We have been using Malang Pest Control service for the past couple of years. When we moved into our house, we had ant infestation during summer. We tried all the products from Home Depot/Lowes, but it was not very effective. A friend of mine referred us to Malang Pest Control. The owner of Malang Pest Control, Jeff, explained the plans and assured the best service. We have taken the annual plan and Malang's quarterly service has taken care of the ant problems. We've been using Malang Pest Control services for a year now, ever since we moved to our new townhome. It's been a great experience so far. We had ants and other bugs around our newly constructed home and it was really bothering us. Especially during the pandemic, when we were stuck at home. It gave us peace of mind, not having to deal with bugs all the time. Jeff, our technician, was very efficient and thorough. He always wore a mask and gloves, and removed his shoes when entering the house. He answered all our questions. And was very friendly and courteous. Never complained about our 3 flights of stairs to spray our rooftop deck. Also, the company is very flexible when I need to reschedule and gives me a time frame when they're coming. We were serviced by Malang for a little under a year and had a great experience with them. When we first moved in, we had a lot of bugs and spiders hanging out around the house, and it was significantly reduced after they started servicing us! Only thing, when they first did the service we were unaware that it would put us into a year long contract with them. The rep only notified us after they did the work... So, just be aware of that! I have been a customer since 2013. In 2016 I had to stop service. Jeff was great about cancelling my service without any grief. So this year when spiders/webs were driving me nuts (can't tell you how many times I walked into spiders webs) they were my first and only call. Jeff gave me different options and I chose quarterly. Malang has been servicing my home since I moved in almost a year ago! My home was a new construction, so when we discovered there were ants right after moving in it was a headache for me as a new home-owner. While building furniture, one of Malang's staff rang our doorbell and offered a special for pest control! He was not pushy and accepted when I said I needed to think about it, and would get back to him later. After speaking with my family (who have more experience with costs) we decided this was a really good deal and went forward with signing a contract. The staff actually came back 20 minutes later because we had called and said we'd like to move forward, which is super timely! Hours after the spray was initially done, ants were gone! In the months since it's been hassle free, as the staff will send a heads up they're coming but not require that I'm home. Most recently I had an issue with some bugs on my windowsill, and the owner, Jeff, was quick to schedule to come out and take a look. He provided a spray on the affected area, free of charge. So I had a bad mice problem in my kitchen. It got to the point where I'd hear rustling most every evening that I didn't dare go in there for fear of running into them. They would scale the cabinets and run around on my counters and stove. To wake up each morning to fresh mice droppings made me wanna move (and I love my house!!). I just had my house treated because I had flies. Several days ago they kept showing up on my doors and windows.I managed to kill most of them but finally threw in the towel and called Malang. I cancelled my first appointment because they were gone. Then suddenly they were back in a different room. I decided to just call again. I got an appointment the following day. There are things in life that you just gotta take care of ASAP! For me it's having a creepy critter aka Mickey inhabit my garage. First and only company I called was Malang. Last week, Matt came to my rescue - IMMEDIATELY! Within a few hours of placing the phone call, Matt was in my garage placing traps. Within 1 day, we got Mickey. Last year, Matt came to my rescue ... at work. Can you imagine having Mickey droppings around your work station - I certainly CAN'T! Immediately, I called Matt. Again, within hours, he showed up and took care of the situation. Nothing is more unsettling that having creepy critters. It's comforting to know that Malang is there to take care of it all. Malang is an honest, solutions-oriented and NICE - yes nice company. In today's tough environment, you don't see a lot of nice company (what a bonus). WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! I hired Malang Pest Control and after a year of service, my house is still crawling with black widows and a myriad of other bugs. A few months back, I called the owner, Jeff and told him about my concerns. I also told him I wanted to terminate his service. Two days ago, I received a text message reminder that he would be out for service today, July 23, 2019. I immediately texted the owner back and told him I canceled my service and instructed him not to come. I got home today and he had already came and went... and charged my credit card $125. I just got off the phone with the owner and after being assaulted with a barrage of F-bombs and an unwavering defense of his company, he said he would come out and spray again. However, he informed me that there is NO PEST CONTROL COMPANY that can kill black widows and that I was asking for an "F'ing miracle." Only he didn't say F'ing. After cussing me out, I hung up on him. About 20 minutes after our phone call, I was upstairs watching TV when I heard someone pounding my front door and ringing the bell. When I got downstairs and opened the door, I saw the owner driving away. He had slid my contact under the front door showing that I had one final payment due, which was today's service. Super creepy. There are so many choices of pest control companies and so many companies who want to earn my business. I have never had an owner cuss at me after expressing dissatisfaction with a product. I have never had a business owner drive to my house to confront me. Never again. I will do my part to make sure my friends and family steer clear of this guy and I highly recommend you do the same. * Interesting to note that the owner told me no pest control company can kill black widows, yet my contract specifically lists spiders as one of the pests they eliminate. read more
