This was the first time I have tried an event at any Total Wine location. I booked the chocolate and wine tasting event for date night. I've been to this location several times I never knew about the classes or the back room that is held for events. We were checked in and to our surprise they had Publix platters available to eat before the tasting! Unfortunately that might be the only positive aspect of the night. Ed was the presenter and we were highly thrown off when he started the class saying when he talks for people to be quiet and his voice doesn't go any louder than how he spoke. My immediate reaction felt like I was in a classroom setting and was unable to speak to my spouse who was next to me. To kicked off the class Ed started off with a champagne toast but instead of pouring our glasses he spent 20 minutes bragging how he could open a champagne bottle without a sound. I was itching out of my seat, I didn't pay to sit in a class, quiet, to watch this technique, instead I was quite annoyed and anxious to get alcohol in me. Finally once the pours came around it was literally 2 small sips for us to try. When it came to the chocolate and wine pairing I was eager to taste each but the pours were extremely small and lessons consistent of how to say "Ghirardelli" properly. I was happy to see there were 8 wine tastings but they were all from their winery direct line which is often on sale. As to the assortment of wines, to each is own as far as taste palette but 7 out of the 8 wines were under the $15 price tag, 2 of which were ports (very similar in taste). Needless to say my spouse and I left the event and unsatisfied. The next day I answered their survey email explaining my experience and dissatisfaction. I received a call from one of the assistance store managers, Kristen, who was very sweet and apologetic who sympathized with me of my experience. Based on her phone call and reassurance I would possibly consider to book an event again however, that likelihood would be likely since the first one left such a sour taste in our mouths (even though it was full of chocolate). read more

Love this liquor store! This store is located in Coral Springs and it's very large and spacious. It's definitely a stop I make throughout the year and especially during the holidays. Great place to buy gifts. The selections for all of the different types of liquors, wines, beers and mixers are unbelievable. You can find anything or everything you are looking for. This liquor store offers a wide selection of wines and beers from countries around the world. It's basically an international store. I love that you can buy a single international beer before you have to buy a six pack. Cozy seasonal displays for the holidays are spread out around the store that include vibrant colors and sparking bottles. If you hit it at the right time sampling stations are set up. Very nice to try samples of different liquors and wine before buying them with the samples because of all of the different varieties. It's really hard to choose. I was in the Boca store and they had a bottle of wine that I liked but I got the last bottle. It was on sale so I went ahead and ordered some from the Coral Springs store. Located in The Walk on University in Coral Springs, there's plenty of parking right in front of the store and when you order online, they'll actually bring it out to your car. Since I had never been to this store, I decided I would go inside and pick up my order. As I was walking around the store I realized how nicely it was laid out. It's a little smaller than the one in Boca, but it has all the same things, and on weekends, they have taste testing's. It's always fun to try something new. read more

This place was honestly awesome! The few locations I've been to never disappoint and this place plus their employees are beyond helpful and knowledgeable. There's a huge variety to choose from, if you've never been you should. They have much more then just liquor, just keep that ID in hand if you do decide to try or purchase anything. Prices range from cheap individual bottles as low as .99 and up. There's a wide range of small bottles too, they really have it all. In the back they have a fridge with kegs and more cold beer/wine options. This place is so big I definitely recommend taking a cart you might just need it. My go to Total Wine location. They have a wide variety of spirits/ liquor and wine. Employees are always offering to assist.

This location is pretty large, and they carry just about everything you would need for personal consumption or shopping for a birthday/holiday gift. The service was friendly, and although they were constantly busy, the shelves were stocked well throughout the store. Most days and evenings, there are beverage samples and a quick education on the samples with hopes that you make a purchase. There are local businesses that host events in the back room for wine tastings. I happened to attend one of these wine tastings, and it was very educational. The samples are small, and I was not crazy over anything I sampled, but I did purchase a few bottles of wine that I had previously sampled. The checkout area was clean and well organized with free boxes to keep bottles from breaking or tipping in the car on the way home. The checkout person was friendly and quick, which is what makes the shopping experience good. Parking is a little hectic as the area is very busy and cars are zipping about to leave the plaza. This is the least trained, least helpful checkout and management team of any Total Wine I have ever visited. The floor team, on the other hand, was helpful as I would expect, even walking me to find what I needed, across the store. This all happened at 9:15 AM. At checkout I pulled out my phone to check coupons in my email. I asked the associate if there were any coupons or promos right now and he said "I just tell everyone to activate all the promotions and if you do t use them you can deactivate them." Ok....I then I asked, " I see here there is a promotion for liqueurs and I have this triple sec. Is it included in the promotion or should I go get another brand?" He said, "Once I ring it up I can tell you. I honestly don't know all of the store brands." Ok...so it wasn't the one on the promotion so I asked, "Can you tell me which triple sec would be the one included in the promotion?" He said had no idea. So I let that go because now there was a person in line behind me but once he finished ringing everything up I asked if I had received the $10 off promotion on the tequila...I didn't so I showed him the photo of the shelf. He called the manager over, who went to check the shelf. She returned and said the promotion is only on the smaller bottles. I asked which was the better deal? The associate said,"honestly I have no idea but the smaller bottles have to be less than the bigger bottles." I said, "Yes but I am asking which is a better price per mL-the smaller bottles with this discount or the larger bottles." The associate said, and these are the words he used: "Yeah honestly I'm not about to math that. I have no idea." And threw up his hands. Note, at this point, the manager, instead of intervening to help me or guide the associate, talked over me to tell the person behind me to come to the other register. I said to the associate," You two are absolutely no help and an example of the worst customer service I have ever received. I will get out my calculator." He said nothing. As I was punching in numbers on my phone, I heard the manager tell him to suspend my sale to ring out the next person. I felt like I was in a standoff between these two jerks insisting on not helping me find out which products were a deal and me just trying to make sure I am getting the best price. I told them to forget it and just bought one large bottle. I was only buying two in the first place because of the promotion. It is the Christmas season, but again, this was 9:15 AM...I walked in as they unlocked the doors. There wasn't anyone in line when I got to checkout...it's just nobody could be bothered to help and they were going to be sure to go out of their way to dig in their heels to not answer any questions. The associate was rude and I know the manager could hear his responses yet she did nothing. After everything was said and done and I was leaving he said "Happy Holidays" and all I could think was if I said what I wanted to say, it would be,"thank you for making my Christmas shopping as difficult as possible." But alas, I am pretty sure he knows that already so I didn't say anything and left. I have been shopping at Total Wine since they first opened down here. Our usual store was always Ft. Lauderdale....I never had a bad experience there in how many years? Probably 15? Since they opened. This Coral Springs store needs some customer service and product knowledge training. I love this place! The location is very convenient on University Drive in Coral Springs right at the end of The Walk. Hours are great 9 AM to 10 PM every day except for Saturday and Friday. They are open until 11. There is plenty of parking in the surface lot. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The store is clean and well-maintained. They have a tremendous amount of inventory. I love their rewards program, and the benefits that come with being a Grand Reserve member including free gift bags and magazines. I've attended many of their classes, including 'Getting to know Scotch', ' California uncorked - Napa Valley wines', and ' Great sparkling wines'. This is the supermarket of alcohol. I was craving a certain liquor and I didn't want to drive around to a bunch of different stores looking for it. I headed over to Total Wine because I knew they would carry it. If you can think of it they carry it here. It is also very easy to navigate the store because all of the aisles are clearly marked. They have an endless array of wines, craft beers, and liquors. They also carry glassware and snacks. I loved their Halloween decorations, especially the vodka in a skull. At $50 I would't buy it but it would make you the hit of any Halloween party. They also had a great wine display. I was easily able to locate what I came in for and purchased it along with a shot glass because surprisingly I did not own one. After we attended an UYE in the area, my wife reminded me that we are running low on a couple of items and need to make a run to Total Wine. I did not know there is a Total Wine in the area, but my wife show it to me on Yelp and proves once again...I was wrong. LOL! This particular Total Wine location looks no different than the two or three other locations we visited. Isles after isles with wines, spirits and beers from all over the world. And the isles are very clean and organized which makes finding any particular bottle you are looking for very easy. We did not get any wines this trip. We came looking for a few particular cigars what we like. I love their walk-in humidors. We knew exactly what we wanted and it was easy for us to pick them out. The only drawback was at their check register. We only had two items so we thought we should be able to get in and out. But the clerks at the check registers were not working efficiently. With customers waiting in line with more than a dozen of bottles, you'd think the management would do something about it. I only wish they can work on improving on keep the line moving. read more

This store is a bit further from my house than another one, but there is a specific beer I buy for my dad and this is the only one who has it stock. I really like this chain! We actually came here to go to Brooklyn Water Bagel, but found out it was permanently closed. Fortunately, our trip to Coral Springs was not a complete waste since we saw this liquor store. There is such a great selection of beer, wine and liquor. I tend to mostly come here for brews. Prices here are fairly decent. We have a Riesling we enjoy, it's $9.99 at Target, $7.99 at Walmart and $6.99 here. So we had to pick up three bottles! I really liked the beer selection here. I was happy to find my UFO beer in stock. They did have local brews, but it would be nice to see even more. The seasonal section was also nice. We somehow walked out with $85 worth of brews and wines. Eek, but we won't be back here for a while. I'll take Total Wine + More over ABC any day. read more

I was looking for a huge bottle of Prosecco as a gift and it had to be La Marca which is the person's preference. Love Coral Spring so driving here wasn't a big deal. This store was the only one said to carry a large bottle before deciding to get it in Miami. Love this place. I'm a Gin enthusiast and they have a large selection of Ever Tree tonic. It's the tonic that makes the Gin a tasty concoction. My favorite is actually the Ever Tree Spiked Orange Ginger Ale & Gin. This is like the Walmart if alcohol. If they don't have it, then nobody does. Because of the Corona virus, they supply a spray bottle at the entrance when you enter the store. I sprayed my hands and the. 12/9/2017 - There is just something about this store that I like more than other locations I've been in. I think it feels a little cozier than most. On this date, they had plenty of sampling going around. We had to be careful not to taste too much. The service was fantastic and the store is uber clean. Everything is stocked to the top. They had an area with already made gift baskets for the holidays. There is a large selection of everything you might want and at great prices. We purchased quite a bit of wine, sake and champagne for around $150. Next time, I'm going towards the craft beer selection. Loving this location only a short drive from me. By now we all know how much I love Total Wines. I frequent the Boca Raton and Plantation Stores whom both have excellent customer service. But this Coral Springs Location was despicable. Myself and my sister in law were shopping for our mother's birthday party and first stopped by the individual mini bottles racks to get some party favors. Literally picked up at least 50 mini bottles and placed them in our basket. While there I noticed two different sales rep peek over and come by not really doing anything except shuffling around items to seem as if they were working. After us being in that section for maybe 10 mintues getting bottles of all sorts we moved on. The next part is what infuriated me. As we went from isle to isle I noticed a particular dark haired sales rep followed me on all 3 isles. Now at this point im fully at attention. While walking in the store I then saw 2 more sales reps come near me peeking over our shoulders. Keep in mind no one has spoken to us. Ask if we need help, a simple hello, or anything outside of glancing in our basket several times. I counted at least 6 times. Fast forward to the last isle as coming around the corner we were meet by I suppose a manager who oddly comes around the corner looks into our cart and says hey are you finding everything okay. The point im getting to why are you constantly not making eye contact but looking into our cart. The other employees did the exact same. No pleasantries or anything just looking into our cart as if they are looking to confirm something. At this point im annoyed I keep walking when he speaks to me. This was by far the most disgusting interaction I have ever had in a total wines. Just to be exactly clear I want to fully set the scene. From where we are coming around the corner you can see the isles in front and the cash register. When coming around the corner we saw the manger going towards another isle. He then held his ear and earpiece then looked over our way. Said something then began to come around the corner area were we now were. Gets to us says what he says all while looking into my basket rather than me. As we walked to the front there were also 2 large wet spots with some sort of liquid on the floor and just a wet floor sign. No one was doing the job they were paid to do. This was dangerous. The water or liquid was so wide spread beyond the signs, no one was in site saying be careful or anything. At the front our cashier basically ignored us while she casually had a conversation with the same lady whom made her way down every isle we were on and now she's speaking to our cashier. How convenient. The staff here was disgusting, rude, inattentive, not welcoming, and very prejudice and judgemental. I would never shop here again. In total myself along with my sister in law spent well over $250.00. But despite the large amount, it could of been $1.00 or none at all. Respect is deserved and expected. The staff here is unfit and bias. Avoid this location if you can. read more

Miserable team with miserable people skills. Even tried speaking to the managers and they just shrugged and did absolutely nothing for me. I Explained that i drove 45 minutes with my 27 year old wife to get a specific specialty beer from this location and then was refused service because she didn't have her ID. Mind you I am 25 years old with 2 forms of valid ID. I have been to this exact location before and was not even asked for my ID. First time in total wine believe it or not. There is basically any wine from high end to low that you can think of there. As well as spirits, mixers and gift items. A team member named Alex, was super helpful to us and was knowledgable with the different types of wines. He also is the person you need that has the key to the higher end wines. They also offer a complimentary wine magazine that has a wine vintage chart that rates different vintages by year. Will definitely be back in the future. Oh! One more tidbit. Suzanne was my cashier and she was so rude and belittled me for using my passport instead of my license in front of other customers (she was pretty loud & aggressive.) i believe she got frustrated because she was incompetent at finding the birthdate but that's no reason to be rude. This is your typical, cookie cutter Total Wine. Rows and rows of endless wines, separated by countries for the imports. The US wine is separated into varieties instead, and are alphabetized by winery within with each variety! It sounds complicated, but it works well once you're familiar with it. Champagne is all together, and separated by French Champagne and Sparkling Wine. They also sell Sake. My husband and I have definitely gotten in to cold sake lately, and I do enjoy browsing and buying different kinds here! They recently relocated the section of sakes, and a older gentleman was very nice and led me right to their new location! He was willing and ready to answer any questions I had, all while being so pleasant! They obviously has SPIRITS aplenty! This is a liquor store, too, despite the name! My husband loves to check out bourbons, Japanese whiskeys, and more. I wish they did have a better selection of exciting bitters... So in the meantime, we bought pretty much everyone they carry! We love to experiment with at-home craft cocktails. They also carry fancy aperitifs and cordials... I wanted creme de violeta after having a cocktail with it and falling in love. I was able to find this easily here! Lastly, the Craft BEER! They have an endless selection of seasonal crafts, and sometimes have some impressive, hard to find brews I love. They also have a growler fill station at this location, complete with multiple taps, and a chalkboard menu with info on each beer.
