Quoted me $700 for work,…read moreincluded a hose replacement for an oil leak, oil and fluid change, he replaced my front and rear brakes. The service was good for two weeks, and we had a written and verbal agreement to pay in installments and that was agreed upon by both parties. Service has been paid $300/$700, until I had a small accident after using my rear brakes to shift down and stop at a red light. The rear wheel locked while in motion. After close examination the brake pad he replaced is nonexistent, and the piston went through the rotor. After a simple brake service in addition to other services done, I will now have to replace the brake caliper, the piston, rotor, and new brake pad, I will now be spending double to repair the bike after his damages. Mechanic Alex has since blocked my number and ghosted me after agreeing to fix the issue he caused. I will be pursuing this issue to the highest extent of the law. Thankfully I am not dead. He has zero organization and poor communication. The issue has since been professionally diagnosed and not based on assumption! Harley compatible parts were not used for the brake servicing! Also not disclosed was the ongoing issue Alex had while doing my rear brakes, to the point that diagrams had to be looked up to determine whether or not he was correct! Not only was the tone and choice of words on the phone call I had to make from a separate number despicable but extremely rude to a customer and friend he had a personal friendship with. The issue after being professionally diagnosed was deemed not a user error but a mechanical error. Mr. Borghi since has still not returned any call or message and since deemed he is not responsible for the work done when clearly he was the only person to touch my brakes. There should be no surprise after reading this review as this will remain on his conscious forever!

I had been to 13 car dealerships, yes 13, before finding Palisades Auto. When I called (to inquire if the particular car that I was looking for) was still available, I was greeted with professionalism and I set up an appointment time. When I arrived, the car was ready for test drive and cleaned up for me. This was amazing to me. I think I had lowered my standard due to the disappointing experiences I was having, but the GM met the expectation that I always had, but was not receiving. Gunther is the General Manager here, and the person I dealt with, and from start to finish, he was prompt, reliable, professional and honest. Gunther did not give me a hard push for the sale as the other dealerships did, nor did he require that I had to lock in a deposit as other dealerships did...if I was interested in the car. I decided that I wanted the car and that I was going to have my mechanic inspect it. He was open to the idea, and also gave me the information in full detail of the car fax and work that had already been done on the car. My mechanic called out a few minor things that Gunther took care of right away, took photos immediately and sent them to me. How amazing is that! I ended up buying the car. When I arrived to pick it up, the car was shining brightly, had a full tank of gas, and Gunther showed my son how to set up the tech stuff. He stayed in touch when the plates came in, and made sure all was sent in a timely manner. The best GM and dealership in my opinion throughout the NJ, NY area. I decided to have them clean my bike, and see what they could produce. To say my bike was immaculate would be an understatement!! These guys know how to clean bike, and clean them to showroom condition!!! I made sure to pick my jaw back up before the guy cleaning my bike saw me. When I rang out at the register I was shocked that it was reasonably priced as well!! I can now see why people take time out of a beautiful day to have these guys clean their bikes!!! Both times I had the bike towed to HVMC and Steve and the crew were able to diagnose the issue and have me riding again incredibly quickly. Despite the issues not being their fault they went above and beyond to rectify the situation and make sure I was happy. They've definitely won my business (I should have purchased the Ducati there to begin with). Extremely professional and polite, as long as I have a motorcycle I'll be returning to HVMC. Thank you!

READ THEM ALL Because this is exactly what you will get. They are not anecdotal; they are what you will experience. No communication, arrogant, etc. My own experience lined up 100% with the bad reviews, and I'm honestly relieved I never let them touch my bike. Here's what you should know: The staff is dismissive and disrespectful. When I checked in the very next day after dropping off my Ducati, the shop manager snapped back with, "You only dropped it off a day ago." That kind of attitude says it all. After 4 days, I was told they had a lot of "recalls" come in so it would be another 4 or 5 days, and there were two more bikes ahead of mine. Had I not reached out, my bike would have just sat there, and who knows how many other recalls would have come in? I guess "recalls" are the equivalent of "dog ate my homework". The reviews repeatedly point out that their work is hit or miss. In other words, you might not only get treated poorly, you MIGHT also get shoddy work done on your motorcycle. The positive reviews? I can't say for sure, who wrote them sine employees and family can also add reviews. I am not saying they did but, who knows? Be aware. Even their responses to criticism show the same arrogance. One answer to a customer complaint was, "It's Westchester, so it's expensive." Let's be clear: Hudson Valley Motorcycles is in Ossining. Ossining is not Scarsdale, it's not Bronxville, and it's certainly not some high-end part of Westchester that justifies inflated prices. This shop is only seven minutes from my house, but I would never step foot in there again. I'd rather drive an hour to a shop that respects customers and stands by their work. If you want to know how you will be treated for service, watch the Seinfeld episode of "Soup Nazi"! NO SERVICE FOR YOU! Bottom line: If you value your motorcycle, your wallet, and your dignity, stay far away from Hudson Valley Motorcycles.

When I got there Sal, and his 2 mechanics Jose and Joe all started working on my bike. Even though it went past 5pm they never stopped working until they fixed my bike. They love fixing bikes the way I love riding bikes. It's the beginning of a great weekend and thanks to Sal and his team I'm riding. I wouldn't let anyone else touch my bike

I had a squeak coming from the back of my bike, and I called the shop and they told me to swing…read moreby. When I arrived, Sal stopped what he was doing and inspected my bike. Immediately, he noticed the belt was too tight. He didn't have time to road test it at that time but he told me how to prep the bike and come back first thing in the morning. I followed his instructions. First thing the next day, he met me and took my bike out. We didn't hear the squeak but he told me to wait so he can adjust the belt on the spot! When has a mechanic ever done the work while you watched and waited?!! It was so great that he took the time to talk things through and give me the attention we deserve. When I asked how much I owed, he shrugged and said a number that I couldn't feel comfortable without adding 50%. I highly recommend and I will never go back to the dealer again!

A couple of…read moremonths ago, their garage was burglarized and among the motorcycles that were stolen was my sons 2017 110cc KLX. I would say we were devastated, however the response from Chris and Al at DTMoto was so swift and so huge that we didn't have time to be. In less than 24hrs, Chris pulled some strings with a dealership and replaced the motorcycle (which was a used 2017 model) with a brand new 2025. We were absolutely shocked! We couldn't believe anyone who had been the direct victim of a crime could and would turn around so quickly to replace this motorcycle and then go above and beyond with a brand new one. My son, who is 10yrs old, was deeply impressed by this gesture and to this day keeps repeating something he heard Chris say: "dad, he said kids go first". Chris had several calls to make that day, hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of motorcycles to think about, but he spent his first 24hrs thinking about my son. I will never forget this significant act of generosity, and I will continue to share the story to anyone who will listen. So, if you came here looking for a review about DT Moto, just know that these guys are the most honest, hard working and real people in the business. You can trust them with your motorcycles, they will not waste your time, they will not lie to you. They are straight shooters. However, after paying with a debit card, I noticed an additional $7.46 deposit/processing fee--which should not apply to debit transactions. Retailers are typically responsible for covering those costs, not passing them on to customers, especially when you're already significantly marking up your merchandise. This felt like a greedy move and completely unnecessary. That extra charge small as it may seem You've lost a customer and earned a negative. And battery doesn't seem new has scratches on bottom and sides most likely refurbished sold as new. "They likely avoid accepting credit cards because they're worried about chargebacks. If their service is truly legitimate and they stand by it, there should be no reason to fear credit card payments especially when they're already charging additional 'deposit processing fees.'"
