Awful customer service and terrible service department. Don't trust these people with your car. I called after being stranded by my parents' 2017 Ford Fusion and being forced to have the car towed there, as it was the closest Ford dealership. I received mediocre service that day. They couldn't be bothered to have anyone on staff to assist with getting a loaner or rental under my parents' Ford protection plan, but you can bet they had salesman there! Every question I asked, they didn't know. I literally had to call a different Ford dealership to get answers. I was concerned after that, but I had hoped the service department would be fine. Things only went downhill from there. The car was starting in the parking lot, but wouldn't shift out of park. It would immediately go back to park when trying to shift to drive. There was an error message stating "shift system fault" or something to that effect. When I looked that up both online and in the manual, it said to contact a Ford service center. It appeared that something was going on with the transmission or shifting electronics from what I read. I called my preferred dealership (not Malloy) and they agreed that given the message, it was something that wouldn't be able to be fixed in the parking lot, thus the tow truck. Monday rolled around and Malloy looked at the car. They advised that it was a simple fix: a new battery! I expressed my frustration that a tow truck had to be called for something like that, since I could have jumped the car and avoided all this headache. I expressed my disbelief multiple times that a battery caused the "shift system fault" error. Paul at Malloy insisted that it's common and they see it all the time, and assured me multiple times that it was the issue. I did additional research and found that this can happen, but it's actually rare, not common as he had stated. There's normally something else going on for that error message to appear, but there is a possibility that the low voltage did cause it. Since Paul was so confident that the issue was fixed with a new battery, I took my dad to the dealership to pay and pick the car up. The VERY next day, the same exact thing happened. My parents received the "shift system fault" error. They immediately called me, as they are elderly and I handle a lot of their affairs for them. They also needed me to leave work to come pick them up, since the car was messing up yet again. I immediately called Malloy to inform them that they were incorrect about the battery and to express my frustration that I tried to tell them I didn't believe it was the battery before. Paul didn't even apologize. He said "bring the car back." He didn't care that it wasn't fixed the first time, even after I called to have a conversation with him about why I didn't believe it was the battery. He didn't care that this would involve another tow truck bill. He never even apologized until I told him how livid I was that he couldn't even say sorry for this. Paul also started being petty and spiteful by saying that he won't talk to me because the car isn't in my name. Seriously? What kind of top secret car info is he planning to give out? This was AFTER he called my mother who told him to call me!!! How outrageous is that? I was also transferred to David, who I believe is the service manager. I left a voicemail for him explaining the situation this morning and asked him to call me back asap. I waited all day, but he couldn't be bothered to call me back. I did not have the car towed again to this dealership after all this, and I don't suggest that anyone buy from or use this dealership for service. If you have to use a Ford dealership for anything, Madison Ford is your best bet. Madison Ford didn't even have the car, and they went above and beyond to answer all of my questions about the car itself (the error message), the protection plan, and the logistics of getting it towed. The difference in the way I was treated when asking the exact same questions at these two dealerships was night and day. Avoid Malloy at all costs. read more

Terrible ethics at the dealership. I took my truck into their service center for a diagnostic test. Told them what I knew from my tests, I told them it wasn't building oil pressure when starting hot, which means a oil pressure leak. They told me a detailed diagnostic would be $130, so I brought it in. I also wanted the factory lock code for keypad. They called me and told me what I had told them, about the oil leak and they wanted another $500 dollars to find out the location, meaning chasing it down by dismantling the engine. I asked them to give me an estimated possible repair cost from the known possible repairs. They did not want to give me numbers, they wanted a go ahead to tear into the engine just to find an oil leak. This is absolutely nuts, any other shop would quote $1,500 for high pressure pump, or $1,000 for STC fittings or whatever. I can't stress enough how predatory it is, unleashing an unlimited repair cost, you give them permission and now they have you in a headlock. When I said no, I was charged $130 for diagnosis to tell me what I told them, and $30 for reading the current door lock code, which I asked for the factory code. I've called them multiple times and been told they would call me twice now and I have yet to receive a call over the course of several days. This place is majorly unethical and I don't trust them at all. I highly recommend never go to this place. It pains me greatly to write this review in large part because the experience my partner and I encountered during the search for a new car, may have been one of the worst car sales experiences I've had thus far. Prior to coming to the dealership, we had been corresponding over email with a sales woman at Malloy's about a price that had been quoted online regarding a specific vehicle at the dealership. During the email correspondence, my partner mentioned the rebates he qualified for as well as the intended loan type he would like. Even after this, it was indicated that the price would remain the same. Based on this email exchange and the price point we then drove to the dealership to speak with the sales woman first hand about the vehicle. During our initial in-person conversation with the same sales woman we inquired again, if this was the price for the vehicle, to which we were led to believe it was. We proceeded to test drive the vehicle, discuss tentative finance options, etc., during which the sales women we worked with was knowledgeable about the vehicle, amicable, and pleasant to work with. However, when we sat down to review final costs we found that the original price we had discussed had increased exponentially from the initial online quote (a couple thousand more). Since this was considerably outside of our desired price point, my partner communicated to the sales woman that we planned to leave. The sales woman then asked if she could have another chance to work with us on the numbers to which we agreed. We then waited while she conferred with a gentleman in their finance department, to which he then came and sat down across from us at the sales desk while the sales woman stood behind him. My partner again, explained that the new price was out of the range we were looking for and that we were going to look elsewhere. The finance associate then pointedly told us that the online cost was a reflection of special rebates and deals that were in the fine print on the website. Bear in mind that up until this point the sales associate even after corresponding with us via email and again in-person had not disclosed that the fine print discounts were completely ineligible to us, even after my partner had asked if the price would remain the same and provided her with information regarding what rebates, loans, etc. he was eligible for. While the price point was in-fact a point of contention, it was more the lack of immediate disclosure on behalf of the dealership that was deeply troublesome especially after there had been ample opportunity for them to do so before we even sat down with the finance associate. Lastly, the way we were treated once we expressed that we would look elsewhere was downright disrespectful. Not only did the finance associate attempt to strong arm us by manipulating the conversation to indicate that when we had said "We're good [we're leaving]" to imply that we were "good" to accept the ludicrous price change, etc., he proceeded to loudly repeat phrases and ask questions rapidly in an attempt to keep us at the table. The whole ordeal was extremely taxing, stressful, and completely unnecessary. Had the associates communicated the online price stipulations with the vehicle in question without attempting to shroud it till the very end, it would have saved both parties time and effort. i purchased a 2015 ford mustang from malloy ford of Charlottesville. they shipped the car down from Alexandria for me. upon seeing the car i saw the tires were low on tread. 3/32s on the outer shoulder and 4/32s on the inner shoulders of both front tires. Eric was the sales manager at the time. he offered to sell me two tires before i even signed the paper work. not via the sales dept paying for it via a we owe, but me the customer pay for it. the DOT number on the tires indicated theyre from 2015 and rolled off the assembly line with the car. after showing the photos to Eric on how dry rotted they were he finally replaced them. but like Billy mays said but wait theres more! the passenger seat was so loose the whole assembly could be shaken by hand. low and behold the seat bolts were finger loose. brought it up to eric and he got that fixed as well. this is where it gets great. the car had a sticker on the window for 2 months up north that advertised the car as having heated seats. when i went to replace the seat cover because malloy hired someone who over sprayed on my seat belt buckles and left my seats loose. i noticed the seat covers came up as black. but the seats are a milled pebble color... the car came with recaros (all black leather) yet somehow theyre advertising this car with heated seats. their fall back is another company makes the window stickers for them. and that they never advertised it with those options in cville. that stickers fine print apparently covers omissions from that sheet.... omissions would info withheld not falsely advertised. hence the definition of the word.... when a company needs to fall back on the fine print cause their sales model is that of Mathilda's father from the movies then you know something's wrong mistakes happen in any industry/business but this many in a row aren't mistakes. they are lack of integrity and work ethic. When I come to a dealer to get copies of my paper work I shouldn't be met with so much hostility for asking to get copy's. Of paperwork they're required to give me if I ask. And keep on file for 5 years. I asked for two papers and had a sales manager attempting to explain omissions to me. I didn't even ask to speak to him. I asked for two papers and had to hear bs about how I lost them. I could lose those papers every week and they still have to keep them on file. read more

After being screwed over by my Ford dealership in San Diego, I went on a country-wide search for a 2016 GT350 with my preferred color combination and track pack options. I began speaking with Justin from Malloy Ford in early January (2016). He was extremely communicative and prompt in his responses to my questions and concerns. We were able to hammer out a deal over the phone and within 48 hours, I had all the paperwork sitting at my doorstep. Over the next 7 days, we got everything finalized and Justin (with the help of the rest of the Malloy team) got my car loaded up on a car hauler headed from VA to CA. My car arrived perfectly and was followed shortly thereafter by my copies of all the paperwork. Overall, this was one of the smoothest new vehicle purchases that I have ever been a part of, and even with conducting business 3 time zones and 2500 miles away, I felt that I was being taken care of through the entire process. read more

He found the car for us then worked hard to make the deal we wanted. He made us feel like friends instead of just a sale. I would recommend looking to him for your new or used car needs. 5 stars for sales. Be prepared when visiting for service. They are busy even if you make an appointment plan to be here a while. We enjoyed working with Kevin on the purchase of our Ford Edge!! However I have never seen such incompetence as we have experienced in the service department. It has been most distressing. We made an appointment for 10 am but they didn't look at it until 2:00pm We were told it was delayed because of WALK-INs...seriously...why make an appointment?? We were told to come get it at 4:30 It wasn't done until 5:30 We wanted to get paperwork done 1.5 hours When we went to inspect the car. The passenger side door panel was falling off as well as the wiring cover panel on the door. We had to pay full price for an Item (door handle) $400+that should have been covered under the 100k mile additional bumper to bumper warranty that we are paying for. But after been told they couldn't find out warranty. They finally found it by talking with the finance people after a voice mail and several calls. Then after calling the warranty people were told they were in a meeting that would take another hour so we would need to call back tomorrow. We had to tell them to change the oil (2 times)even when it was on the original notes from when we made the appointment last week. We are still here after the second try in the shop to get the door panel installed correctly The panel is tweaked where a tecky tried to rip it off with a set screw still in place. I did find someone that is trying to help but he is not supported on either side bumpy the shop or upper management No loaner vehicle so my wife can get home. We will not buy another car here because of the service department. A company is only as strong as its weakest link. There are some serious weak links here. Anyone want to trade in a nice 2013 Ford Edge on another Vehicle that is backed by an exceptional service department...your up. read more

My initial experience with this dealership back in 2016 purchasing my truck was extremely painful. They were still over on Pantops at the time. Since then I have had two great experiences with their service dept. Took my truck in today for a service and an Active Track warning issue. Vicky was amazing with her service! She took the time to look up all of my warranty options, along with advising me the best way to use my last few visits on my service plan. Along with that, she took care of the master cylinder recall issue for me. I know they were slammed with customers today, but she went the extra mile to help me out. They have come a long way since my first experience, keep up the great work! And thank you Vicky for your incredible service today! read more

Service representative Tom Lincoln needs some serious training. His bad attitude and lack of care in his work and how he speaks/explains things to customers was apparent at not 1, but 2 visits to the service department. His only skill is passing things along to his colleague, Jennifer Shipp - who is always at lunch. As a minority female, I certainly do not appreciate getting barked at, talked down to or having this horrible person mansplaining things to me. At the very least, treat people with respect, especially your customers. Also, if you are going to wear a mask - WEAR IT! Don't have it on sitting below your chin, useless. The Service Department ruins any love for the Ford product. Customer service is nonexistent. No follow-up on vehicle progress, ridiculous wait times, they can never fix an issue without having you come back multiple times, rude receptionist, not to mention, the huge employee turnover where the excuse is always "I'm new here." My 2011 Toyota Corolla was towed to Malloy Ford on February 21, 2017. I had hit a median while avoiding a large board in the road, but was able to drive home. I am insured by State Farm, and was told that this was one of their select places, where I would receive the best and quickest service. This was absolutely not the case!!! After my car was towed there early on a Tuesday afternoon, I attempted to make contact with the body shop several times. Once I was able to reach someone, I was promised a call back, which I never received. More concerned than ever, I decided to stop by there on the following Friday morning. I was told that they were sorry, but hadn't called me back because they had nothing to tell me. My car had not even been looked at yet. Again, I was promised a call by later that afternoon, which did not occur. I contacted State Farm several times and complained about the lack of communication with this bodyshop and expressed how uncomfortable I was with my car in their hands. I felt they were dishonest with me from the beginning, and that we had no customer service relationship whatsoever. I finally began to get updates from State Farm only, as there was no point in wasting my time calling them for information. Finally, on March !0th, I was assured by a State Farm Rep, that my car was repairable, and that Malloy would be beginning work as soon as they received the parts, with an estimated completion date of March 23rd, (8 days). Still, I was uncomfortable, with not having contact with the shop myself. On Monday March 20, I was so very excited about getting my car back, and wanted to check with the shop about their hours and make plans for returning my rental car. Also, to check on how work was going. I made a special trip over there to verify everything was on track. I was assured everything was going well and that my car would be ready by Thursday by 5:00 pm, and that they only had to order some extra bolts. I thanked her, and drove home, and then found a message on my phone, which was from State Farm. Unbelievably, I was told my car was now a total loss, ONLY 3 DAYS BEFORE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE REPAIRED AND PICKED UP!!!!! Turns out, the day before, they found more damage?? Really? Now my car needs 2 new bolts and a new transmission? I do not believe this because it was only a minor accident in which I was able to drive home. And secondly, why didn't they see this before? This nightmare began on Feb 21st and is still ongoing. I have never been so stressed out and disappointed in my life. Having my car for over a month, and they have done nothing but lie to me and waste my time. I only wish I had my car taken somewhere else, such as Cosner Bros , who never let me down. I was always in the loop with them. I never delt with a shop that didn't communicate to their own customer. If I was paying cash, I would have had my car towed anywhere else after week two. read more

Malloy Ford service department is as dishonest as they get. They don't deserve not one star. I bought a 2018 Ford Edge that had a broken air conditioning vent. I was promised by sales that it would be fixed on them and all I needed to do was make an appointment. I made the appointment, dropped off my vehicle on a Sunday night. Similar to some other reviews I read, I had no updates from anyone. Four days later, I'm calling and demanding knowing what is going on with my car. I had to make at least 12 calls, because every time I was transferred no one picked up the phone. After much persistence, I finally got through to someone and informed my car service was not even started. So, I demanded for them to leave the part in my car and I would have someone else service it. So when I got there, I was told the part was on back order. Seriously, they lied through their teeth. These guys suck, and I suggest to all to STAY CLEAR AWAY from Malloy Ford. read more

Three and a half years now with the help from some family I got a 2012 Ford Fusion that I still have and love my car. My mother had her eye on a 2011 Focus but when I went to check it out it had sold which looking back I'm glad because I've had Focus hatch back models as a rental and felt cramped. My neighbors/very close friends have bought several vehicles from Malloy and probably the last one or so names it's been and gave me the name of the salesman they use, Butch. I went by met Butch and although I didn't know if I was for sure getting a car since I was driving across the mountain a lot for two of my jobs I didn't want anything more than six years old. Long story short my mother and I get a pretty good deal on a Fusion that Butch suggested that met the price range but there was only one key included and because we got such a great price they said they couldn't get us another key. Maybe because I wasn't the one putting up money up front or knew for sure I'd get a car I wasn't thrilled with Butch. He was nice but I would have rather bought this car from the salesman my mother and I spoke to at Colonial about another car but this one was a better deal. I love Ford vehicles but I'm not gungho about Malloy. Malloy Ford Collision Center: ***** (5 big stars) Fast forward to June 2019 while doing a project at Charlottesville Tractor Supply for one of my jobs my father was using my car and was up the road at Food Lion when an elderly lady hit the passenger side. Her insurance fixed my car and one of their preferred body shops (or whatever Progressive Insurance calls it, my insurance calls it Blue Ribbon) where the work is guaranteed for as long as I have the car was Malloy Ford Collision Center. I decided to take my car there over the other two preferred shops or anywhere else. The lady's insurance agent set the appointment for the day and time I requested and when I dropped it off Mike Fisher (not sure if his title) heard me tell the receptionist Fusion, took me to his area, I signed a paper and then I was on my way to Enterprise. A few hours later the adjuster called me and said the car should be ready by the following Monday (which would make one week) and they had it done in one week! Due to the time I got off work the collision center and Enterprise would have been closed so without a problem they let me pick it up the next day. Besides doing a great job they also get five stars from me for washing my car as well as vacuuming at least the front seats and wiping/cleaning the interior. I was not expecting that and was so surprised, grateful and thought it looked so good I called Mike and told him. Two years when I was hit from behind my car was at Brown's Collision Center since that was a GEICO express center and I don't remember Brown doing anything extra for my car besides a lackluster job fixing one piece. So I highly recommend the Malloy Collision Center for body work! read more

Avoid this place for service. Appointments don't matter and are not honored. Others time isn't respected, and the staff don't know what is going on. Don't call a customer and tell them their vehicle is ready and it still is being worked on when they arrive to pick up. Also a terrible practice to have a customer sit for 45mins and their vehicle not even be touched yet for a 5 min job. Its obvious this level of service is normally acceptable because I sat in a room FULL of people who all were complaining of the same thing and no one apparently does reviews. Do not expect this dealership to honor a warranty issue for auto defect or value loyal purchases over the years. This is 4th or 5th vehicle "new" purchased through them. They hop and skip all around warranty in every way and the service manager Glenn is a joke and will pass you off to his arrogant service advisor Paul who thinks he knows everything about vehicles. They assume you know nothing about vehicles and try to tell you the stupidest crap they can pack in a sentence. So long story short they are the only ones who service my vehicle at all and the last to touch it as I purchased a maintenance plan through them. So going up the highway my front end starts vibrating and shaking in the steering and I hear a noise and before I can attempt to stop traffic behind me and in front the front end drops and the wheel on the front passenger side comes completely off the vehicle as the vehicle front end drops to the ground. The brakes completely fail along with collision assist and a hill assist failure. I had to run the truck into a ditched embankment to stop the truck, luckily no injury or real harsh body damage or any other vehicles involved. Of course all the wheel studs are gone upon inspection. So I called the normal lines and talked to Malloy and they had me call A1 towing to tow out to them and they would call me after they looked it over that when it got there. I heard nothing from them so called the next day and talked with service manager for two days, they never call to update you. Then upon calling again I got the arrogant service advisor who said he was dealing with it now and his manager was not involved and I couldn't be transferred to him. His story was that someone must be out to get me and loosened up my lug nuts. He also said the brakes fail if the wheel comes off, so that is all normal. I told him that was the dumbest thing I have ever heard and I have been around vehicles my entire life and that no one was out to get me. He had an arrogant know it all rude attitude from A-Z. They told me I need to file with insurance. They gave me a what they claim to be a rough estimate of almost $4300 and said some parts will need paint. Funny that all the parts are mechanical (Ball joint, control arm, hub assembly, rotor, caliper, steering knuckle, backing plate, wheel, 2 tires, 6 lug nuts, 2 ball joint nuts, 4 hub bolts, axle nut) so what needs paint?..Also strange that I need a ball joint the part that will fail and cause a wheel to pivot and fold. I have loyally purchased vehicles from here over the years and honestly the sales department is great. The service department as a whole is horrible and dishonest and an absolute joke. After this I will never purchase a vehicle from here again or let them maintenance my vehicle in any way. I have reached out to Ford Headquarters, my insurance, and will probably be talking with an attorney. Of course Ford headquarters is useless well we really have to go with what dealership says. Never mind the track record of them hiring non experienced mechanics and anybody who holds a certification saying they passed a test that says they can work on vehicles. Have heard horror stories about this, but my first experience with it. Well other then my truck calling for full synthetic oil and they just use a blend and bill ford for the full package. Truck is still under the bumper to bumper warranty and I even brought the extended warranty which will obviously be useless and a waste of money with this group. This dealership has been nothing but terrible for years and then supposedly they changed things and got new management ....after selling my fiancé a lemon years back. They sold a truck that was brought back with major defects and issues. We were told a guy got the truck and immediately realized he needed 4 full doors and not the 3. LIARS we ended up meeting the actual owner he spotted the truck and told us everything. After tons of headache and being screwed around went to another ford and ended up ordering us a truck. Well years go by and my guy finds a truck that it's exactly how he wants it already at battlefield. Already red flag. They reassured him that the place has really changed. Not sure how a 60k truck we traded in a very nice used ford that they said they had not ever seen taken care of so well and such low miles and a very nice BMW ( both sold from there used lot in days!) we still owe pretty much the same price but yet they gave us $30k for my bmw and his truck they gave him top dollar for and we still owe almost $60k ???. Said that day when buying wanted to do a bed liner and lift kit. We were headed on vacay in 2 months an they said no problem all will be done by then. For weeks my fiancé called and kept asking for managers and each claimed someone else was dropping the ball. Several calls and actual walk in visits still couldn't get the free liner they promised . finally months later and threats to call very high up and leave reviews we were scheduled. Malloy Ford is a joke. I took my car in to be serviced (because of an issue Ford never contacted me about) on Friday morning. They called and said the part wouldn't be ready until 4:00 on Friday and that they (Service Technician, Nathan) would work on it Saturday and call me when finished. This was a line of crap. I was told this morning that Nathan wasn't in and that my car would be finished on Monday. When I told the service technician on staff that this was unacceptable, she immediately said it could be done by 4:00. Well Malloy, 4:00 today doesn't work for me as I had made plans around my car being finished yesterday or this morning. The customer service at Malloy is atrocious and this is why I don't take my car here anymore. The only reason I took it to Malloy was for the extended warranty on the part that Ford messed up on and it's the closest Ford to me. This is the 4th time I've made an APPOINTMENT and it has been extended by an obnoxious about of time. Oil changes here apparently take 3 hours when you make an appointment. I will never again purchase a Ford car because of this terrible customer service and the crap cars they make. read more

If I could give a 0 star rating I would. I tore the bumper off my car in an accident and took a new bumper I got from Jim Price Chevy (where I purchased my car) to Malloy Ford because Jim Price does not have a body shop. I took it there on a Wednesday, and while I handed over the keys and bumper I told them there are other parts that I do not have and was told by Carrie that they would be ordered. You could look at the car and tell there were lots more pieces needed than just the bumper. I left my car there to be looked at over the weekend and called the following Tuesday. They told me they had looked at it and would begin repairs on that Wednesday (a week after I brought it in), and that she would call me on Wednesday with more information. I never got a call on Wednesday so I sent an email only to have to call again Wednesday because I did not get a response. When I called they told me that my car would be ready by Friday in the afternoon and they would call when it was ready. I finally got an email on Friday (today) from Carrie that said my car would be ready at 4:30pm today. I received another call at 3pm, an hour and a half before my vehicle would be ready, to be told that they don't have all the parts and they couldn't finish it until they got them. I told them that I was told the parts would be ordered. They said that never happened and all I brought in was a bumper. I said again i told her that I did not have all the parts and she said they would be ordered. I said I will go get the parts from Jim Price and drop them off so it could get done because I'm going on vacation starting Sunday and I need a vehicle to drive. I pay an extra $900 at Jim Price (who were absolutely amazing) and I called and told them I'd be dropping the parts off and was told they could not finish it today. Ken, who I talked to, was rude and disrespectful and said it would not be done, bottom line. I said I was promised my car by 4:30 and you gave me an hour and a half to find parts so it could be completed. He transferred me to the manager Paul who was also rude and said he would not be able to do anything and finally hung up on me. I get there and drop the parts off and the entire time I am hearing excuses from Paul as to why the parts were not ordered. I asked how they called themselves a body shop if they don't know what parts are needed for the bumper. He told me he was having someone come in tomorrow (Saturday) and they would have it done by the afternoon. Will absolutely update when I get my car back tomorrow. When I started the process of buying a vehicle I was told online that I qualified for a $2,000.00 dollar coupon. I live 75 miles away and drove to the dealership and upon arrival was told I did not qualify due to not purchasing a new vehicle (even though I was told online I was). The salesman (who was great) talked to management and they agreed to a rebate but not the $2,000.00 I was told online. I purchased the vehicle and after driving 145 miles the check engine light came on. I contacted the dealership and was initially told they would meet me in the middle and provide a loaner vehicle while the one I purchased is being repaired. I then received a call stating they no longer provide loaner vehicles and I would need to bring the vehicle back to the dealership. Again it is over 75 miles each way and the trip would have to be made twice (once to drop off and once to pick up) with two vehicles. This was the second vehicle I have purchased from the dealership however it will be the last. I will get the vehicle repaired locally as I paid for an extended warranty and will have to pay a $100.00 deductible. read more

The staff had no respect for their clients time, as a simple phone call would be more than appreciated as our time is valuable, hence the reason for scheduling an appointment a week in advance. read more

We purchased a used F150 that we located online. Vehicle layout at the dealership was well organized. I was easily able to find what I was looking for as the trucks were parked according to size/class. After visiting several dealerships, we found most of them had used vehicles parked all over the place in no particular order. We were greeted by Kevin Daughtrey, who was friendly, no at all pushy, and was able to answer all questions in a knowledgeable manner. We were provided a fair trade offer for the quality of vehicle we wished to trade, which was a key factor in us closing a deal. There was nothing shady about the interactions we had at this dealership, unlike many others we have visited during our search. Every employee we encountered was courteous and honest with us. Not good. They claimed to fix my heat (($500 plus). 58k miles under warranty took 8 hours. 7 days later. Same problem. No heat. Took back. Left truck for 6 hours. They still hadn't even looked at it and told me to re schedule as it will take a long time to fix. I wish I could rate this establishment lower. I had my car towed to Malloy Ford where they did diagnostics. I went to the service department in person and they told me it was a bad chip. I asked when it could be repaired, and they told me they didn't know. They couldn't even tell me what exact part was needed. The rep acted like they didn't even fix cars and that I was expecting too much for my car to be serviced. He couldn't even give me a timeline as to when they could fix it. Since then I've called the service department twice and they WILL NOT CALL BACK! My car has been there for over a MONTH and they won't even call me back. Finally, I called the sales department to see if they would just buy my car, as it had been sitting on their lot unusable to me anyways. Big surprise, they never called back even though I was assured by a manager that I would be contacted. I've given Ford my business for nine years and this is the worst Ford dealership I've dealt with in three states. I would seriously recommend not doing business with Malloy Ford. They are not serious about any of the services they claim to offer. read more

I have been dealing with them for over 10 years. Growing more frustrated at every turn. They are poor at diagnosing and will use the shotgun approach to fix problems..it adds up to a big bill. During my last encounter they were less than forthright and I incurred over $1,000 in additional charges that were not disclosed. After spending nearly $3000 to fix a problem-it still exists. I did not care for their customer service and the take-it-or-leave it attitude of the service advisor. In today's linked world, their service has gone downhill rather than the opposite and that seems counter-intuitive. Through 3 owners in 10 years, for some reason their arrogance has steadily increased. Done with them. They've taken a lot more money than quality given. read more

Terrible service. I had an appointment for an oil change and when I went to check on the status of my car an hour and a half later, they hadn't even touched the car yet. It's fine if you're running late, but inform your customers of this so they can reschedule if they cannot wait. Awful experience. Service was horrid. Dropped my car off two weeks ago, 2012 ford edge. Bought the car from carmax with full warranty in december. Had the caliper seize up which destroyed the breaks pads and rotor. Carmax assured me that it was covered under the warranty but didn't have any appointments open for two weeks and to bring it to ford malloy. He spoke with someone over there and to just drop it off. So We get there to drop the car off. No one has any idea why were there and asked why we didn't make a appointment. I told the service person, Danielle what i was told at carmax. Again no idea what i was talking about. she told me they couldn't have it fixed until the next day, which was fine. She was so rude the whole time. Left to go get a rental car from enterprise which was also covered under warranty. We get there they need a number from ford malloy......So i call over there, and am informed ONLY Danielle can help me and she is out to lunch. Ill have to wait an hour to get the number from her to get a rental car. FINE....two hours go by finally receive a call from her saying they sent the number to enterprise. and the warranty only covers the caliper. Again fine...Next day I call at 1:30 to see if car is finished, again can only deal with Danielle. She tells me she will call me back to let me know when car will be ready to be picked up. 5 o'clock rolls around I call back to be informed she LEFT for the day, But my car can be picked up. Have to pick car up next day not enough time to get the car since she never called me back. When we pick up car we realize the front decal has been ripped off. You know at this point I dont care anymore, that would require me to deal with Danielle again which I refuse to do. Now im going through my bank records and find that I was charged 300 more the I was told at the register. Calling ford again I have to deal with DANIELLE again!!!!!! And surprise surprise she is busy. 2016 everything should be computerized right?! Why do i have to deal with her again. WORSE company EVER. Went in on 12/7 to get my truck appraised after waiting for over an hour truck was driven but no appraisal was done. Made another appointment for 12/11 at 1pm to get the appraisal finished. Test drove two trucks decided on a 2020 F150. During the process of working out the deal the first sheet they showed me had the price of the truck minus trade appraisal, dealer incentives and rebates plus regular fees/taxes. After I gave them my payoff they brought back and updated sheet which was missing the dealer incentives. My guess is they left it off cause my payoff was less than the appraisal. It took me 30 minutes with the salesman going back and forth for them to admit that they left it off. I signed all of the paperwork that night and picked up the truck the next night. I had to pay the 12/24 loan payment on the truck I traded in for some reason they couldn't send in payoff. They finally sent in payment overnight on 1/6. My bank paid off loan and said it will take a week for me to get the difference. I am out $100 on finance charges since it took Malloy Ford 26 days to send in payoff. I highly recommend going to a different dealership since this place is a stealership or add 30 days of interest to the payoff read more

One of my first stops was at Malloy and I had a great experience with David A., one of the salespeople. Even though I walked onto the premises knowing exactly what model I wanted to look at, David let me browse the lot in peace and was ready to step in whenever I had a question. Even though I ultimately decided to go for another car at another dealership, the experience I had with David at Malloy was incredibly pleasant. WORST SERVICE CENTER that I have ever dealt with!! I had a appointment after I was contacted and informed the part for my vehicle had arrived. After arriving the dealership and waiting a hour in the customer waiting area I was informed that the part hadn't arrived as I had been told. Can you believe this? " I'm only getting started". I waited a week before contacting the service department to find out if the part had arrived yet and was informed by the servicer writer it would be a few more days. Well I didn't trust his word so I contacted the parts department and was informed that the part had been at the dealership for 5 DAYS! After contacting the service writer once again and informing him that the part had been sitting in the parts dept for five days, he got very defensive but scheduled an appointment for the very next day. I'm assuming to makeup for his dishonesty. . The next day I arrived at the dealership at 8 am I was told that I could wait. After researching the web I was convinced the repair should take about 1 1/2 hours. I was furious when I left 7 hours later because the tech had damage a part trying to remove it and the parts department had to search around to find a replacement!! I was not informed initially about the error until I went to the service manager then the GM . The service writer said NOTHING!! Once again.. lies and excuses. This will be my last visit to this dysfunctional service department and the last time that I purchase a vehicle from this dealership! CHAOS and BSers can only described my experience!! read more

So yesterday 6/17/21 I had an oil change and yearly inspection scheduled at 7:30 AM. When I made the appt. a week earlier via phone I said I would be waiting at the dealership, then repeated this information to Logan Lamb upon arrival. Then something went terribly wrong, after sitting in the waiting room for two hours I went and ask Mr Lamb for the status on my truck, he left to go check and a few minutes later a woman came back to inform me that my paperwork had somehow been mixed up and it would be at least another hour. Needless to say I was ticked off to put it politely. She offered no real apology and said I could leave if I didn't want to wait, but honestly I didn't have the time. So an hour later I had to go check on my truck again, still not ready so I stayed at the registration desk area. Fifteen minutes later the auto technician came with my paperwork and someone ask him what happened to cause such a delay to which he replied, my paper must have gotten shuffled under other papers then finally said "whatever" ,,,don't think he knew I was the customer who had been there for well over 3 hours.
