These folks are extremely polite and offer great service. In a pinch they'll fix everything with aplomb. Highly recommended

I was told by Bing i had to pay $700 to have a Manual J report done by a company he gave me processThe required report to get my PSEG rebate. I followed all of his instructions. He was sent the pictures with the serial numbers and the model numbers right away. I found his instructions and did everything he said was required. Every time I called He just kept blowing me off, I would call and I would wait for responses. I was patient I gave him time since I knew he was a busy man, but all he did was give me the runaround , he actually lied and said he never got the photos that he needed to process the request then another time when I called him, he told me the system was down with PSEG. He was waiting for their website to come back up and he would let me know , when it was finally submitted to PSEG. Then a few months later, I called PSEG to find out the status of my rebate and they told me it was never processed. So I called Bing back again and he told me he didn't send it in because he never got the pictures, which was a lie.. So he needed more pictures. So my husband and myself being seniors could not go up in the attic since there was no staircase we had to wait for my son who was working to come over and take these pictures which took about six weeks to get them . So I obviously I folded into being immediately and he told me it was too late that the year had passed, and it was too late to process the rebate. That's when I got Brian involved, and matters only got worse. Well this went on for months and months So the timeframe was not my fault it was because of Bing's lack of professionalism and honesty, so finally I called his supervisor , Brian.. Brian really did not want to hear my issues and was very unprofessional and said that Bing told him the correct information and that AWS did not owe me nothing.Meanwhile, Bing said they did right from the beginning that I was entitled to this rebate from PSEG he just had to file for it and I had to do my Manual J report. Anyway, this went on for over a year back-and-forth and I still to this day have received nothing. Bing the employee of the company should not have ever told me that I was entitled to this and should've never told me to spend $700 to get the report done to process the rebate . The only thing I can say right now is this Company is not true to their word and when you call a supervisor and try to get this resolved, you get absolutely no satisfaction. Shame on them.

Roto-Rooter solved my problem, but the experience left a bad taste in my mouth…read more I scheduled a free estimate through Yelp after Roto-Rooter was the first company to respond. My appointment was confirmed for between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM. At 8:30 AM, they called asking if they could come immediately. I explained that my family was still getting ready for the day and that we only have one bathroom, so I asked them to honor the original appointment window. Then, at noon, I received another call saying the technician was on the way. They didn't arrive until about 20 minutes later. Two technicians came in, looked at the drain issue, and quoted nearly $800 plus tax. Because this is the only bathroom in my home and I needed the problem fixed, I really didn't have much choice. I approved the work. Here's the part that bothered me: the entire job took less than 15 minutes. To be clear, the drain is working and the technicians were professional. I have no complaints about the quality of the repair. My issue is paying nearly $800 for what amounted to a very quick service call. When the technicians walked out the door less than 15 minutes after they arrived, it was hard not to feel like I had just paid an emergency premium price for a routine fix. To make matters worse, I continued receiving automated calls from Roto-Rooter trying to schedule the appointment that had already been completed and paid for. That gave the impression that the scheduling and customer service systems are not well coordinated. If you need immediate service and money is no object, Roto-Rooter will likely get the job done. If you have time to shop around, I strongly recommend getting multiple quotes first. Looking back, I suspect many local plumbers could have performed the same repair for significantly less.

He quoted a price of $1700 to replace it and also suggested that I may want to replace the entire furnace instead, for $9000+. In fact, another HVAC company came and found that there was water in the inducer motor. He blew out the pipes leading to it and emptied the water out of the inducer motor. No need to replace the inducer motor and certainly no need to replace entire furnace. Tom either did not know what he was doing or was not honest about the problem. Please beware!

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!…read more I am a small business owner who works with oils and Shea Butters, so having good air conditioning to keep them from melting is super important. Last year we went by the reviews we had read, which seemed good, and hired A All to fix our commercial AC. Tyler told me that the internal blower motor had broken and it cost $1800 to fix. It was a 98-degree week so I said yes, and had it fixed. The reason I bring this up now is that I think I was ripped off last year. This is why I believe this to be true: Our AC relay was tripped because the fire marshall was here at our building, which is commercial and residential, and had to shut things off before his tests. I called A All and they said it could only be fixed manually so they came, spent 5 minutes, and charged me $398. That was 2 weeks ago. Bad enough. The next day the AC went off again, and when A All came back, they said that the relay switch was burning out, and although they bypassed it we needed a new one and they would order it. Then this past Saturday the AC would not kick on for 2 hours and we had a call in. It went back on so we cancelled the call. Then Monday AM, there was no air conditioning. I put a call in and 4 hours later no one had shown up yet. I called back and I was told that one of the vans had broken and the other guy had an emergency so the tech was going to come on Tues morning. Seriously, we felt like we were shoved to the side. Robert shows up on Tues. morning and tells us that the AC compressor is shot and we need a new one. We didn't even ask if we still needed a new switch. We told them to get us an estimate. We had not heard a word by Wednesday afternoon which I found strange. We had not heard a word by Wednesday afternoon which I found strange. Meanwhile, we called 2 other HVAC companies to come give estimates for a new compressor. I figured it would be thousands so I had to get more than one. When the first company told me that I did not need a new compressor, I was shocked and thought that maybe he didn't catch the problem. So I let the other company show up as well. He confirmed what the other guy said, but went further to tell us that the unit looked sabotaged. That was his word, not ours. The air filters had been removed and the strapping on the installation had been removed so that the piece would be sucked up against the unit and most likely burn the entire thing out. We were livid needless to say. He then told us that it is unfortunately a common thing, especially when it involves a commercial unit where the tenant (me) most likely is not going up on the roof to inspect. He fixed what had been broken and charged me $369.33! Before I let A All know what I had been told, let alone that it had been fixed, I called to get the estimated price for the new unit. I had to wait an hour and that I would get a callback with the price. No call. So I called back and waited to speak with Tyler. Neither he nor Robert would get on the phone after the assistant told me the price. She said it was going to be $4800 for a new compressor, labor, and installation. So knowing that the compressor is perfectly fine as per 2 other HVAC companies, I now believe they were going to take my money and not even replace the "broken" one. They would have just restrapped, refiltered, and rewired like the other guy and pretended they did a whole new one. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RIPOFF!!
