First time here since the change in ownership. The pad thai has really good flavor, better than in New Hampshire --so I will be headed here. The beef salad was solid with good quality meat (no fat, I've had fatty beef at other thai places). Definitely will be headed back. read more

Ordered takeout on Saturday evening. Food was ready right on time and the staff inside were very welcoming. The Pad Thai tofu mild was well spiced, even a touch on the spicy side. There's no other way to describe their fresh rolls than "fresh." They were accompanied by a bright dressing that complemented them nicely. We will definitely order here again. read more

Best in the area for Thai. Their soups, green coconut chicken curry and lo mein are my personal favorites. I could eat there several times a week! The food is very fresh, the spices are perfect and the portions ample and the man and wife owners are lovely. Don't get turned off by the location (a tired strip mall) because inside the place is alive with flavor and a great menu and an excellent chef. It is busier and busier every time I go! Fantastic Thai food, great customer service and comfortable quiet dining room. My wife and I have eaten at all of the other local Thai restaurants and I think this is the best in area. Prices are lower than competition also. Owner made us hot Thai tea when we stopped in on a very cold night and she didn't even charge us for it. She also included free rice for our leftovers. The most authentic Thai food I've ever had in the area! I live in NYC and this is on par with the full flavors you get at any legit Thai restaurant there. The owner is so nice! The one negative is the restroom was dirty - it's worth noting that it's a restroom that's shared with the rest of the plaza. But I do want a clean experience anywhere I'm eating. read more

This is the best Thai food on the seacoast. The food is always fresh, and everything tastes great. Don't let the location throw you - it's in an odd sort of run down strip mall, which made me a little worried the first time I went there, but the restaurant is super clean. I usually get takeout, but they do have a small casual dining area, which again, is very clean and tidy. The prices are reasonable, too. read more

After getting a glowing recommendation from a friend, we were excited to try a new Thai restaurant for take out after eating home cooked quarantine meals for far too long. We were not disappointed. The menu is not huge, but tailored toward quality dishes. There's a nice selection of vegan options, and it's great to be able to choose salmon or scallops in addition to shrimp when you want seafood in your curry or noodle dish. The Massamun curry was top notch, with zucchini as a unique veggie in the dish. The yellow curry was very creamy and flavorful, with fresh pineapple. We asked for the currys to be spicy, which turned out to be perfect for us, but you may want to go medium if you prefer a tamer dish. I got the brown/wild rice which was unique and yummy. We also got a delicious chicken sate with a not-too-sweet peanut sauce. We felt very safe picking up the food, with a newly added counter to the outside that's draped in plastic, with an appropriately socially distant but very friendly woman in a mask and gloves who carefully handed us our bag. We are thrilled to find such wonderful and tasty Thai food so close by and look forward to making Mali's Thai Zap a regular part of our take-out repertoire. read more

This is a weekly staple for me! I love all their curry dishes (I get tofu, as I am a vegetarian). I also enjoy the pad Thai and drunken noodles. Portions are great, and there is always enough for lunch the next day. The owner is so sweet, and after a while she remembered me, almost never have to say my name anymore. They are accurate with the wait times given on the phone, and sometimes there can be a wait, but everything is so fresh and worth it! The exterior is rather unassuming, but it's what and who's inside that have made me a regular! read more

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner with my mother and daughter. I travel for work and frequently eat Thai all over the country and the food at Mali's is as good as any I have had anywhere. Don't let the outside appearance (an old strip mall) fool you the inside is very nice and clean. Service is excellent and the prices reasonable. The satay was good but the peanut sauce was fantastic. My mother had the Tamarind Duck which was incredible. I had the panang curry and my daughter had the massaman curry. Both were excellent. The only downside is that they do not open until 3:00 PM so lunch is out. If you enjoy good Thai do yourself a favor and stop in. You won't regret it. read more

We were looking for a recommended Chinese restaurant on Elm Street and drove right by it. We turned into this small group of buildings to turn around and noticed that one of the storefronts was Mali's Thai. Very unassuming storefront, but we thought, hey, we really like Thai, so lets give it a go. Once we entered, we found a cozy, very clean and comfortable restaurant with very friendly waitstaff. What a pleasant surprise! We ordered Thai rolls and they were awesome, just the right amount of crispiness and the ingredients were so fresh. Scallion Pancakes, they make them just right..not too thick not to thin, just right and they were also awesome. On to Chicken Basil and Shrimp Drunken noodles. The Chicken Basil had so many fresh ingredients and just the right heat. But, boy did we love the drunken noodles, a good spicy sauce, they were delicious. This just became our go to Thai restaurant, we will be back often! read more

Back again last night. Food was awesome! Asked for extra heat in papaya salad and I got the 8 red peppers I requested in both heat and actual red peppers in the salad - wow!! Veggie spring roll and tofu soup additions to our first visit order were great. Hot Thai tea is always complimentary. We again asked for the Golden Elephant brown rice in our pineapple fried rice - wonderful flavor. The salmon was pan crisped this time and was spectacular. Great vegetarian selections.
