    Thai tea with boba
    Cynthia A.

This is my first time visiting Mama Hong's. I'm picky about Vietnamese food because it needs to be as good as my mom's and aunt's cooking. I ordered the rice and grilled pork with egg roll as well as a Thai tea with boba. The meat was made perfectly (the flavor and it was cooked on a grill like it should be!) and the dish reminded me of my mom's cooking. The Thai tea was very sweet but it was good and the boba was made perfectly. I ordered some dishes to go so we'll see what the kids think of it. The restaurant is very clean and they have nice music playing. The gentleman that served everyone was very friendly and helpful. The menu is limited but it has the most popular Vietnamese dishes. Looking forward to coming back!

Decided to try this new restaurant for takeout. They have grilled beef banh mi sandwiches, and rice plates, which is unusual, and I'm all for it. We had a grilled pork banh mi, grilled beef banh mi and a grilled beef rice plate. Everything was top notch. The bread on the banh mi was soft but crunchy, the veggies had the right amount of tang and the meat was well seasoned and chewy but not too chewy. Kind of the perfect dig into it and enjoy sandwich The rice plate was a hit. The seasoned beef pairs well with fish sauce and pickled veggies. Price was about $30 for all 3 items and we have leftovers. We could have each got a sandwich, split a side and been satisfied. Everything was filling Everything was tasty Everything enjoyable Staff very nice Place was clean Overall I'm happy I tired this place out. 5/5 will eat again if I'm in the mustang area

Very friendly service. No adult beverages. We had the pork summer rolls and the pork was tough but the interesting dipping sauce was great. It isn't your typical peanut sauce (which I also love). We also had the P7 and P4. The broth was flavorful and the portions large. I wish they had daily specials like the pho restaurant that was in that spot before.

Delicious food nice atmosphere and friendly service make Mama Hong's a great addition to the Mustang food scene. We tried the spring rolls and edamame for starters and the P1 Pho and a pork an egg roll Bun. Mama Hongs food is righteous !!!

Yum! We love this spot, it's locally owned and delicious! We usually eat in but got Togo today!

Combination fried rice. Chicken, BBQ Pork, and Shrimp.

Best Banh Mi sandwiches I've tried in Mustang/OKC. The staff is prompt and serviceable and the environment to dine in is pretty chill.

The dipping sauce that came with the spring rolls was slightly sweet and salty. Like teriyaki. Great. The chicken pho came with rice noodles. Adding Siracha to it and some soy sauce was absolutely great. The side of rice I ordered for 1.50 was well worth it. I did not like the bean paste on the table. I would like a bigger bowl just more broth but it was really fantastic. A

I loved the fresh crunchy exterior white loaf bread. As I took each bite it gave way to a fresh, soft and pillowy inside white bread experience. It did a fantastic job wrapping up my Vietnamese style meat and veggies. Everything in my sandwich had a ton a flavor. I thought the summer rolls (wrapped in rice paper) were excellent and that dipping sauce was on point! I'll always get an order of that every time I'm here. The service was top notch and I loved the decor too. It's more of a quick in and out kind of experience which was perfect between running errands. I'll be back! November 2023

The mini food court has expanded over the years, but the food and service have stayed consistently solid. Their bún bò Huế is one of the better versions in the city and feels very traditional, from the variety of meats to the toppings and deep, flavorful broth. I'm still on the hunt for the best bún bò Huế, but this one is high on the list. We also love their pho and vermicelli bowls--fresh ingredients, good portions, and authentic flavors throughout. It was busy during the weekend lunch rush, yet orders came out quickly and the staff kept things moving efficiently. Tables were cleaned almost immediately after customers left, which helped the space feel organized despite the crowd.

All the cans of soda are also $1, and I told them as a business suggestion they should maybe allow at least one free refill at that price because that may be the equivalent of 8 cans.
