I'm new to sashimi! 5/5 The Tamago was a solid 4.5/5 with great texture and sweetness, though it could have used more rice and been served hotter. The Shogun was my lowest-rated dish at 3.5/5. Creative and refreshing, but too wet from the cucumber. The Smokin' Salmon Aburi was good, but had too many competing flavors. The most interesting item was the Baked King of Crab. I wasn't impressed at first, but after deconstructing it and eating the components separately, I discovered multiple types of crab, including a crab leg. That turned it into a 5/5.

I notified the waitress and she was very apologetic. She brought me a new bottle of soy sauce. I continued eating and things were going okay until the manager came to my table. She apologized for the fly and I told her that I understand that things happen sometimes. She proceeded to tell me that employees are instructed to strain the soy sauce prior to pouring it into the individual containers on the table. She walked off before I could fully consider that she meant strain for bugs or wonder why the soy sauce would need to be strained if it was fresh or sealed. No mention was made of giving me any kind of discount or replacing the piece of sushi that I lost to the fly incident.

I understand that every restaurant can have an off day, so hopefully this was just a one-time experience. Another time, our daughter puked all over the table out of nowhere. The server was so sweet and kind. She tried to clean it but there was no way we were going to let her do that. She brought us every thing we asked for and we cleaned it up. She even brought our daughter something to settle her tummy. Today, I accidentally placed my online order at the wrong location. I called as soon as I realized my mistake, and the employee immediately offered to contact the correct location for me.
