Shark tooth paddle for a Marine.
    Leanne E.

The paddle we ordered came out flawless! You will not be disappointed. From beginning to end the transaction was effortless. I experienced a minor hiccup with the wrong color feather attached, but was easily fixed in a professional manner. It is now impeccable like the Marine recipient. The customer service was quick and courteous. I highly recommend them and will be using their services again! Mahalo!

Thank you so much Marie and the staff for all your amazing help and work. Marie communicated with me through text and email quickly and often and made the experience very pleasant! I ordered an engraving from them last June for my mother's urn and that was done beautifully! Marie was very kind and patient with me knowing how difficult a time it was for me. This time I asked them to do my daughter's and her fiancé's wedding box...again a beautiful job!! They really made these momentous times special for us!

ordered shark tooth paddles as farewell gifts from here. They are super nice and are always willing to work with you if you are on a timeline. They email a draft before production to ensure you get exactly what you want. Recommend Makemake, especially in a time where supporting local businesses matters.

Makemake Makana (Halawa). (4.5 stars). Having had the issues with the metal tab on my plaque being screwed in on the wrong side, I was sent to the the warehouse where the owner, Sno, was luckily still available even though the warehouse hours had long but elapsed for the day. Sno was wicked awesome in fixing my plaque so it would hang "right side up". I realize it was not Sno who put the tab in incorrectly but I am quite baffled that no one did a quality check prior to sending my plaque back to the NEX for delivery. If I had had to give the plaque that night I would have been thoroughly embarrassed!! Sno did apologize and in this case I had the time to run over to get it fixed but that is why I took 0.5 stars away. Walking into the warehouse you see a lot of different wood carvings and paddles and beautiful amazing woodworks!! Sno is definitely talented!! I would still do business with Makemake Makana again but I hope the QA checks will be a little more on point next time. The warehouse is located up Halawa in the industrial area. Don't use your GPS as it will get you lost. Just take a left at the DLS building (Old Panasonic Building) onto Iwaiwa Street. Take the first right on Iwaena Street and drive up until you see Olay Thai on your right. The warehouse is right across the street (on the left) in a parking lot with a door on the side. If you get lost just call, Sno will give you the directions!!

I loved the way they customized my son's Boyscout Eagle rank Leiomano plaque with ranks earned and Eagle challenge coin on the handle with the tattoo image. My son was surprised and happy with this gift as well other scouts at the Eagle Court of Honor. Thank you for the great artistic gift you have made for my son. ALOHA!

Cuteness is definitely found here along with fun stationeries and lots of hair accessories though this location in the Waimalu Plaza has the load of BT21 items I've ever seen in a single shop for its cozy size. Pink Box and N.Cat do share the same business as you see the sign on this store as well but it was nice to visit here as they do have slightly different merchandise from the other Kaneohe and Ala Moana location and with lots of free parking making it an easy stop to shop for various reasons...lol! They got great deals to bundle for multiple item purchases so if you're grabbing one for you grab one for someone and the service is very helpful if you're looking for a particular character or item. Thank you!

Not a large store, but they stock something for every taste. So many hair accessories, backpack accessories, stationery & pens, plushies and dolls for little and not-so-little girls! Wide variety of BTS items for everyone! While there, teenagers, tweens, millennials, gen-x-ers alike were browsing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. (I needed translation of something written in Korean.) And they didn't kick me out for taking a ton of photos. I expected to pay a lot for the items I chose, but the prices are very reasonable and some, were downright shockingly low!

But if you want something a little more special, definitely look for the local vendors. There are some great spots with handmade items. A few of my favorites that I actually bought from and brought home and I am using: - Cheeky Beach: super cute beachwear by Vivian and her son (they also have a shop in Haleiwa) - Touch of a Goddess: handmade jewelry by a mother-daughter duo - Leonardo Dale Photography: beautiful photo art of the island now displaying at my house. There's a ton to see, so go with time, it's a big market. They also have food and sometimes live music. Admission is $2 per person (cash only), and I'd recommend bringing cash since a lot of vendors don't take cards.

5 Stars Mini Q at Pearlridge - Outstanding Customer Service!…read more It was a pleasure shopping at the Mini Q at Pearlridge. Employee "Kaitlynn" did a wonderful job with customer service. She helped my 11-year-old son with the Warhammer tiny models, taking the time to explain everything needed to get started in painting. Her thorough and detailed explanations really made a difference. "Kaitlynn" was incredibly authentic and genuine - it's rare to find such dedication and care in customer service these days. I really appreciate her outstanding work and wanted to applaud her for it. If you ever visit this store, be sure to ask for "Kaitlynn" - a sweet, hardworking young woman with exceptional customer service skills. Aloha!

First off, I have actually been shopping here since they first opened in Mililani Mauka. This…read morespecific issue only started when they moved to Pearlridge Mall. I was hesitant on posting this review, but unfortunately this certain situation keeps on happening and I am not going to stand for it anymore. Me and my partner frequently go to this shop whenever we are wondering the mall, and almost every time we have gone and shopped, we are almost ALWAYS being watched... it is very disturbing and disappointing seeing that it seems like they are profiling us. Things to note about us: my partner ALWAYS wears small fanny packs, and me, a purse that is closed at all times. We wear casual clothes, and yet, they continue to stare at us, and follow us around the store. Of course, we had NO INTENTIONS of stealing, and yet them watching us makes us feel like criminals. There should not be an excuse of the employees being "too shy" because this is inappropriate behavior, and again, makes me feel very uncomfortable, leading me to my next point. I will no longer shop here again. The amount of times we have caught employees literally WATCHING US is unacceptable, especially since I have previously worked retail myself, and am always frustrated with theft as well, but just choosing random people to watch without any actual ques or a real reason is just disgusting. There are things that you are trained to watch for when you work in retail, and it seems like there is a lack of that. It makes me sad because I loved your products and what you had to offer, but I am sorry, if I can't shop here without being watched like a hawk, then I can just take my business elsewhere. Please train your employees better and train them correctly on watching for theft in the right way. I hope no one else has to experience this. :(
