But the sandwich itself was good and fresh and had quality ingredients. We also ordered tater tots and there was more than enough for 2 people maybe even 2 people. The sandwich and tater tots were about $20, which is not bad for the area. There's some bar stool seating indoors, but seating is limited. They don't sell shaved ice here anymore as some reviews were saying they do.

If you shop the deals/sales it's pretty comparable to the mainland. Definitely stop by for your essentials when visiting lanai!

They've been in operation since 1946 and are located on Dole Square where many of the island's businesses are concentrated. They offer a variety of fresh produce, meat, seafood, and pantry items. They also have a selection of prepared foods, gourmet wine, a poke counter and sundries. I came for the snacks (of course) and settled on their spam musubi. I don't know what they put in their musubi, but that thing was DELICIOUS! The rice is seasoned along with the spam and both together are a homerun. My only regret was only getting one :( All in all, this is a good place to stop and stock up on snacks, drinks, and other items.

We also had the burrata at Osteria Mozza, and I thought that burrata here was on par (and, a lot less $). The views are spectacular, and so is the service. Edna was our waiter for both visits, and she was great! My husband casually mentioned that one of his favorite fruits in Hawaii was apple bananas, and that he was bummed that there weren't any in the market downtown. A couple moments later, Edna presented us with two apple bananas! What a treat. It's gestures like this that really make staying at the Four Seasons so special. This deli is located in a strip mall and is bigger inside than it looks from the outside. On one side they have the ordering area with a beverage cooler, a display case, and hats for sale with their logo. The other side has seating and can probably fit around 30 to 40 people. For lunch on this day I went with the chicken pesto panini while my father went with a hot dog with mustard and sauerkraut. The menu described my sandwich as chicken breast, sun dried tomato, toasted pine nuts, provolone, and pesto spread, and my father's simply as sauerkraut and mustard. It was busy when we were there, so it took about 10 minutes to order and another 15 minutes for the food to come out. Since we ordered separately, my food came out first and even though I planned to wait, I had enough time to eat it while waiting for my dad's. The chicken pesto panini ended up being quite good. The chicken was moist and flavorful and there was more than enough cheese. The sun dried tomatoes added a nice pop of flavor, although I wish there had been more. My favorite part was the pesto spread and pine nuts, especially the garlicky flavor from the pesto. My dad also thought his hot dog was good. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I enjoyed my sandwich and my dad enjoyed his hot dog, so I would be interested in trying more of the menu.
