Clean seating area for sure ! A lovely place for me to politely sit this stale popcorn down

Just ... no. The only good thing about this whole experience besides enjoying the movie was the prices since my husband and I went earlier in the day. The staff does not want to be here, they don't smile and are extremely dry and curt. Maybe they'd do better as a prison guard or something , but customer service isn't it. Some lady with huge glasses and in a wet and wavy wig let us know the kitchen was closed, no explanation why nothing ... just when we tried to order she abruptly cut us off and said "it's closed". The popcorn was stale and the bigger woman didn't even had us our popcorn you slid it over the counter without even looking at us. I'll be contacting corporate for sure, and based off these reviews I'm not the only one who thinks the customer service could be better. Nonetheless the movie was exceptional!

Honestly I despise coming to this location. I usually go to the Olive Branch location because they have leather seats. Anyway, this theater usually holds some movies a bit longer than other locations (which is why I am here). Almost EVERY seat is utterly disgusting. It seems as if they never clean this place! There is gum in the cup holders and food all over the floors and seats. Overall the workers seemed to be friendly but i would still rather go to a cleaner location or at least one in which I can personally use a Clorox wipe before I sit down.

This cinema just installed new recliners and is very clean and professional! Great customer service also!

This is the dirtiest theater I've ever been in! My child dropped her toy on the floor and I saw this when I retrieved it. Also, the chairs need a major update.

This theater is convenient for me to drive to, but it needs to be temporarily shut down for a thorough cleaning. EPA and the health department would probably shut it down if they came in with a blue light. This place wreaks of old socks and some other unmentionables.

When you walk in, you can see the ticket desk & movies showings. If you purchased your ticket online, you can redeem them at kiosk next to or at the desk. There is usually someone there to greet you. This location does have a bar so you grab you something for your movie or sit & eat. I like from time to time that they do themed drinks. When i went to see scary movies - I had a wazup drink which was yummy. Lately, i've been on the strawberry daiquiris slushies. Depending if the theater is packed, you can redeem your ticket at the concession stand. They have the typical snacks, drinks & popcorn. Seats recline while the rows are well spaced out. I always enjoy going to see movies here. Plenty of parking.

We arrived early…read morebecause we had heard this location had a bar, and we thought it would be nice to grab a drink and some food before the movie. It was our first time visiting this downtown location, so we were excited to give it a try. Unfortunately, our first impression wasn't great. When we walked in, there were two employees at the front ticket desk, both with their heads down on their phones. Neither acknowledged us with a hello, welcome, or even looked up as we entered. We eventually found the bar toward the back. The menu was actually a decent size, offering both food and alcoholic beverages. We ordered the fish and chips, nachos, and a couple of drinks. One small issue was that the bartender never asked what type of meat we wanted on the nachos (pork or chicken), and the menu didn't indicate there was a choice. As for the drinks, they were just okay. Mine tasted more like a Sweet Tart than an actual cocktail and wasn't particularly memorable. Our food was packaged for us to take into the theater, which was convenient. We also noticed a wood-fired oven that I assume is used for their pizzas, which looked promising. The next hiccup came when it was time to have our tickets scanned. There was one older employee handling the line, and the process moved incredibly slowly. Something that should have taken seconds ended up taking close to ten minutes due to the pace of the line. The theater itself was nice. It was spacious, the reclining seats were comfortable, and the sound quality during the movie was very good. Unfortunately, the food was the biggest disappointment of the night. The nachos were, honestly, a complete miss--covered in excessive nacho cheese with what tasted like mystery BBQ meat. We each took one bite and threw the rest away because we knew we weren't going to enjoy it. The fish seemed fresh, but it had absolutely no seasoning or flavor whatsoever. The fries, however, were fresh and ended up being the only part of the meal I actually ate. We ended up buying popcorn and candy instead. Overall, the theater itself was comfortable, and the sound quality was great, but nothing about the overall experience really stood out enough to make me want to drive all the way downtown again. With improvements in customer service and food quality, I think this place has potential, but based on this visit, it just wasn't worth the trip for

Bigger stadium style seating, better projection, and higher quality sound, with Dolby Atmos offerings for certain films. That said, you're going to pay for it. Whereas a late showing at Cinemark runs $9.50- $9.75 (as of 26 May 25), Malco is charging $11.25-$11.75. On Tuesday specials, you have a similar gap, with Cinemark around $5, and Malco around $7. I generally find this reasonable given the differences. We swung by on Memorial Day during a busy opening, holiday extended weekend. Booking online (and having to pay extra for it) helps get past any lines, and skip to the kiosk. Like most modern theaters, there's no traditional movie stubs; rather cheap receipt paper tickets, about as thin as toilet paper. Being a stub collector I find this disappointing, but again I can't ding them for it, as it's par for the course with most theatres. The staff was courteous, and the theater clean. Until that point I was sitting on five (5) stars ... unfortunately I cannot ignore or forgive the state of disrepair my "luxury" seat was in (picture included; House 5, Row J). And the two (2) next to it, weren't far behind, so it clearly wasn't a one (1) off. This is not something that gets accidentally missed, nor something that happened suddenly. Because of that, I can't get past a two (2). However, being a film lover, I will try again in about a month, booking the same House, to see if there are any changes. If so, I'll update my rating accordingly.

I remember when is was just one screen and the upper level was a balcony. It went through some bad years but the previous owners converted it to 3 screens and kept it going. It is now under new ownership. The staff is very friendly and the popcorn is fresh. They get an extra star for this alone. So many theaters, including one in Jackson, get their popcorn delivered in bags. Snacks are reasonably priced. The theaters themselves are okay. They are clean and the seats are comfortable. The sound proofing in the walls seems pretty good. I did not notice any sound from the other theaters bleeding through during any of my visits. They loose a star for the screens. They are very small but that is not why I am deducting. This is a small theater so I did not go in expecting a giant IMAX screen. I subtracted a star because the upstairs screen has several wrinkles and uneven spots. Movies are a visual medium and this type of flaw in the screen is very distracting. The downstairs screens are high up on the wall and I had to crane my neck and look up to see the movie. Also, the image on the screen had a faint sort of out of focus "ghosting" quality to it. That's when you see two images that don't quite come together into a single focused image. I don't know if that had to do with the odd viewing angle or not but it was distracting. The movies are current and varied. In the old days the movies were months old and many popular hit movies never made it to Milan at all. Finally, the Ritz gets an extra special compliment for putting up a big, can't miss it "No Cell Phones" sign. So many theaters want to ignore this issue, but mobile devices are the scourge of modern movie going. The Ritz owners should be thanked for making an effort.
