Popped in here for a road pop was blown away. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but like the Doctors TARDIS, it's much bigger on the inside! Kudos to the nerds who get my Dr. Who reference. The interior is like a mix of modern and industrial. Really cool vibes. Great service from the friendly bartender who was super easy on the eyes and made sure my first visit was awesome. The Tavern on 42, went out with friends for the .42 cent wing night which they were very accommodating for the group we had, Wife ordered BBQ wings, loaded tots, i ordered hot/spicy garlic wings & fried mozzarella sticks. The loaded tots & cheese sticks came out, the tots were way inedible & over fried which the server was gladly to take back & given us a new batch which came back just the way my wife like them, I on the other hand didn't it tasted too much like Mac & Cheese which I can't stand. Mozzarella sticks were just good like any other good stick. Here comes the wings my wife really enjoyed her wings mine were OK, they said it tasted more "butter than Buffalo sauce" I could taste the Buffalo sauce, on the spicy it wasn't too spicy it had a nice heat kick to it, although the wings were nicely sauced they still had a nice crunch to them... The server was very attentive to everyone which I think she was the only 1 there besides the bartender. She did the best she could do with that she had always refilling my drink even though it was over half full. What I really loved was how spoken she was about where she was at like if she was coming with hot food she would mention it while passing you out just by taping on your back saying I'm behind you while getting my pop to refill it. Update your online menu. The menu ON THE WEBSITE is wrong. Everything is actually 30% - 50% more than advertised. Make sure if you order for pickup to get a total. $6 mozz sticks were $9 $6.50 quesadillas $9 $13 wings $16 The wings were fine. The mozz sticks were nasty. But advertising one price and charging another is illegal, I'm pretty sure. If it's not it should be. Sad too, this area really lacks food options. Was excited for some cheap, quick bar food. The barmaid was nice but the cook TJ was screaming that the customers were N Words. He would run food from the kitchen and slam them in front of us. I know that it's a corner bar, but that it terrible customer service. He should be fired. I only eat there when Shawn works. He goes out of his way to ensure we enjoy are food 100%. Place is an absolute joke. Bartenders(s) vaping and drinking on the job. They continued to throw the kitchen under the bus, but completely ignored the simplest of requests (beer refill, water, ketchup, etc.). Food was mid, a lot of better places for wings in the area. Went with some friends on a Friday night during lent. The only thing they serve on Friday's during lent are fish specials? The waitress gave us menus with 5 or 6 options and that's it. Let's put it this way, service really depends on whose tending bar. It started off with well below par service, shift change and service got better. Don't go by the specials on the wall, they don't change. The food was above quality for a a dive/biker bar. Chicken wrap and tots was great. The wife and kid had no complaints about the food either. They had gotten a , $5 on Friday, and Buffalo chicken Mac n cheese. Good experience except start of service. read more

This place is horrible due to the bartenders they have their I was charged for a $3 Coke when I asked for a Coke wash for my shot and when I mentioned it to the bartender she took my shot and dumped it out and tell me to get out I proceeded to tell her I wanted my money back for the pop and shot that I did not drink and she started calling me out of my name I have never in my life seen a bartender behave in such a manner when I am a bartender myself I will never go to this establishment again. read more

Not from the area but was very impress! Everyday they have a deal going on and it's pretty cheap when it comes to drinks. Wouldn't suggest coming to watch a game due to the odd angles the TVs are but good atmosphere. Didn't go on a "busy" day so I'm not sure how they are but I was glad with the Customer Service. this pub is usually great but tonight we had a bartender named Brandi....she was drunk, which could be fun, however we ordered food and when it came out she could not remember who ordered it...fine...when my husband asked the cook about the food he was very helpful and pleasant, the bartender, however , got quite ugly about it and started to talk to other customers about my husband stating "i dont know whats wrong with him"...amongst other things...we are in our upper 40's and had only 2 drinks and ordered food. .when i questioned her why she was talking about my husband she was very dismissive. Im not sure why . We frequent this pub because the food is so good and usually the bartenders are fantastic....but....tonight not so much .were gonna take some time off from here , if shes bartending next time , we will seek booze and food elseswhere read more
