Samurai is a small Japanese restaurant with limited seating. It does not even have a bar, but the food is absolutely fantastic. There was only one server on this particular rainy Sunday, but she did a great job. The tuna tataki appetizer was delicious, 6 pieces of tuna for $12.50, but I didn't mind because it was worth every penny. The phoenix tail sushi roll was bang on. I loved the combination of 3 different fish and masago in the roll. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

Great little restaurant, our waitress was so nice and sweet. Food was fantastic! I had the chicken hibachi with miso soup. Quiet spot, great for conversation. Lots of to go orders as well. Will definitely be back again

The sushi was solid and the prices weren't suffocating. My boyfriend ordered the Hana Awaka Mix Berry and somehow my straw got in it and idk what happened after that lolThe staff were polite and prompt throughout the whole experience. The space was chill and comfortable. Imma booth girly which they had plenty of and I appreciated. Give Samurai Sushi a try

Great place to go for lunch! My friend and I went there after we saw that lunch combo and we were really happy with the food! I think I got the angry tuna roll, the happy salmon roll, and spicy tuna. The rolls were the perfect size, and more importantly - rice was seasoned really well! Any place that seasons their rice well sits well with me. Love that they're all great portions too, you'll definitely have enough to eat because it comes with a soup and salad as well. Also got the takoyaki, which was good - but could be better. I think they used the regular mayo here and Kewpie mayo is 100% the way to go when it comes to takoyaki. Service was fast, and courteous so well definitely be back!

Sushi was great as well as the shrimp shumai! The menu has a wide variety of sushi, appetizers, and other menu items such as hibachi, and fried rice! Our waitress was friendly, and service was quick. The restaurant was clean and nice. I would recommend this restaurant if you are looking for good sushi in OKC.

The place is located in an older shopping center but don't let that fool you. You walk in and it's very clean and nice! The service is great and the size of the sushi for the price is a steal. We were visiting from out of state and the cost of the roll we just assumed would be smaller sized sushi. However if you see the pics I posted they are a good size and I was shocked. I couldn't even finish the amout I ordered. But what really had me excited was the pink sushi roll! 1st time I've seen that

A go-to for takeout sushi. Pink lady roll is a favorite, also love the classic spicy tuna/salmon.

To share we got the crunchy rice tuna and the blossom roll with a mix of the fish options (like a rainbow roll). The crunchy rice tuna has such a nice combination of textures with a little crunch from the rice and creaminess from the avocado and fish. The roll was delicious. Fresh fish, the rice in the roll was just as it should be-not too mushy (a problem I find with a lot of sushi places I've tried in Oklahoma) or too firm. For myself I got the sashimi tasting which was an absolutely delicious assortment of seafood. All of the pieces were well seasoned and tasted fresh. My husband got the fried chicken and sukiyaki. He was very pleased with both. As a bonus I got a cheesecake because we were celebrating my birthday and they gave us each a shot. I appreciate that they gave me a non-alcoholic shot since I don't drink alcohol. Overall the food was fantastic and the service was great but it comes with a corresponding price tag. Was it worth it? In my opinion, yes, most definitely. I will say though that if you don't care for seafood there are options for you, but you likely won't appreciate this place nearly as much as someone who does.

The service and food were…read moremediocre after talking to some other friends who experienced the weekend lunch buffet also. One of our friends ordered the sushi set as his entree, which comes with 5 pieces of nigiri and a sushi roll. He only got the nigiri (salmon, regular tuna, mackerel, and 2 tamago nigiri). When we brought it to one of the servers attention, she told us it was an either/or option. After talking with other friends, they told us they received both, and the nigiri was higher quality, like toro. Three of our friends ordered the pork katsu. One of the katsus was brought out early and the other two took some time. After the other two katsus came out, it was noticeable that the first one was probably refried, which made us think it was old and they didn't want to waste it. We also learned that our other friends said that when they went, the server told them that if there was anything they liked, they could ask for more to be brought to the table. Our server did not tell us this. And the sad part is that they actually took some dishes away from the buffet and didn't refill it, which was the salmon sashimi. Overall, I feel like the experience was disappointing and the advertising was misleading. There wasn't much fresh fish available, as one might think. Sounds like service isn't equal and great across the board. Some friends enjoyed the weekend lunch buffet, some other friends had the same experience we did.

The Espresso Natini was perfect 5/5: velvety, smooth, and an excellent mocktail. The Tuna Crispy Rice was another 5/5, with crispy yet soft rice and glazed tuna that added just the right touch of sweetness. The Foie Gras was rich, buttery, crispy, and topped with a sweet sauce. Absolutely delicious. 5/5 The biggest surprise was the salmon nigiri. It was the first time I tasted the buttery fat content. I'm new to sashimi! 5/5 The Tamago was a solid 4.5/5 with great texture and sweetness, though it could have used more rice and been served hotter. The Shogun was my lowest-rated dish at 3.5/5. Creative and refreshing, but too wet from the cucumber. The Smokin' Salmon Aburi was good, but had too many competing flavors. The most interesting item was the Baked King of Crab. I wasn't impressed at first, but after deconstructing it and eating the components separately, I discovered multiple types of crab, including a crab leg. That turned it into a 5/5.

As far as the food goes: Chicken karage- popcorn chicken but light and airy 10/10. Cowboy roll- a roll for the typical American palette. Not very Japanese and not my personal preference. The fish is extraordinarily fresh, the rolls are immaculately crafted, the apps are high-effort. If consistency remains the same, this may be my new fav spot. We started with gyoza and soup dumplings (called buns on the menu). Both were phenomenal. The gyoza was steamed and panfried, which is the best way to do it imo. Many places are lazy and just deep fry cheap gyoza. This place does it right. We ordered the Out of Control Roll, Tiger Roll, Fire Work Roll, and Nazo Famous Roll. They were all beautifully presented and delicious. We also ordered a massive amount of nigiri. We were so impressed we put in a second order so were probably there for 90 mins. We finished with a Tiramisu which was very moist and seemed homemade. My only criticism is the menu is slightly limited. I don't want them to have a giant menu and suffer in consistency like some places, but they should have a bit more of the basics like a house salad, for example. All in all, very impressed with this new spot. It reminded me of my childhood and measures up to some of the best sushi places I've ever been to. It has that hole in the wall vibe, without the hole in the wall grime.
