This review is for an on-line delivery order. I discovered this product line, Malin + Goetz a few years ago when I rented a short term condo rental in Philadelphia. They supplied this product for bathroom use and it won me over. Immediately smelling the gentle scent in the bathroom was very pleasing, subtle and not overpowering. Yet it is easily one I can live with all the time, and I'm not big on scents. The fragrance that attracted me is "rum" and interesting in that it doesn't particularly smell like rum to me, more fresh and not heavy. Using the web site to navigate a purchase is simple and very user friendly. I had an account already so that did help. Placing my order was as easy as one, two, three...done. They immediately confirmed the order. I purchased two pump bottles of the "rum" hand and body wash and one bottle of the "bergamot" with subtle citrus overtones and keep both options for guests in a main bath if and when guests ever return! From a previous order I also keep a pump bottle of the vitamin b5 body lotion, not greasy and easy to apply. I also purchased a "rum" candle that I intend to use in the main part of the house to replicate that sensuous scent from Philadelphia. Great product. The only downside, and I don't blame them entirely, is they use FedEx and my package transversed back and forth across the United States before finally arriving after many days of waiting.

FIVE STARS for Malin + Goetz New York!!! I am already a HUGE M+G fan because I've been shopping at their Los Angeles and Bloomingdales locations! I'm here visiting New York and realized that I'm staying only 3-4 blocks away from the original NY location! After sight seeing, I rushed down to the store to see if there was anything new being offered at the store. I was very professionally and warmly greeted by salesperson, Justin. He asked several questions about my skincare routine and suggested a few items. I eventually ended up buying the Ingrown Hair Creme and a Malin + Goetz navy blue shirt!!! I'm a HUGE M+G fan becasue their products are the ones that started me up on my facial care routine. They have great products, reasonable prices, and fun items! http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/malin-goetz-new-york?select=nP3_3qmpiNwOerL9AELpjw#nP3_3qmpiNwOerL9AELpjw http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/malin-goetz-new-york?select=nCTTIeg8-JEk-ExsuFYzEQ#wtRNoNlica2qHa_u3pYgWg http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/malin-goetz-new-york?select=nCTTIeg8-JEk-ExsuFYzEQ#qr7FUTV99ZOM-uL0mPvEkA LOVED the vibe at this store, as it is very cool. Justin made it a great buying experience! Fun to shop here! I'm forever a huge Malin + Goetz fan! My favorite products include Facial Serum and Replentishing Facial Creme. A must have for every guy! Apparently this is normal with their products.

I'm not happy with Malin and Goetz Customer Service. I contacted them (and sent photos) of the travel kit I purchased which cracked and leaked in my suitcase. The response was: This product remains one of our most popular and I have only received a few complaints regarding the caps. Unfortunately, the air pressure can cause the flip top to open during flight. Once the inner seal is removed, the top flip cap should be secured to ensure it doesn't pop open during transit. Once I responded with checking my first e-mail again (that the top CRACKED), I received this: this is one of our most popular products. The complaints we have regarding broken caps are very, very few and all have been associated with over tightening and or repeated removal and replacement of the cap. Not helpful whatsoever. Shouldn't a travel kit be sturdy enough not to crack in a suitcase? This has actually happened with the regular sized shampoo/conditioner bottles as well. Won't be purchasing from them if they tell their customers that damaged tops are normal if you open the bottle and tighten it too many times.

Bought a product and was offered LOTS of samples!

I first became very aware of Malin + Goetz products after my boyfriend got a haircut at Made Man nearby and they used M+G pomade in his hair. The next day, we ventured out to this Chelsea M+G store and purchased a jar of it ($20). The service here is what really stood out. We were greeted immediately and asked if we needed any help and the staff was all smiles from when we stepped in the door to when we stepped out. They even went as far as to tell us the door was a pull and not a push - maybe lots of people have issues around this for some reason or another. The nice lady behind the register asked if we wanted any samples and anyone who knows me well knows I love samples! After leaving the store, I looked in the bag and found a separate bag full, and I mean FULL, of samples (see picture). They were generous enough to give us literally two of every product they have in the store. I've already tried the jojoba face scrub and I'm loving it already. Will definitely be back to buy other products.

HOLY GRAIL! Love their lip moisturizer ! Totally different from any other lip moisturizer I had before. I tried many products, like Kiehl's, Bee's and SK-II and Clinique. None of them worked or long-lasting. They are easily to get oily if you apply a little bit too much over your lips. Fortunately I found out this product on Bloomingdales. They had a advanced technology called " fat tech" , which will pump up your lip and smooth your lips and long-lasting.

I don't usually rate stuff other than restaurant on Yelp. But the gentlemen who chatted with us were absolutely worth being praised. Warm, welcome, no pushing attitude. Told us how this store is actually an alley that doesn't have street number. At the end of purchase, they always give you great amount of samples. I think I'll buy something for myself next time.

I walked into a space that covers a lot of ground, from snacks and drinks to beauty products, home goods, and collectibles, and the density of what is on display makes it easy to spend more time browsing than I planned. The snack selection is the strongest draw and covers an impressive range. I saw Asian versions of familiar American snacks sitting alongside Japanese and Korean originals, and the drink section downstairs is broad enough that finding something I have not tried before is a near certainty. The variety of drinks, many with anime or character branding, reflects a buying approach that goes beyond the standard convenience store selection. The beauty and skincare section upstairs is well stocked with Korean and Japanese brands that are not widely available at American drugstores. I browsed through everything from face wash to sheet masks and specialty treatments, and the prices are competitive for imported products of this type. Blind boxes occupy their own significant section, and the selection across different series is one of the better in the city, with reasonable pricing relative to what the same items cost at specialty toy stores. Home goods, toys, collectibles, and kawaii accessories fill the remaining floor space. For a one stop shop for Korean and Japanese lifestyle goods, snacks, and beauty products in Koreatown, TESO Life delivers a broad and browsable experience that rewards repeat visits.

Right after they charged me, the order was canceled with the excuse that I had requested the cancellation, which is absolutely false. I never canceled anything. Since then, my money has been in dispute because: The company does not respond to emails. They only send automated messages saying someone will get in touch with me, but no one ever does. Meanwhile, MELIO claims that they already sent the money to the seller and is now asking me to either pay again or provide my card number so they can try to charge me again. Absolutely not! This is robbery. I should not have to lose my money like this. And who is going to compensate me for the damage? This situation is unacceptable. I have already reported this case to: My credit card company The Better Business Bureau The appropriate authorities here in California These two companies are working together to scam people. They are shameless thieves. Be careful!

I walked into a store that is essentially one large room, and the density of product on display meant navigating it during a busy period required some patience, but the selection within that compact space was broader than the size suggested. The Korean literature section covers both Korean language and English language editions across a range of genres, which makes it genuinely useful for anyone studying the language or looking for titles that are difficult to find at general bookstores in the city. I saw children's books in Korean, well stocked. The K pop side of the store covers albums, photocards, posters, keychains, stickers, and merchandise across a wide range of artists, with BTS having a particularly strong presence historically alongside newer groups. Pricing runs higher than what I would pay ordering online or finding the same items at a larger retailer, which is the standard trade off for a specialty shop in Manhattan. Album prices in particular can be steep, though sale events bring them down to more competitive territory. Individual accessory items like stickers and bookmarks are priced at a premium relative to their size, so going in with a sense of what I am willing to spend helps avoid sticker shock at the register. The store is a reliable stop for anyone looking for Korean books or K pop merchandise in a physical retail setting in New York, with the caveat that the pricing and the crowd level are both factors worth knowing about before I go.
