get water, or choose to drink for a cess pool of germs from the water fountain. I see the owner is active on here, might want to fix this. read more

Don't waste your time or money. Had a cell phone stolen from a pre-teen child and a purse gone through while wearing. Two separate incidents. Asked for help with CCTV cameras or any possible assistance, was turned down. They didn't care. Place is ran by young kids. No order in the place whatsoever. Kids are unsafe and uncomfortable. Also went on another occasion (like an idiot) for an Easter special, payed lots of money in advance for tickets for an egg hunt. Arrived only to be told that the activity was over already, as they were out of eggs. Tell that to small children on Easter morning! Terrible service and workers who frankly do not care. Highly and Truly disappointed! I live legit like 10 feet from this place so i was like a kid in the candy store while it was being built. I allowed myself to revisit my childhood memories of arcade days and chuck e cheese, discovery zone and iplay america's back on the east coast....sadly this place falls short. I know what you're thinking, im 28 why am i even here? I have two little ones, and i live for fun with them. We've been searching NEO for fun indoor play, the jump yard, skyzone and others have hit the mark, so i was truly amped about this place. For starters, you have to pay per hour to enjoy play...WHAT?! i understand admission fees by all means, but you get 3 hours of play and thats it? Perhaps make it so you pay as you go, so that in the event you dont get to everything in that 3 hour frame your money isnt wasted. Secondly, the arcade games are ridiculously prices. Back in my day i paid a quarter, but no really the prices are insane. Its bright and colorful inside with tons to do, but really it isnt geared toward children 5 and under. they have a toddler area that is cheesy, a bowling alley..etc. They have a bumper zone and laser tag which were clutch for my little ones, but honestly i think they could have did a hell of a better job putting this place together. Originally i believe it was set to open in 2017 and i truly feel like they rushed to get it open for winter and in the process missed the mark on some things that were crucial. Ok spot to kill an afternoon with kids. Definitely pricey. The premium package which gives you access to all attractions was $30 per person. It really annoyed me that they made you purchase these bracelets for an additional dollar so the kids could wear the cards around their wrists. Just package it together Make Believe! This place is wonderful! Lots of places to get out all of your kids energy! It is extremely clean and well structured! They have bumper cars, rope walls, lots of things for all ages. I brought my two-year-old and my thought you're old and they both had a blast! My only complaint about this place would be the cost! The cost is pretty expensive! I don't think that there is a membership that you can join and you can only play for three hours. That part of it kind of sucks and that will be limiting our time to spend here or come back to this place but otherwise everything overall is pretty amazing! read more

I was visiting from out of state and needed something fun for my 8 and 10 year old kids. They had a great time. We chose the 3 activities for 2 hours - the climbing playground, the climbing walls and bowling. We were there on a Tuesday morning so we had the place to ourselves for most of the time. The employees were friendly and helpful. There was a lounge area where I was able to work while still keeping an eye on my kids. Coming from Northern VA where everything is $$$, I felt like this was a good value and provided a safe place to have fun, especially during times of wet/cold weather. I was here over a year ago and I felt this place had potential and it is refreshing to have a place close to home that cared to meet its customers expectations. Well staffed and friendly. We were here on a sunday at 2pm was not crowed. Full experience per child is 35$ but its worth it for what you get. Theres also coupons if you sign up online with email. We ordered pizza and sampler platter, The mac n cheese bites are better than any restaurant Ive had ever. Pizza was good a notch or two above chuck e cheese pizzas. Fries were good. Mozzarella stick could have been cooked longer or placed in a frier we like our cheese melted but still tasted like arbys mozz sticks. imo isnt to bad. 16$ for 16" pizza (very reasonable ) platter was 27$ I believe. (imo little pricey but portions were adequate. ) Bathroom was clean but low in toilet paper but thats the most negative thing I could say during this visit. I hope to see this place maintain this experience. We will become regulars for sure! read more

In prior years I have booked children's birthday parties at Chuck E. Cheese, Fun N Stuff, Rollhouse, bowling alleys, etc. and Make Believe by far was the worst experience. I would be hard pressed to ever suggest to anyone to host a party there. We were told to arrive prior to the start time of 3:15. The vestibule at 3 pm was a madhouse. There was nobody to check in with at the desk. When it was time to pay the balance due though someone miraculously was stationed there. We let ourselves into party room. I went back and stood next to the other counter where the attendants were ringing in customers and finally got the attention of the cashier. Eventually the host showed up in the party room. Being that we only had 2 hours in the room, this was not acceptable. Upon booking, I was told food and drinks would arrive first, then the children would do the activities. This was not the case. Had I known food would not arrive until 40 minutes before we had to vacate the room, I certainly would not have booked. Many of my guests got their own drinks and snacks, when I had purposely ordered more pizzas and pitchers of pop to be sure there was enough for both children and parents to enjoy from the start of the party. Next was the "bowling fiasco" portion of the party. Ten kids were expected to bowl on one lane. Their names were not even entered to keep score. Each child got to bowl maybe 5 times, and then on the birthday girls turn the machine shut off. And of course there were tears. I was fully expecting when choosing bowling that they would bowl a complete game? Ten frames? Actually have scores kept? A complete disappointment. The ballocity portion was laughable. They got to spend maybe 20 minutes and then were whisked out of there. At least the arcade cards were given at the end so that was not a timed aspect. I can understand lazer tag is timed, but had I known they would not have gotten to bowl an entire game and had the ballocity time be ridiculously short I would never have booked this party. The final 40 minutes was spent eating pizza, singing Happy Birthday, eating cake/ice cream and opening gifts. It was rushed and barely enjoyed because it was such a time crunch to get everything done and out of the room. We were not even able to take the leftover pitchers of pop, which I paid for, out to a table in the main area. They were thrown out which is wasteful and ridiculous. Had I known this would have been the overall experience, I certainly would have booked a party elsewhere. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. This was a $483.32 mistake. read more

This place is fun, but the worker are the most disrespectful person ever, they didn't want to turn on ride when my kids want to get on it again because they love that ride more then the other, even tho we bought the package for unlimited play for 3 hours, they had lied to my kids told my kids that there's card hour ran out, when my kids came up to me and told me there time had ran out, which I knew I cant be, I walk out with my kids to the ride and ran our card in the card reader it had shown that all my kids card is still active, they didn't want to let my kids ride it, because my kids want to ride it the 2nd time and there no one line, the worker wanted to be lazy and didn't want to turn the ride on. Make believe is over priced. A dollar per video game is outrageous. I have been to many family fun centers, Indoor playgrounds and amusement parks and this is by far the worst. Recently visited and was disgusted that there was no cleaning or sanitizing taking place except for one employee wiping the handles of the bumper cars with a white towel that was so dirty is was brown/black no in color. This place is amazing. We went for a small birthday gathering. The kids were 7, 9, and 11. They each had a great time. The place was clean and well organized. The staff was attentive and patient with the kids. And they really made sure that safety was taken seriously. The activities were fantastic. The kids loved the air walk obstacle course, bumper cars, mini bowling, laser tag, ninja wall climbing and all of the arcades games. This place is ridiculous. It's small as hell and damn sure not worth $25 per kid. That's how much you have to pay to use the majority of the stuff (or the $30 price to play everything with the ropes course). So the two kids I brought played a game and won a bunch of tickets. The rubber band broke on the group of tickets and they wouldn't redeem them tickets. What kind of shitty as rule is it that they can only accept the ticket rolled up and secured with a rubber band. I rolled them back up but they wouldn't accept them. Dumb, dumb, dumb. Well spend our moment at Dave and Busters or the new 75 entertainment place. read more
