I've been coming to NY Prime for 15 years, and it's hands down my favorite steakhouse. We came this past Tuesday to celebrate my birthday, and as always, they exceeded every expectation. We started with a few drinks at the bar, where Yardin was the absolute sweetest. She took such great care of my parents before we even arrived, which meant so much. And the exceptional service didn't stop there -- they truly rolled out the red carpet for us. Stanley made sure I felt incredibly special for my birthday, and the team helped us select the perfect bottle of red wine to pair with dinner. The food was absolutely amazing. What makes the steaks here so special are the high broilers they use, creating that perfect crust while seasoning them simply and perfectly with salt, pepper, and butter. My boyfriend's go-to appetizer is the baked shrimp, while I opted for something lighter with the beef carpaccio. For entrées, I ordered the bone-in filet, and we also shared the veal, a 16oz NY strip, and the ribeye -- all cooked to perfection. I couldn't skip my favorite béarnaise sauce. For sides, we went all out: creamed spinach, fettuccine Alfredo, cheesy mashed potatoes, onion rings, potatoes Lyonnaise, and charred Brussels sprouts. Every single one was delicious. The grand finale was their butter cake, which is absolutely my favorite and the perfect way to end the night. What a truly wonderful birthday experience!

DANIELLE was very helpful with our delicious entrees. We had a baby so we were seated in a quiet corner. New York Prime is never quiet but always a great time and a spectacular dinner. We enjoyed perfect wine pairing for our exceptional meal. The filet was juicy and the salmon was fresh from the closest ocean. Great dinner. Great atmosphere. SUPPORT LOCAL

Came here for dinner. Waited about 20 minutes for our table. One sat service was fairly prompt. Ordered a 11/2 Ceaser salad, tomahawk steak, baked shrimp dinner, creamed spinach, hashed browns, fettuccine Alfredo and mushrooms. The sides and shrimp were very good. The steak for $135 which was sliced was not the price. Very fatty and not a lot of meat. Butter cake for $32 was good but pricy. Loud restaurant with live Music and really Boca at its finest.

We've been to other steakhouses: Gallaghers, Flagler and now NY Prime. For us NYP was a standout. We started with a drink at the bar which was great. (Wish there was a happy hour but oh well). We hung there for a bit catching some of the Sunday games and head to our reservation shortly after. Our server Kevin was on point! Terrific with suggestions related to sizing of appetizers, steaks, just all around very attentive and great personality. We started with the Onion Rings, arugula and apple salad and the bacon. Just wow. Loved everything. Their special sauces too were great (including ketchup). For mains we did a tomahawk and a NY strip. Both cooked perfectly. The tomahawk was a better cut of meat, NY strip was just okay. A bit fatty but was still good. Sides we had asparagus, baked potato and the large wedge fries. My only gripe was I got 5 stalks of asparagus! Finished off with a butter cake which we all split and left very full and satisfied!!!

Sancerre. Perfect. Fabiano is the best server!!

Another 10-star experience at our favorite steakhouse. Over 30 years & they continue to make the experience outstanding. The BEST bread service ever! Details like a black napkin instead of white for me since I had black pants; chilled salad plate, shaking & pouring martinis table side. Mike took great care of us Fantastic salad-crabcake-steak-hash browns. Always recommend to visitors.

A Night to Remember! Thursday night, I had dinner with a group of friends, and it turned out to be an unexpectedly fun and memorable evening. From the moment we arrived, our server Danielle made us feel welcomed and well taken care of--her warm smile and exceptional service truly elevated the entire experience. The restaurant was bustling, which added to the lively atmosphere, and we even ended up chatting with the friendly guests at the table next to us. The food? Absolutely incredible. From the beautifully prepared shrimp to the perfectly cooked steak, every dish was top-notch. It was the ultimate steakhouse experience, and we left with full stomachs and big smiles. We'll definitely be back!

We went as a large group. All of the dishes were very well executed. And we had a set of staff tending to only our table. They were not well equipped for children and did not have a highchair or booster seat.-we were able to let the slide and our son used a regular chair. However, we ordered pasta for our child and out of the entire table of 15 people they brought our two year-olds dish last. This was disappointing and felt very thoughtless. Some more training in this area would help staff for sure since the food is so delicious.

First time visiting NY Prime. Food was overall good, Lyonaise potatoes were a bit salty. The Ribeye was cooked decent. The complaint I have is that they keep it way too cold in the establishment. Very busy for 9pm on a Friday in my opinion.

Especially the short rib plate was presented beautifully. There is a nice assortment of wines. We would love to have tried dessert, but it was honestly just too noisy.

Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Coconut Creek Review…read moreDinner Date: August 23, 2026 Location: 4473 Lyons Road, Coconut Creek, Florida 33073 Hubby and I decided to go out for dinner with his brother and wife. We wanted to spend some time together, have a few drinks, and enjoy a nice dinner, so we decided to visit Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant in Coconut Creek. We arrived around 5:00 PM and had reservations. Unfortunately, when we entered the restaurant, we were not greeted at the entrance, which was our first disappointment. Once we were seated, we were greeted by our waiter, Brian. I want to give credit where credit is due because Brian was attentive and did everything, he was supposed to do. He asked us what we wanted to drink, asked about appetizers, checked when we were ready to order our meals, and continued to provide us with service throughout our dinner. Unfortunately, the food was a completely different story. I ordered the meatball appetizer, and when it arrived, I immediately noticed something was wrong. The meatballs appeared to be burned underneath the sauce, and they were so hard that I could barely get my fork into them. I had to stop Brian and ask him to take the meatballs back to the kitchen and remove them from my bill. Brian did so, and I appreciated that he addressed the issue. I then ordered Churrasco Steak with Parmesan Fries. The steak itself was good, but the fries were cold, hard, and did not have any Parmesan on them, even though Parmesan fries were part of the order. At this point, I was extremely disappointed with my meal. And my brother In-law who ordered a steak sandwich with Cesar salad, the salad never arrived with his meal. And when we stopped our waiter for the salad it took 1/2 hr to stop him and remind him of the missing salad. The dinner portion took 45 minutes before being served on a busy Saturday night. Because I was so unhappy with my experience, I asked Brian if he could please get the Manager because I wanted to personally explain what had happened. The manager, Tim, came to our table. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed by his response. He did not appear concerned about my experience, and I did not receive an apology for the problems I had with my meal. I had to ask him, "What can you do for me?" What happened next made the situation even more frustrating. Instead of addressing the fact that my meal was the one that had the problems, the manager decided to give me credit for my brother-in-law's sandwich. I did not understand this resolution because my brother-in-law was not the person who had the problem with his meal. I was the customer who had the burned meatballs, the cold and hard fries, and the missing Parmesan. At that point, I felt that my complaint was simply not being taken seriously. I want to be clear that Brian, our waiter, was not the problem. He was attentive, polite, and did what he could to help when I brought the food issues to his attention. My biggest disappointment was with the management response. When a customer takes the time to explain that they had a horrible dining experience, I believe the manager should show concern, listen to the customer, apologize, and make an appropriate effort to resolve the situation. Unfortunately, I did not feel that happened during our visit. This was supposed to be a nice evening out with family, and instead, I left feeling very disappointed. The food was not what I expected, and the lack of concern from Manager Tim made the experience even worse. Unfortunately, I would not recommend Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant in Coconut Creek to others based on this experience. I strongly suggest that management consider providing additional customer service training, particularly regarding how complaints are handled and how managers should respond when a customer is genuinely dissatisfied. The waiter Brian deserves recognition for doing his job well. Unfortunately, the food and the management response left a very bad impression. Management more Training!!!! Especially Mr. Tim. Disappointed Customer.

The portion was HUGE, and everything was cooked really well. My daughter had the Linguine Bolognese and absolutely loved it. I also had a glass of Chalk Hill Chardonnay, which came out extra cold and was perfect. Our server was amazing! I really wish I remembered her name because she deserves the recognition. She was attentive, friendly, and absolutely fantastic throughout our entire meal. The only miss for us was the tiramisu. If I could rate the dessert separately, I'd probably give it around 2 stars. I've had a lot of tiramisu, and this one just didn't taste quite right to me. There was a really strong cinnamon flavor that overpowered everything else, along with a very heavy coffee taste. I know tiramisu is a coffee-based dessert, but the combination of that much coffee with the cinnamon was just too overpowering and took away from the flavors I normally love in tiramisu. We also had the Strawberry Cream Cake, though, and that was absolutely 5 stars! It was really great, and the flavors were very well balanced. We really enjoyed that one and would definitely order it again. That being said, I'm still giving Lynora's 5 stars overall because everything else--the food, portions, wine, and especially the service--was great. Unfortunately, our last two visits have been overshadowed by our interactions with the manager, Edward. On both occasions, I found Edward to be incredibly rude, dismissive, and disrespectful. What makes this especially disappointing is that we aren't first-time customers complaining about one bad experience--we have supported this restaurant for years and have continued coming back because we genuinely enjoy it. Good food is only part of what makes a restaurant successful. How loyal customers are treated matters just as much. I should never leave a restaurant that I have supported for years feeling disrespected by its manager, and unfortunately, that is exactly how I have felt after my last two visits. We still love Lynora's food and have many great memories here, which is why I'm so disappointed to be writing this review. I sincerely hope ownership takes a close look at how customers are being treated by management, because Edward's behavior is completely inconsistent with the hospitality and customer service we had come to expect from Lynora's.
