This was my favorite spot to eat in Lanai. We ordered the papaya burrata salad, burger, crab sandwich, grilled shrimp, fish tacos, passionfruit cake, and chocolate cake. We would order everything again except the taco-- it was fine, just nothing special. We loved all the greens that came with the dishes--it was nice to have some local veggies. Everything tasted so fresh. My husband said this was one of the best burgers he's ever had. My favorites were the burrata, crab sandwich, and chocolate cake. We also had the burrata at Osteria Mozza, and I thought that burrata here was on par (and, a lot less $). The views are spectacular, and so is the service. Edna was our waiter for both visits, and she was great! My husband casually mentioned that one of his favorite fruits in Hawaii was apple bananas, and that he was bummed that there weren't any in the market downtown. A couple moments later, Edna presented us with two apple bananas! What a treat. It's gestures like this that really make staying at the Four Seasons so special. Every staff person was fantastic. We had drinks, and the drinks were good at the bar in the hotel is to the side of the pool. Thanks to the Kids For All Seasons program at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai, my husband and I were able to enjoy two lunches at Malibu Farm. Located by the pools and overlooking Hulopoe Bay, Malibu Farm employs a farm to table concept featuring a menu with the freshest local and organic ingredients. There are so many outdoor activities to do on Lanai so whether if we went hiking or swimming in the ocean, I would be craving for something fresh and tasty for lunch. Malibu Farm did not disappoint! Our first lunch we shared a very beautiful ahi tuna nicoise salad. The ahi was fresh and I loved the Molokai purple sweet potatoes. We also shared a very hearty mahi mahi fish sandwich. For dessert, we had the passion fruit yogurt cake and the grilled chocolate cake. We foolishly thought we would just take a bite and save the rest for the kids. That did not happen. We finished both pieces and really could have eaten more. Both cakes were amazing! Our experience at Malibu Farm was so wonderful that we came back for lunch the next day. Since we were having a big dinner that night we decided to share the papaya and burrata salad with ahi. This is one of the few restaurants near Manele Harbor. All the restaurants in this area is located in the Four Seasons Hotel & Resort. We knew it was going to be expensive, but since we weren't going into Lanai City (where more affordable restaurants were) and had no other option, we thought we would try it out. It's located in walking distance of the Hulopo'e Beach, which is convenient for beach goers. The atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful. The restaurant is outside and overlooks the beach. I don't know how parking works since we used a shuttle and they dropped us off. I'm sure there's a parking fee or valet parking. The staff directed us to the restaurant and the waiters/waitresses were nice and friendly. The food is average in comparison for the price. It's going to be expensive regardless because of the lack of restaurants in this area and the fact that it's Four Season's. I got my Chicken Tortilla salad for about $30 and my boyfriend got his burger for about the same amount. They were both average in flavor, nothing extraordinary. Maybe we didn't choose the right meals. In my opinion, I think you should just save your money and go back to eat better food in Maui. If you're staying in Lanai, I'm not sure if there's many other options so this may be it for you. read more

Legendary hospitality and a well mixed cocktail, I am always delighted with what I find at a resort of this caliber. -The lava flows aren't bad, either. The best surprise was that my other half had ordered something cool and sweet to go with that drink while I was washing up. An order of the saffron sorbet. The coconut milk on top was a frozen tasty treat! I was not expecting that! It was a fun surprise in my mouth. One of the best meals I had on Lanai. Get the papaya and burrata salad, the grass fed beef burger, and the skirt steak sandwich. All delicious and juicy. Produce is very fresh as well. Only downside is that it's expensive (entrees in high $20's and drinks are $17), but it is in the Four Seasons after all. Only open for lunch (and they serve the food for the pool too).
