These guys exceeded all expections.. i read the last 2 reviews and was weary but now i see the past reviews were bogus. The owner Mr. Richard is a busy man but came to give me an estimate on a sunday which is my only day off and he was the only company of 5 to do so. He explained the job would take one day when another company told me 2-3. He handed me a hand written proposal within an hour of being in my house. No email. No ill get back to you. No BS. Still worried about the last reviews i went with him anyway. As he said his team of family members would be at my house at 7am, at 659am my doorbell rang. Here i met Angelo, the muscle. Ever look at your boiler and oil tank and wonder how it will get up your stairs? Answer is Angelo. By 10am they boiler was in a truck the tank came out in 6 peices and my oil was gone. Spotless!!By 8am 2 more trucks showed up with 4 workers. Here i met Richard Jr., Michael, Joseph, and Peter, the install team. What a well oiled machine these guys are. I kept distance but watched them work like robots. Each guy had a specific job which they executed perfectly. I was listening to them speak and i thought they were using profanity and dirty talk in my house also like the last review but i quickly realised that nipples and cocks and ball valves are all plumbing jargin. Maybe she was uneducated to the lingo. They showed me things about my house i never knew about for 20 years. These men were so great i felt obligated to buy them lunch and tipped each of them. Thumbs up and hats off to these guys. A family business that gets the job done in one day as promised.. someone raised these kids right!! read more

Richie The owner was very nice when he came to give an estimate for oil to gas conversion. He Explained that there are 2 rebates one i will get it and another i will not. All i will have to call his Wife and she will help me. The day after they have finished the job i called his wife EMILY in the office to get the paperwork for Rebate and she said VERY RUDELY that i am not getting any rebate because i am not eligible. I asked her that if i am not eligible then why did Richie explained the rebate and Promised that i will get it and she clearly said that he does not know anything what he is doing. Before i asked her anything else she hanged up the phone on me. I called back again and very nicely asked her a question which VERY RUDELY she answered that you are not getting any rebate and do whatever you wanna do and hanged up the phone again. Then i called RICHIE about it and asked him again very nicely about the rebate he promised and he almost CURSED me for no reason. He YELLED at me like i am a SLAVE. I still did not get mad at him or anything because i knew that they got my MONEY. He did not answer any of my question and keep Yelling and almost Cursing. I WAS REALLY SHOCKED. First time in my life someone talk to me or Behave like that. I never called them back. I called National Grid about the Rebate and they said that i am eligible and they have processed it for me. Richie Holzhauer and his incredible crew have been the most trustworthy, honest, professional plumbing company we have ever encountered in our 27 years as homeowners. In December, they did my oil to gas conversion on our 77 year old heat system. In a few hours, my house was finally heated by gas....they removed the old burner/boiler and oil tank and not one drop of oil was dropped. Each crew member had a specific job and they all worked in sync (all cousins, this is a family business). They even ran a gas line for me for my fireplace so we can install an insert when we are ready.....just because I asked about it, they surprised me. They have done 3 other gas conversions for my immediate family as well. They also ran all new pipes for my elderly parents and moved their washer/dryer to the main floor so they wouldn't have to go up and down the basement steps. I called for service to replace my indirect hot water tank's anode rods in the morning and Rich Jr. came in about two hours later. He noticed the expansion tank is full of water, replaced the tank with the anode rods together. He checked the boiler and cleaned the dirty flame sensor. Rich Jr. is very knowledgeable and friendly. They did my gas conversion 14 years ago and the job was well done. During the pandemic, my friend live in Queens and his hot water tank was leaking and Mike was able to replace the tank in the same day. I just converted to gas, they did good work and gave me the best quote out of all the contractors I interviewed and were even honest enough to let me know my chimney had already been lined (I had no idea) and deducted the cost of as same, I feel like other companies would have just went ahead and kept it as a cost since it appeared on the original estimate read more
