We enjoyed this amazing restaurant many times in the past, then tonight we went with friends and it was extremely disappointing. We will NEVER go back. The owners DOUBLED the prices and shrunk the portions. A $29 delicious flank steak that was 15oz in the past was now 10oz and now costs $44. The owner admitted that they had to do this because their cost to buy the steaks went way up. I personally don't understand this, as many other restaurants did not raise their prices so drastically like Malbec. They only had one vegetable to offer and it was cauliflower which I don't like. I asked for a side salad and they would only charge me for a full dinner salad for $12, which I refused to pay. They did bring me that salad and did not charge me to try to make me happy, but they did not ask me about dressing or what I wanted on it, and they brought me one which had dressing on it that I did not like, so I only took a few bites of this. Now, the tiny flank steak they did bring me was extremely delicious and cooked correctly. The wait time was good. It took forever to get our check though at the end of dinner. I'm just angry and disappointed that they raised their prices so drastically. I WILL NOT BE dining at Malbec ever again. Shame on them. read more

My wife and I actually stumbled onto Malbec Grill on a Monday afternoon after being somewhat restricted in our eating out activities for the past 14 weeks. We were famished. Drove by and found they were open. Food! Let's try it. Wow! What a pleasant experience. We sat outside. Our waiter, Martin, introduced himself as he poured our water and presented the menu. We made our selection with some kind assistance from Martin, chose an appetizer to split....delicious, the my wife's small filet mignon with fries and house salad was presented along with my spinach ravioli. My wife raved about her filet and I have to say the ravioli was the best I ever had. The sauce was unbelievably good. The portions were large enough so that, even as hungry as we had been, we have a second helping for next day. Martin recommended a dessert, which, again, we split. It topped off the meal. From the fresh water, through the bread with garlic and oil dip, appetizer, entree, and desert, we were so happy to have found the Malbec Grill. We will return. We recommend it. I am not much of a review writer, but Malbec Grill definitely deserves it! Their service is spectacular! Our servers were Martin and Diana and they were super attentive and kind. I went with my fiance last night (4th of July, 2020) for the first time and we will definitely be going back. Martin took his time to make detailed recommendations to us and everything was scrumptious! Both of them were also checking on us often and made us feel welcomed. Malbec Grill is great for a date night; the decor is delightful and unique. I personally love their cow and bull statues/figures. Not to mention, the place is super clean and they are doing very well with all the sanitation and social distancing precautions, all while providing a great experience. Great service great decor. To say the food was sub standard is an understatement. Bread and garlic oil was a great start to a very disappointing dinner. We ordered drinks from the bar.... who knew they charged for ice? When the check came they charged for a drink on the rocks which means they charge extra for that pour! They absorbed the fee when we questioned that; however a very sweet RUSSIAN waitress came to explain this disgusting charge. Who the hell is she?? Was the manager embarrassed to come? We did not ask and just paid our bill which we should have complained about since our food was pretty close to frozen entrees nearly heated up. Yuck!! Do not go here if you are Argentinian or you will cry! So sad because it would have been nice to have a delish Argentinian restaurant in our area! read more

Always a great time at Malbec Grill. The hot rolls and homemade chimmichuri is the perfect way to start a meal! Tried the homemade chicken and beef empanadas, pan seared salmon, Brussels sprouts and mushrooms tonight. Everything was perfectly seasoned and delicious. Highly recommend the old fashioned and lychee martini. Pretty bar area. Cool cocktails with nice presentation. Sebastian was our server tonight. 5 stars sir! There was a dj tonight, not sure if that's every Wednesday, or a special occasion. I didn't have room for dessert tonight, but I have in the past and they are to die for! read more

Service was very good. We arrived at 6 pm. Delicious bread and ample drinks. However, I don't like to pay for ice... which they later took off the bill. When my strip steak came out (ordered medium) it was well done on outside with a raw center. I can't say for sure, but I had the feeling it was a frozen steak. The grilled veggies were very good and the salad was very good. But when I go for steak, that should be the best part of the meal. There is potential here, but the meat they chose to serve me was not impressive. I don't think I'll go back for a while. I'll wait to see. read more

Our family dined at La Rural in Parkland last night. Good looking restaurant, they designed it nicely. Perfect for business dinner, family night or a date. Bone in Ribeye--10 out of 10. Better than Maestro's, Ruth Chris or Morton's. Over 40 oz and cooked perfectly. I picked up the bone and finished it off. Food ecstasy. Salad--Fresh and healthy ingredients, perfect starter. Our kids ate the salmon and skirt steak and loved it too. The servers smiled and were knowledgeable about the menu-- very nice. read more

Omg! The food is amazing and so was the service! I had a party of 10 and they did not disappoint any guests. The steak was so delicious and very well seasoned. The price was very reasonable compared to the portions. They gave us so much steak for $25. Our server, Aga, was very attentive. She handled our big party pretty well. The owner was very nice. I visited this restaurant with my wife last night, and needless to say, we had a great time. Our waitress Gaby was professional and knowledgeable about wine, she recommended us Fin Del Mundo Special Blend. I had the skirt steak, it was out of this world, and my wife at the Sea Bass, it was delightful. Favorite elegant spot in the area! The food is delicious and very high quality, the wine list is great, the ambiance is beautiful. We also like to use their chandelier-lit private room for dinners with family and friends. Great place for someone that appreciates a steak prepared perfectly. I was impressed by the design of this restaurant but even more by the staff that shows passion in what they do. Had to try the new restaurant after multiple recommendations. I was impressed with the steak. Was really tender and cooked exactly how I asked. They give you a big portion (skirt steak) and salad was good. Have to try a different cut next time. read more
