I have been a loyal customer for a couple years but unfortunately I will not be returning. The changes to the ordering, service and food quality are shameless. Why even have an option for a tip when the customer does everything but make the food. I went in for an early lunch and found myself alone in the "dining room." I scanned a QR code and was prompted to make an account to order. I ordered, food was delivered to me and I cleared my table to the area with numerous instructions for placement of items. I left without so much as seeing anyone with the exception of the brief food delivery. The chicken was dry, the dish tasted of oil and it was expensive. No military discount. What a great experience. I had the crab Rangoon, which I brought home next time. I will eat it all at the location hot I brought it home but I'm actually at a hotel so I couldn't re-warm it up but I had two orders of the tapioca dumplings, which I had the first order and was floored how tasty they were. I sat outside and enjoy the scenery as people walked past and drove past. I feel very comfortable. I loved the clipboard that my check came on to so I asked if I could keep it and he said yes I was so excited to have that momento. I ordered the bun Bo hue and it was as authentic it can get! The broth had a strong delicious lemongrass flavor and it had a good balance with other spices. It was not bland whatsoever. Found this place after craving some Asian food on our way down to Miami. Really glad we made the stop! I got the combo pho and my girlfriend got the pork chop rice platter. The veggie spring rolls were crispy and good and an order with 4 large rolls was plentiful. The pho soup was delicious, piping hot, and hit the spot. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the shrimp in the Veggie Pho with Shrimp and Vegetables. You can choose 2 "proteins" to add to any broth, so that's what I chose. There was a good amount of them and the shrimp were huge! (I just wish they offered a choice of duck.) The food was delicious. The Vietnamese iced coffee was a bit of a letdown. It was a little too sweet, and every time I've ordered this drink, it always came beautifully layered in the glass, with the coffee and condensed milk separated. Here it's blended. This is a small mom and pop restaurant with limited seating. Service is friendly and helpful. I ordered a beef pho to-go and was surprised at how warm the broth was by the time I got to my destination. I didn't have to heat it up and the packaging was very convenient. You can easily pour the broth into the noodle container. The portion was big and at a reasonable price. Horrible food and horrible customer service - or lack of! We ordered 2 chicken pad Thais. Simple, or what I thought! We ordered Uber Eats and the Pad Thais are beyond spicy. I called the restaurant and was informed that I order one of the very few items that are always served spicy. The man that answered the phone asked "have you had pad Thai before?" We eat it frequently and have never had a spicy Pad Thai. In fact, I went back to the order menu to confirm that spicy was not an option. My new favorite local spot when I'm in town! Small family owned establishment, but don't let that fool you from the flavor and cuisine. I was starving, but knew I didn't want pho or noodles, so I chose the garlic rice and it did not disappoint! I did t have time to dine in, so I had to get take-out. If take-out was this amazing, I can only imagine how much better it would taste fresh from the kitchen! The egg rolls were in spring roll paper, so that threw me off. I'm always looking for vegan egg rolls, you know, with egg roll wrapping paper, and I haven't found any yet. However, they were crunchy, not to thin nor thick, and appeared to have tofu inside; nice surprise and add of texture. Wish they had dairy milk for the boba, but I moved on and decided in the limeade. Now, it has a little fix to it and the lime flavor is all the way there, but it was shockingly sweet! I was expecting a little more picker and citrus than sugar, but next time I might ask for half limeade half water to see if that helps.
