I stumbled across Sushi Moto entirely by n accident. Somehow I managed to get a BOGO in Messenger. Luckily for me I was working downtown when I realized it was past my lunch hour. I quickly navigated ttyl the restaurant. Once I pulled into the parking lot I realized that this was the former home to Go Go Sushi. This was still the familiar setup inside. It was like coming home all over again. I made two choices the Great Gatsby & the Rock n Roll. Both were excellent choices. I also added the Masago Nigiri. I was there when the restaurant was very slow since it was after the lunch rush. I think I snapped some good pics off the inside. If you are into Sushi this is a great places fire the price. After vending at a local market, we were starving and looking for a restaurant that was still open on a Friday night and we stumbled upon Sushi Moto and boy were we glad they were still open! We went straight to the counter to order our food: Crunchy salmon roll, spicy tuna roll, cray-z cajun roll. It was chilly out so we ordered hot green tea to go with our sushi and were tickled pink when it came out in a ceramic teapot with two little tea cups. Very nostalgic for me. The crunchy salmon roll was awesome, the masago on top, the sauce drizzled on top to the crunchy and the freshness of the salmon. The crawfish in the cajun roll didn't have as much flavor as I hoped. We definitely plan on coming back to the area and hope to return to try some of the other dishes, like noodles or bentos that we saw on the menu. The sushi is not good. Very sloppily made and doesn't taste very fresh. At least at lunch time. Basically bad grocery store sushi. Maybe they make more effort at dinner. The other dishes are average. Sushi Moto has really improved since their early opening days. This has become our family's favorite Asian restaurant due to the wide variety of dishes and fast and friendly service. The ambiance is comfortable - they didn't change much from the previous tenants (GoGo Sushi Midtown). My favorite item is the bento box with spicy Gochujang shrimp. It isn't too spicy but has enough kick to make me happy. I wish they would offer grilled shrimp with this, but the fried is good. The family always gets a variety of sushi rolls and the staff is always accommodating with my husbands food allergies. read more

I went in here because of the persistent facebook marketing and I love a BOGO deal. I had the Great Gatsby minus masago (pregnant) and it was very yummy. It had a TON of the crab stuff on top, more than I could eat so I shared a lot of it with my husband. My husband had the Hollywood roll. He said it was perhaps the best sushi he has ever had. My fav sushi in OKC. Happy hour is 3-5PM. Rolls are great, they don't fall apart. Also the rolls were perfectly bite sized. All of the food was delicious and fresh. I've been coming to this spot ever since they opened, and it's become one of my go-to places for a satisfying meal. I really appreciate the variety on the menu. Whether it's bento boxes, sushi, or their rice and noodle dishes, I've tried them all and they've always flavorful. Their shrimp is absolutely the best! That said, the one area where they could improve is consistency in portion sizes. I usually order a shrimp/veggie or tofu/veggie rice bowl along with a veggie-only bowl, and the portions are noticeably different each time. It's a bit disappointing when the veggies don't fill up the Togo container, especially considering you're not paying for any added protein. Veggie portions should still feel generous, just saying! Still, I keep coming back because the food is delicious and the variety keeps things interesting. A little more consistency would make this place truly outstanding. read more

Ordered take out for the first time since they've opened! Food was ready within 15 minutes as promised over the phone. Walked in and it was pretty quiet, they're still pretty new so I'm sure not a lot of people know they're opened. LET ME JUST MAKE THIS CLEAR. I ordered their shrimp and tempura veggies but requested for just sweet potatoes and they were super nice about it. I know it cost about $8.50(?) but DAMN WAS IT A LOT. Compared to other places I've been to at least. Please take the time to look at the picture I uploaded because they're sweet potato tempuras looks like chubby fries! I loved the shape because it's easier to dip them into the tempura sauce. I also ordered the noodle bowl with general tso's chicken and chose the udon noodles. If y'all ever had udon noodles, y'all know it's thick. These noodles were so deliciously thick and chewy, I was actually surprised at how good they tasted and how well seasoned they are. I didn't realize it came with vegetables on the side- they're the typical broccoli and carrots. Now for the chicken, it tastes like a more authentic and upgraded orange chicken from Panda Express. The chicken is fried crispy and mixed well with their sauce- which was sweet and savory. Honestly, the portions were huge. You will definitely become full from this bowl! Now let me tell y'all why I didn't give it 5 stars. The food was delicious. Service was quick and friendly. HOWEVER, would I come back because I want to eat this so desperately and it has now become a staple of foods I would always crave? No. Would I eat here again because it's close by or if I'm in the area? Yeah I wouldn't mind.
