I had a great purchasing experience at Malouf Ford in March of 2025. I dealt with their sales associate, Robert Santoro who was friendly, helpful and easygoing. No pressure, no B.S. I purchased a 2025 Maverick they had on the lot. Prior to going to Malouf, I had already researched the Maverick in various trim levels, but also already knew most, if not all the details on the specific one I was interested in. Having that knowledge up front helped the sale process move along smoothly, and quickly. Robert patiently answered any questions I had, and made sure every "I" was dotted, and every "T" was crossed. While negotiating price, I also briefly dealt with the pre-owned sales manager, Justin (if memory serves), who was also pleasant, reasonable and easy to talk to during the process. On delivery day, Robert had my new truck ready to go, right out front, freshly washed inside and out with a full tank of gas for the drive home. The finance manager, Maureen DeLucia also made the process quick and easy with her friendly demeanor and efficiency. We spent more time just having friendly chatter than doing paperwork. Before I left the dealership in my new ride, Robert made sure I had everything I needed and that I didn't have any unanswered questions. I mean, we all know that this is how car buying should be with few exceptions, but the unfortunate reality is it doesn't always go this well. I had my appointment at 8:30, and i went into their service center, their staff pretended like i didnt exist until one of them side eyed me and asked what i was in for, and he took forever to check my car in, and treated me rudely when i was actually reading the papers they handed for me to sign. then i asked a question and he got annoyed at me again, and then went back to pretending i dont exist after he handed me my receipt. i only made my way into the customer lounge bc ive had the pleasure of dealing with their rude/aggressive/pushy manager in the past when i was looking to buy a car from this dealership (dont, they add on at least 5-7k of junk fees), they took OVER 2 HOURS for a simple wheel lock installation (its not an engine rebuild), and i got thirsty and their fridge was nasty and out of their "complementary water". he apologized at the end but it genuinely shouldn't have taken that long read more

Malouf ford of North Brunswick are the worst. Dropped off my vehicle for a warranty covered diagnosis at 8 am due to a squealing noise I hear when the engine is hot. At 3 pm I sent George a message through text asking him for an update, he replied after 30 minutes saying he is still waiting for the technician's diagnosis. That is 7 hours with nothing being done. So I went there at 5 pm to ask George what's going on? He said the technician did checked up my vehicle and did not hear the squealing noise that I've been hearing. I replied "of course because the engine needs to be HOT!" and that's on the paperwork I signed. He flat-out lied to my face. I took a day off from work and brought the my vehicle there for nothing! Go to Haldeman Ford instead at Rt 130 they are much better human beings over there. read more

Malouf ford of North Brunswick are a bunch of lying and deceiving crooks will never buy a vehicle from them again or take my vehicle for service there! bought a used pickup truck from them they then sold me extended service plan for an additional $2,700 for 3 years of service witch I was told covered everything a new car warranty covered except there was a $100 deductible and that I would get a loaner car I agreed to it. 2 years later I was getting water in truck called them up for appointment told them about my extended warranty and I was told that water was not covered under extended warranty nor was any electrical or that I would qualify for a loaner car after arguing about the service agreement with service department manager to no avail I asked to speak to a dealer manager who basically said I was not told that by the salesman when I purchased vehicle even after I told him that both my wife and daughter were there with me that day and yes that's what I was told he did not care they are a bunch of con artist never again will I spend a penny at that dealer.. read more

Scammers, they will not hesitate to sell you trash vehicles, the worst! I wish I could give negative stars. They claim to have a 200 point inspection, if so they are extremely inept at their trade. I drove from MD to get a Lincoln Navigator from them. I bought it that day, they said they didn't have a battery for it and they would have to drive it to me. I should have known at that point they were going to screw me. They dropped it off without being cleaned and the defroster wire on the back window wasn't connected. They took the car back and fixed that, that's about the only good thing I can say. It is a 2018, which I bought I 2021. Since then the transmission blew and i had to get it completely rebuilt, their was an issue with the oil pan and another part that had to be replaced and the motor to windshield washer broke. I thought I had a good relation with the people at Malouf but I guess I was wrong. I took my car in for service to have a valve fixed but came home with a car that sounded like a racing car. Took it back 2 weeks later for other services and asked about the noise. I was told that the pipe on my car was rotted and that is why it is making the noise and that it will cost me $500 to replace. I can't understand how my car went from being very quiet and in 3 hours come back sounding like a racing car. Does not sound right! Reached out to jdebaro twice no response. Texted and called the General Manager no response. Contacted Ford Corporation and waiting to hear from them. My family and I have dealt with Malouf Ford for many years but after this experience of being ignored by the dealership is terrible. I will never go back there to be treated like this. Was very unhappy with the condition of my car after it was serviced at Malouf Ford North Brunswick, New Jersey. First I noticed the interior of the cabin smelled like rubber and one of my backseat weather stripping was loose and just hanging, but I was able to just clip it back on. Some plastic wrapping was left on the floor of the passenger seat. Once out of my car I noticed dried glue on both side of my backseat windows. Took me 20 minutes to clean them off. This is after it took them 2 full days to get the recalls installed. They claimed they were having problems with software installation. But.. I just wonder if just maybe.... they could have got the model of my car wrong when installing the software. The invoice have my car listed as as SE model. When mine was as ST. I did leave a message for the general manager Mr. Debaro but did not get a call back. also used their online assistant MEL. Whom promised to have someone contact me, but no one did. My family went in to Malouf tonight. We were recommended by a friend. We got there and were told to ask for Gram. He spoke down to my husband, wouldn't even give him the time of day. After the test drive, we sat down to crunch numbers (we've been to 5 other dealerships looked at cars in the same range) the sales person came back, handed us an astronomical monthly rate. Gram never even ran our credit, didn't use my husbands discount rate from work, didn't even mention Black Friday sales. When we asked about our trade in, Gram told us the vehicle needs new tires (we bought tires 3 months ago) and it wasn't worth anything. I've never been treated so unfairly. I purchased a 2011 Ford Edge in May, within 2 weeks the back camera stopped working. I called the service department and was told to bring it back where a extremely rude service employee named Joe said I owed 400.00 for the repair. After speaking with the sales manager Don we agreed to split the cost. Forward to July and the entire electronic board stops working, nothing working on entire dash. Back to the dealership ( mind you I live over a hour away) where the quote was 1200.00 with Don promising to work with us on the price. After 3 months I get a call that they have a refurbished part since new ones are still on back order. It seems the repair came to 2100.00 with no approval for that amount!! After getting Don involved again he lowered it to 1600.00 final. I found the service department to be unbelievably arrogant, rude and who have difficulty with the truth. A bunch of old grumpy men who should not be dealing with the public! Sorry Lisa. Ironically, that car is for my son and I am as I write this looking to purchase a new car for myself. This place has absolutely horrible service! I drove out to see and test drive the vehicle the day before I purchased. The Salesman was rude and anti social but I didn't really need much from him so I left it alone and told them I would be back the next day to pick it up, even left a deposit to hold the vehicle and all my info for the paper work.The next day I showed up around noon (gave them a call before arriving) and still waited 3 hours before I had to actually tell them I was leaving if I wasn't seen in "15 min". I was then seen and out within that 15 min. So what took so long? The truck was sitting in the same place, dirty from bad weather the day before and a 1/4 tank of gas. There is a lot more to the story but I don't think there is any reason to keep going after reading most of the other reviews on this place. If you use this dealership then good luck and ready yourself for bad service. read more

Service department is as obnoxious as they come. Last time I got a quote on a standard maintenance service, they wanted over $500 for what a private mechanic did for $100 and change. Also lied to me on another occasion about what was covered under my warranty. When I asked if I could call Ford customer care, who had already told me it was covered, to verify what they were telling me, they said no. Don't waste your time, money or aggravation with these greedy clowns. Be particulary wary of Sal. I wonder if he works on comission inventing "problems" to be fixed. I never had to deal with such an arrogant service dept. ever. Sal has lost this company an enormous amount of money. He has this smug attitude that makes you just want to smack the crap out of him. Multiple times i have been to the service dept with him saying how he has never heard of the TSB (technical service bulletin) that I am questioning him about. Funny how I was told to go there because another person I know who bought there truck there had to have the same issue fixed under warranty less than a week before I went there. I guess unless you buy from them they don't want to honor and warranty issue you have with FORD. Find any other dealer. Not worth wasting your time. read more

I had no problems here getting warranty service that another dealer wasn't able to diagnose. I did like the workstations they had in the waiting room which allowed me to set up my laptop and get some work done. My husband make an appointment to check his trucks check engine light and dropped it truck off at 8 in the morning. He called around 12 to check on it and Sal told him he would call him back within the hour and let him know what they found out. At 2:30 he got dropped off there found Sal and he told him they didn't even move the truck yet. Hes been home all day stuck and they didn't take it in. We then are told people who just wait and walk in are seen first. That the truck could sit all night into the next day. Whats the point of an appointment!!!! read more

Obnoxious and led to me about pricing. Bought a used car there for my son 2 days after pulling out the lot the headlight went out. Called no response till finally we thought we got somewhere. They agreed to split costs of the repair which according to Mazda would be 1400 just for parts. We bought a ballast for 600 and was told by them to bring it back. However the service department is awful. Brought my car in to have the light fixed which included the ballast. They took the ballast I bought from my back seat that was to be returned. Specifically asked them 3x that the price included ballast. They even told me to return it. Lied directly To me when they fixed it and never said that and used my part that should of never touched. Going to Mazda directly would of been better and my light still isn't working correctly. Will never buy a new or used car from them again!! At this point I am not even sure they did the oil change that we paid for. Horrible service, 5 hours n they took a part from my car that they shouldn't have touched. I have never been so disgusted by the "customer service" I received here. My father has been buying cars here for over 20 years and I bought my own vehicle here. Sales guys are great but it's the service you have to watch out for. I hit a pothole on the way home from work on Friday and needed a rim and tire as a result. I came to Malouf on Saturday and was truly disappointed. I had called in the morning for the rim and was transferred to parts, no one answered so I had to hang up and call three more times and told the guy on the phone I would be there. When I arrived around 11am I was immediately greeted with rudeness by Joe at the desk who started with the attitude by saying we won't mount anything outside of here meanwhile I had bought the tires months ago FROM MALOUF. Then the attitude began again because they were only in until 12:30, then make that known on your website that service isn't open 9-5 like the hours say. So carrying on they finally decided to do it. After paying for the rim and the mounting and balancing of the two front tires upon leaving I find out the balancing I paid for wasn't done or wasn't done properly considering I had some serious front end shaking. I came in Monday for the service to be done correctly and after some eye rolling from no one other than Joe, I was told "well it was done but I guess we'll look at it". I will no longer be servicing my vehicle here. I should have made that decision a long time ago after they changed their oil change policy and gave me attitude about coming in before my car was at the 10,000 mile mark, after they "fixed" my fuel door, only for it to be broken again. And after they "fixed" my front breaks which still have issue. Since the service writer Scott passed away the service center has gone to shit. He was the only one who knew how to talk to people, especially paying customers. So thank you Malouf, for the absolute worst customer service. read more

Unprofessional and huge rip off. Made an appointment 2 weeks in advance and they called the morning of to say they couldn't perform the service that day and had to reschedule. Tried to charge $150 for a diagnostic test on an issue, then asked for them to just check one other very simple thing and they wanted to charge an additional $150. They wanted us to pay $300 without even performing or fixing anything. If they did fix it, we would have been charged for the fix and still would have had to pay the$300 on top of that, basically for nothing since we already knew what issues were. read more

I live in East Brunswick NJ, 11 miles from Malouf ford North Brunswick. I took my 04 Navigator to the Malouf Ford service center at US 1, North Brunswick NJ around the 20th of Nov 2013 for Suspension problem, Side mirrors repair & replace back bumper. After almost 2 weeks and several calls to Sal to get repair updates. I called Sal on Dec 04, 2013 and he finally informed me that I could come pick up the car, I paid about $5,500.0 but my car was worse than when I brought it into Malouf. The suspension/shocks were not raising and the car was bouncing as I drove. About 6 miles on Rt 1 the check suspension light came on (first time ever). My wife & I turned round & returned the car back to Malouf. My wife picked the car up on Dec 19th and same thing happened about 4 miles from Malouf on Rt 1 (bouncing & check suspension light came on). My wife returned the car to Sal again and was written up again for same suspension. On Jan 09, 2014 I called and Sal said the car was ready, I drove with my wife from E. Brunswick to Malouf. I test drove within the dealership & the car was same- bouncing. I went back to Sal & requested a mechanic (Ricca Joseph) come take a test drive with me and he confirmed same. Sal called me on Jan 17, 2014 and said the suspension compressor was faulty and that I would be billed about $600 more. I requested that the car be fixed first which Sal agreed to....that Malouf would replace the compressor test same & call me. Today is Jan. 21, 2014 & Sal has not called with any updates whatsoever. I am used to calling to check up on the repairs since Sal does not call, even when he promises to call he fails and does not see a need to apologize either. It is about 63 days now that Malouf Ford Service center has had my '04 Navigator for repairs to no avail. I won't wish this quality of service on anyone. read more

We bought our Ford Fusion 5 years ago from this location and were provided complimentary oil change as part of the deal while purchasing the vehicle. Since then I have been getting an oil change once every 6 months without any issues. This time around when I had made an appointment and went in for my regular oil change, service guy named Sal tells that that their policy has changed to 10k miles and kept lying about this change in policy when I politely kept explaining that I come no sooner than 6 months. The excerpt from Fords website regarding oil change clearly says ": 2008 and newer model-year vehicles: every 7,500 miles or every six months, whichever comes first". He seemed very uninterested when I was trying to speak to him and kept repeating what their "policy" is with a rude and loud tone. I was even surprised that the service manager did not have the decency to reach out to me in regards to this issue despite being aware. I am so disheartened to say that some of the employees that work for such a prestigious organization at this location lack basic customer service skills and seem very uninterested in their job. I am a healthcare professional and a manager myself and would never imagine speaking to or treating people with such disrespect. I was forced to pay or go back home without an oil change. Very,Very,Very,Very Poor Service. WHY MAKE AN APPOINTMENT??? It won't matter it will still sit in the lot forever!! I made and appointment for Tuesday to get my truck worked on. Some warranty work and the problem with my headlights. I stopped in the week before and spoke with Linda. She made an appointment for the following Tuesday. I dropped it off late Monday afternoon so will be right there ready for them on Tuesday. I called Tuesday afternoon for an update and they did not look at it yet. I got busy on Wednesday and did not call I called Thursday and they still have not looked at it. It has been sitting in the parking lot. I stopped by late afternoon on Friday and it is still sitting in the parking lot. I went in and told Big fat Sal I wanted my keys and I was here to pick my truck up. I took my ford edge for recall on gas tank they fixed that and a bunch of other things as well the interior lights started staying on immediately after service. I took car back and they were going to charge me $150 to diagnose. This problem happened after they serviced the car. They were rude and they also didn't tell me that the car wouldnt pass inspection because of the recall work and that I need to drive car for 150 miles so the car will not pass emissions test and now Im driving around with a bad inspection sticker on a perfectly fine car. The guy was rude when I asked him how much it was going to cost with diagnostic and parts. I will never bring back the car for service there and I will never buy a ford product. Very customer unfriendly and the reps have attitudes and do not seem to care. I purchased a vehicle at malouf and also used them for service, but i am very disenchanted, and won't use them again. I had an emergency with my car's brakes, and called them at 8:30a.m. to ask them to check out the car. It was not safe to drive. I was told they are too busy, and simply "dont drive the car". DUH? I was in the car when I called them and the brakes failed....I had to go somewhere.....but they refused to accommodate me, despite the emergency. Instead, I drove a short distance (very carefully with the emergency brake in hand) to Bell Ford in Colonia, where I was treated like I matter...they took the car, and even shuttled me to work. Brought my new fusion in for its first service. As I pull up the service area the garage door opens and I drive right in. That was extremely impressive. I was welcomed with a friendly smiling employee and my car was brought right in. I proceeded to the customer lounge. I was approached by the general manager, Dino with another warm and friendly smile and a nice complimemt. What a great way to start my first service. I have always been a GMC customer having bought 8 cars from Malouf. Though I am very familiar with Malouf having been a customer for over 20 years, I do say I feel world class service here at Ford.
