Visited Tikehau Lounge with some friends on a weekday evening for cocktails after dinner. We were greeted by a friendly face and promptly seated in the outdoor section. We did get a peek indoors as we walked through. The space was dimly lit, well-decorated with trendy patterns and furniture, and overall, inviting. The outdoor patio, in contrast, was more well-lit but still comfortable. The cocktail menu was fun to explore and our server did not hesitate to offer suggestions. I ordered the Pandan Killer Milk punch, which is 8yr aged rum, Planteray Cut & dry rum, pandan liquer, clarified coconut, pineapple, vanilla, lime, and nutmeg. I was truly blown away! It's simple presentation was deceitful in the best way possible. All flavors were beautifully captured and left nothing else to be desired. The Pina Colada on the other hand....my friend felt extremely underwhelmed. The other two cocktails we had in the party were the Ultra Violet Seventy Five, which was very gin-forward and the Snoop PPOG, both of which were thoroughly enjoyed. I think I would've had an emotional breakdown if it weren't for this place. What are the chances we choose to do a Maui trip during the longest, wettest, windiest, and coldest 2 weeks that the islands have ever had. Fortunately Tikehau came through. We were staying across the street at the AC Marriott, so we could walk when the weather permitted. But this immediately became our watering hole. Dominic and Donna were just 2 of the amazing staff that kept us quenched. Mari and Kayla also were very hospitable. DRINKS were the best on Maui hands down. We're tried everything on the menu (except for a couple of the high roller libations). All winners. They even would sub out spirit bases when we were feeling adventurous (mezcal for tequila etc.) FOOD was also great. Top notch Poke bowl, but the beef bowl took the trophy. They also have a seasonal menu for specialty drinks and food items. Pork bao buns were on that, and we got a ton of those. On purpose. NO KIDS was also refreshing since it was spring break. 100% a 5 star spot. We will never forget Tikehau and we will be going back every time we visit Maui! read more

Plenty of parking. Came for happy hour. 2-5pm daily. Might be crowded later in the day, but on a Tuesday at 2:30 only a few people. Ordered the cannon ball, upgraded with the ovenproof rum. Quite tart with the lilikoi . Not something I would usually get , but figured to try a local drink. . Wife got the Mai tai and onion dip. I prefer the Mai Tai from monkey pod , to either of the drinks from tikehau . My wife preferred tikehau. So ymmv. But can't beat the price, $10! read more

Happened to stumble upon this place while pulling into the parking lot and I thought it's happy hour, let's go have a drink. They have an indoor seating area and bar and some tables that are outside but well covered. Great service by our waitress as they had a couple of happy hour co rails, $5 Maui brewing beer, and sone happy hour food options. I was trying to to decide between the Mai tai and the Rum cannonball. Our waitress told me the cannonball is only something you can get there and so I picked that one. The drink was delicious and refreshing and strong. It was actually a slushie and beautifully decorated too. They even have zero proof liquor so your friends that don't drink alcohol an also enjoy. Lots of food options but I didn't order any so I can't comment on them other than what I saw on others tables looked good. I definitely will come back here the next time I have a chance. read more

Each time I go here, I am reminded how much I like it. It is difficult to get a good margarita on island and this is one of the winners! Each small plate is delicious. Special mention to the pork sliders, hummus and potato chips and onion dip! I always go midday, so it is not crowded. Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and it ended up being such a fun night! The vibe at TikiHau is already great, but they had a guest bartender from Tiki's in Wailuku that night which made it feel extra special. The whole place had that laid-back island lounge energy perfect for celebrating and catching up with friends. Food wise, everything was fresh and delicious. The ahi tuna sashimi was super clean and buttery, and the shrimp ceviche was bright, citrusy, and full of flavor. I loved the lettuce cups. Definitely perfect light bites for sharing while hanging out. I'm currently not drinking, but honestly you wouldn't even notice because their mocktails are so good. I had the Pink Moon and the Surf's Up, and both were super refreshing and beautifully made. It's always a win when a place puts just as much effort into their zero-proof drinks as the cocktails. Best bar on island. Hands down. Dominic, Mari, Donna, Daniel and Kayla all made each visit we made so special. The drinks were killer, so unique and delicious. The pandan milk punch was much personal favorite, but each drink we tried was delicious. ( and after 6 visits we got to try them all). Food also was delicious, the onion dip and poke were the favorites. But also the kahlbi, and the hummus. Bottom line no matter what food or drink you get, you won't be disappointed. Fantastic cocktail lounge in Kihei. We stopped by only for drinks and this place is such a vibe. You can see locals and tourists mingle and have a great time. We ordered their famous Mai Tai (trust me its the BEST on the island), banana stand (deserty cocktail), Thousand Peaks (fabulous) and another slushy cocktail but dont recollect the name. You can order cocktail and I am sure it will be amazing. The servers and bartender were fun and happy to accomodate any suggestions. Loved this place and highly recommend all their cocktails. Please never take that milk punch off the menu. The Pearl Diver was a bit of a splurge, but totally worth it, and I loved hearing the story behind it from Mari. Cocktails and tropics go better together than bread and butter, perhaps even better than vodka and pickles. There is just something genuinely magical about a cold drink diluting the Maui heat of the day and evaporating as steam through every pore of the body. Tikehau is located in an obscure strip mall in Wailea village and while the location may not beautiful from the exterior (strip malls are the sample of everything that isn't beautiful), it surpasses all expectations inside. A gorgeous quaint and tropical design that is tasteful without being tacky. The people working the bar are kind and the owner happened to be there the night of the visit. If there is one must try cocktail here it is certainly the Peaks. The foamy wave on top of the drink and the surfboard attached, served in an extra tall stem glass is just a piece of art when it comes to cocktails. Other selections like the Mai tai and the local selection of agave spirits is spectacular. This is a small, family run business and it's just an absolute pleasure to give money to a place like this, in exchange receiving kindness and one of a kind cocktail creations. read more

We stopped in here for Happy Hour this week because we love trying new tiki bars. The place is located in the Wailea Shopping Center near the Lahaina Brewing Company and is an easy walk from the Grand Champions Villas and Wailea Resort hotel. The 1944 Mai Tai (not included in the Happy Hour menu), made with Kuleana Hui Hui Rum, Appleton 8 Year, Worthy Park 109 Dark, Dry Curacao and Macadamia Nut Orgeat was truly one of the best Mai Tais I've enjoyed on my Mai Tai tasting journey over the years. A thousand times better than the Monkeypod Mai Tai, which is highly overrated. Another standout with the sesame ahi slider. At just $7, it was a great value and absolutely delicious. The creamy wasabi slaw and soft and sweet Hawaiian roll was a perfect compliment. The ahi was seared perfectly. Service was awesome, and our bartender was kind and helpful. The only reason I'm giving four stars is because it's not quite "Tiki" enough with the current decor and music but they are off to a good start! I'd suggest darkening up the place and getting more decorations, but I know this takes time and money. read more

Located right in the heart of Wailea, this is the perfect spot to grab a drink before dinner. The Calamansi Dream is hands down one of the best cocktails I've ever had. It was so good that we went back multiple times before heading home. The combination of vanilla and citrus was absolute perfection, and I am still thinking about it. The decor and ambience are fantastic, and elevated without feeling overdone. Every server we interacted with was incredibly sweet and took great care of us, which made the experience even better. I would go back over and over again and highly recommend this spot to anyone staying in or visiting Wailea. read more

Tikehau is such a cool spot. It's a cocktail bar that also offers food, and everything I've experienced there has been amazing. I went for their Omakase night, which was a really unique and delicious experience, and I've also stopped by a few times just for cocktails and live music. The service is always top-notch, and the cocktails are perfectly balanced, creative, and consistently interesting. The only thing I would change is the volume of the music when they have a DJ -- it can get a little too loud inside, even though the DJ is outside, and it makes it hard to have a conversation at your table. But overall, Tikehau is a great place to relax, enjoy some incredible drinks, and soak in the vibe. read more

Cute spot tucked away in a smaller strip mall type area with decent parking. Server was attentive helpful and friendly. I really liked the vibe here too.
