The good: The Chicken Pho is on point!!! The take out order was very fast. The bad: The shrimp egg roll was terrible and gross. The shrimp smelled terrible, possibly gone rancid. I've been coming to Beaumont a lot and I usually go to Pho Ha for soup. But there was a time when they were closed for renovations I think and so my friends recommended to try this place instead. Place: It was well decorated and very spacious. Service: was great. Staffs were very friendly. Food: was good. The Pho wasn't that impressive though. 1st time at this restaurant.. Was not greeted - I guess seat yourself - a sign would be nice. I ordered beef pho with brisket, meatball, and added a beef rib. My husband ordered tai bo vien. It took some time for our food to cone out.. we saw 2 other couples come about 15 minutes or so after us.. put their order in.. (their soups came out right after ours and steaming) When our soups came out, our waiter did not even know which soup was which number. Looked at us like we should know the menu. My husbands soup came to the table correctly, but it was not hot- like steamy or at least be able to see a little steam.. my soup came to the table. Not exactly what I ordered.. I mean I know I can pick out the stuff I did not want in the soup (tripe & tendon) What was the point of giving my order if the waiter decided not to take it down correctly... I know I gave my order pretty clear. Also, my soup was not steamy hot either - no steam..it was luke warm.. And I like my food hot hot. They do not give you much veggies (bean sprouts, basil leaves, jalapeños, lime) Will have to find condiments at another table as it is not brought to you when seated. I really wanted a good bowl of pho before leaving Port Arthur.. this did not do it for me. Of the soups came out steamy - maybe it'll have a few more stars. The soup flavor is okay.. beef rib bone and brisket were tough. I am truly not a picky eater. This visit was just not so great for us. Especially for the 1st time. From the decor to the service to the food - we loved everything about Pho Neches! Our waitress was friendly and helpful in choosing our meals. Our food didn't take long to get to the table and was beautifully plated. The flavors were incredible. The meat was moist and tender, the vegetables were crisp, and the portion sizes are plentiful. I highly recommend the sweet chili sauce with the charbroiled pork eggrolls. The restaurant is not large, but it's very clean and the soap in the bathrooms is from a locally owned business. For four meals and two appetizers, we spent right at $65, which is a steal for us! We will definitely be back often. read more

My grandson and I love good Vietnamese Cuisine. So we are always on the lookout for delicious Pho (Vietnamese soup)and Bo Luc Lac (shaken beef), which are our favorite. Pho Neches (creative name) is a new restaurant that opened about four weeks ago on Nall St in the city of Port Neches. It is quite large, very attractive, comfortable and I agree with many that say it is "cute." The atmosphere was very "welcoming" as you choose your own table. The waitress greeted us with a smile as we decided on what to order. The menu is typical of what you find in many Vietnamese restaurants, with a few exceptions. For appetizers, we ordered the pork and shrimp spring rolls and something that was recommended, the Sate Wontons. Those wontons are $$ and come highly recommended. They have that mild kick at the end that I really like. These will become very popular and should stay on the menu. For our entrées, we both ordered the Bo Luc Lac and we also ordered one bowl of Pho Ga (chicken). We asked them if we could split the bowl into two small bowls and they were very accommodating. That was a big plus. The Bo Luc Lac was good, but I place it second to Uyen's in P.A., which is my all-time favorite. Now to the Pho, we may not be true connoisseurs of Vietnamese Pho, but we have eaten a lot of it in Southeast Texas and we know what we like. In our area, we have always considered Uyen's and Pho Ha the best (our opinion). However, at the very first sip of that super, flavorful broth we were convinced that this was the BEST pho. The broth took center stage in this bowl of meat, noodles, and herbs. FANTASTIC! This pho has the potential to become a wintertime, springtime, summertime staple. It was packed with intense flavor and alluring aroma. So very, very good I gave my grandson the noodles, I just wanted to be filled with that savory, delicious broth. You'll just have to taste it to believe it. I had my Bo Luc Lac packed to go so my tastebuds could give its undivided attention to the pho. Pho Neches is located at 2370 Nall St in Port Neches, Tx. This restaurant is in a good location. If they keep up the consistency of their food and customer service they will do well. Also, after you leave Pho Neches walk two doors down to Berry Top Creamery. My grandson treated me to some ice cream and it was absolutely delicious. Creamy, rich, premium ice cream that will please the most demanding of pallets. You won't be disappointed. Pretty good! My husband and I ordered the egg rolls, banh mi chargrilled pork, pho nam (brisket), and shaken beef. The egg rolls were small but nothing unexpected. The banh mi was probably our favorite- SUPER TASTY. It is not a sandwich though, it's a bruschetta. The flavors were delicious, but it is difficult and messy to eat. My husband cleared his plate of the shaken beef. The pho was good, but I honestly couldn't tell a difference between this one and other pho's in the area. The decor was a bit confusing- rustic with wooden tables and beverage mason jars with spray painted funny sayings on the walls to the New York style entry photo-op background (genius marketing tactic though). Every few days I try to explore Beaumont for new places! New to the area so every week is a food adventure. Today I was craving vietnamese food & stumbled upon this cute modern place that recently just opened. Upon arrival, the parking was very clean, clear, and building was very new. As soon as you enter, you get this wow vibe as the room was very modernly design and aesthetic with straw hat hanging lights, wall murals/ paintings, bush backdrop, and cleanliness. Menu was simple to read and I liked that, ended up getting a Pho Netches (Pho Dac Biet with the beef rib), and 3 Mon (3 Choice Appetizer) with salt pepper wings/sweet spicy wings/ fried squid. The pho was very solid, price and portion was decent. Key thing to try out before anything is the broth and it passed my taste test. Afterwards I'd add the veggies, lime, and a little bit of sriracha or sweet chili oil. The only issue was the beef rib was kinda tough and bland. Service was nice, little miscommunication but of course it was quickly resolved. Will definitely come back and try out the rice dishes. read more

Really nice spot for pho...love the ambiance and the staff is friendly. I get the Pho Neches when I stop in and it's delicious. Love the beef rib they add in it. Only gripe with the soup is the amount of mix ins they provide (you can request more and it's no problem though)...The spring rolls are pretty good along with the salt and pepper shrimp...didn't care much for the Vietnamese Bruschetta, although the presentation was nice.
