At first I thought what a random location for a Vietnamese pho restaurant. When I got there, it became clearer. It is located next to Nazarene University. I managed to grab a parking spot in the street in front of the restaurant. But extra parking spots are available in the rear and is a shared parking space for the collection of stores. The spring rolls are good. Having actual peanuts in the peanut sauce is a plus. Now to the main course, the "pho." Some pluses are generous portion size and plenty of bean sprouts to go with the pho. The broth reminds me of home made pho broth. Of course this is an exaggeration because it's better than home made broth. But it's not as flavorful as some pho restaurants in Asian district. The beef steaks in the pho lost the sweetness of meat. The fatty brisket (or cooked meat - sorry I couldn't tell) is cut a little too thick. Having eaten pho my whole life, I feel like the broth and meat are not as good as Asian district. Pho 3Nine is still a good option for Bethany or nearby area. I don't think it's as good as some restaurants in Asian district thus the location makes sense. If it was in Asian district, I don't know if it will be able to compete. read more

Only place I know of in okc metro that has braised duck noodle soup . I wish they had the fried pork fat though. Service is good and interior is cool . If you never had duck soup, it's like a more intense chicken noodle soup . Give your taste buds a chance to climax . read more

Love that this place is not far from the school I'm currently taking my aesthetician classes at. We only get 30 minutes for lunch so it is very convenient and the food does not take long when you order it in. I got an order of the rocket shrimp that was pure perfection!! They were so delicious. I always appreciate when there's a random pho restaurant in a non Asian centered location. I've only been here once, and actually tried their lunch special which allows you to pick vermicelli w/ grill-led pork & an egg roll. Excellent price for the amount you get. Everything was pretty good, although I've had better grilled pork. The lady (owner?) is so nice. She greets everyone who comes in and genuinely wants you to enjoy the food. Server got my order wrong then proceeded to tell me she can't fix it until her mom or someone came out from the back and said okay they'll fix it. I was out of water for longer than 5 minutes twice. Had to flag her down to get water. The first time she forgot I asked for more water and had to remind her. This place spoiled me for pho. Both eating it at restaurants and my laborious journey to make good pho at home. I'd finally found a good recipe and was pretty proud of myself... then I came here. However, as much as I love their pho (can you tell it's amazing), their spicy beef soup is one of my favorite dishes of all time. I don't even like spicy food, but that soup is crave-worthy. Honestly everything is good here. Their specials are delicious - if you can get one before they run out for the day. The service is good. The waitstaff tend to sit behind a front counter keeping an eye on things so they see when you need something and don't hover over your shoulder. The ambiance is very bright and casual. Great for friends, family, or work. Good for dates if you're doing casual focusing on food. TL;DR: You like pho or want to try it? This is the best in the metro. Try all the things. Pho39 has quickly become our go to pho place. It's always fresh and delicious. The two waitresses are both very friendly. How this place has a 4.2 rating is a mystery. It's so much better than other pho places I've been that have a higher rating. Try the rare steak pho with some chili-oil for some added heat. You can thank me later. read more

If you dont like the strong spices used in pho then you'll like this place. The broth(beef, chicken, veg) here is very forward in flavor of the broth type you choose and there isn't much else to detect. I love pho and my friend had told me about this place so we decided to meet for lunch. I ordered the oxtail pho. It was quite good but I had to add sriracha and hoisin sauce for flavor. I thought it was a little black. But that's easy to fix. The chunks of meat were real. And so was the amount of noodles. There is no scrimping here. We had the fresh spring rolls and the peanut sauce was perfection. It even had chunks of peanut. The owners are very nice and helpful. All in all, a very good lunch. read more

I have been to this restaurant many many times but I won't ever go back again. I remember their daughters introducing me to their parents that owned the restaurant when they first opened, very shy but nice. Recently I ordered Pho to go and when I picked it up the kid said it was over 17 dollars! I said what?! He said we raised our prices. Well I picked it up and left a small tip to the condescending young man. That being said I called back and said I'll never return. Called Pho Kim on May to check prices and they only charge a little over 12 bucks for to go orders. Yes! My wife and I went on Saturday and the Pho was even better ! Love me some vietnamese style eggrolls and had a bowl of pho. Not much meat for the meat eaters, but just enough for me. Noodle ratio was great and cooked just right. My sister-in-law tried their braised duck soup and said it was really good. Possibly the best she's had. Located in Bethany across from SNU is this sweet gem. It's not bad at all! I thought the pho is flavorful. The prices are okay compared to other pho places. The service is so-so, just because the servers here are less than friendly. I have a pho place that I go to regularly when I want pho but this place is definitely second up. My complain is that they don't give much meats and the meats they put in your bowl are teeny tiny. The veggies are also not as abundant and fresh as other places. Located across from SNU, this place is a lot further from the regular pho places I frequently visit. There are some street parking located right in front of the restaurant, but I believe there is also a parking lot behind the restaurant. The restaurant is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside, and there is also a separate "section" of the restaurant to hold larger parties. The restaurant has a retro vibe due to the checkered tiles and the funky murals. When you walk in the restaurant, you aren't hit with the overwhelming smell of pho, which is pretty surprising. It's a welcomed change as most pho restaurants I go to, you can always smell the pho as soon as you open the door. I ordered the the Pho Bo Vien and Tai, which was pretty good. The broth wasn't fatty or dense at all, and the meats were all good. Noodles were good as well, but the bowls are tiny. I got a regular, and they fill the bowl up to the brim, so it's difficult to eat at first as you might spill the broth. Overall, I would give this place another try if I'm ever in the area again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. read more

They give me a large portion in a nice microwaveable to-go container. Noodle soups are the best compared to other places I have tried. Bun Bo hue is not too spicy. We ordered for dinner, so I think these ingredients were kept in unsafe conditions all day. The noodles in the dish were gluey, and not cooked right. If I could give lower star , I would. This wonderful restaurant is located in the college town of Southern Nazarene University. The environment is a small cafe-like area that feels just like home! It is more modern aesthetics than traditional. The food was great! I ordered Pho Thai, Bo Vien (beef noodle with steak fillet and meatball). The broth was flavorful.
