After leaving another restaurant disappointed, I was so relieved to catch this spot just before closing--and honestly, it hit the spot. Food: 4/5 I ordered the beef bánh mì for my husband and pho for myself. One thing I found really interesting was how this place focuses on vegan Vietnamese cuisine--but still offers meat options. While I didn't go for the tofu this time, the concept itself was cool and made me curious to come back and try more. The bánh mì was solid--good portion, decent amount of meat, and a nice balance of pickled veggies. The pho wasn't the richest or most flavorful broth I've ever had (especially compared to more traditional beef-based versions), but it was comforting and definitely satisfying. I'm guessing the lighter broth comes from their plant-forward philosophy, and I can't really fault them for that. Service: 5/5 They were super fast. I placed my order about 20 minutes before closing, and they still prepared everything quickly and with care. No rushing, no attitude--just kindness and efficiency. For a late-night, last-minute meal, it was impressive. Value: A $40 meal for two in NYC? That's rare these days. Considering the portion sizes and speed, I'd call it a win. It's a great option if you're trying to stick to a budget but still want to eat out. Overall: This is a solid local gem, especially if you're looking for Vietnamese food with vegan options or just want something warm, fast, and budget-friendly. It's not the most mind-blowing pho I've had, but I'd definitely come back to try more from their menu--and maybe get that tofu next time. Bonus: it looks like they do a ton of delivery, so if you're in the area, you've got a go-to comfort food spot just a tap away

Really excited to have discovered this Vietnamese spot in the neighborhood! My boyfriend and I ordered takeout from here, chicken pho with extra vegetables, extra broth and extra noodles. Normally, I don't love chicken pho and would opt for another protein alternative but this chicken was really tender and flavorful. The noodles were a little too chewy for my preference but did hold their shape well for leftovers. Vegetables were fresh and tasty. Their broth had a slight tang to it that wasn't my favorite but we still really enjoyed our dinner from here and would order from here again. They have vegetarian meat alternatives on the menu and I plan to try these soon.

This is for a delivery order. Used to love ordering from here but recently, they have been SKIMPING on the portions. Not sure if it's just for deliveries or not but I'm paying $25 a bowl, Id like to have more than 15 noodles in the container.

I got the lemongrass chicken pho and unfortunately was not a fan. I possibly am not a pho person, which could be why. Although, I must say the bag they put the food in was super cute. The food was delivered so I'm not sure about how the service is.

This is a cute and comfy location, appeared to be very clean. Friendly environment and service. I had the Vegan Ginger Chick'n vermicelli, my first time trying a Vietnamese dish. I liked it, it was light and fresh. Veggies were crisp and the vegan chicken was very flavored. I wasn't crazy about the summer roll, I would have preferred less noodles and more veggies with the shrimp. And shrimp could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Would come back to try the pho bowls, I also love their cute to go bag.

I came here for lunch on a rainy Sunday. They had outdoor seating but only two tables inside. One table had bench seating and one had stools. I had the tofu pho. It was delicious. Tasty, hearty, and filling. The flavors were subtle, but they provided sriracha chili sauce which gave it a nice kick. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy. I also had the vegan ginger chick'n spring roll. It's rare and awesome to find a Vietnamese restaurant with vegan meat options. However, they put the chick'n roll on the same tray as my partner's chicken roll. We had to ask which was which so if you are vegan/vegetarian and sensitive to this, make sure to ask for separate platings. The roll had a bit too much noodle and not much of the other ingredients. I didn't taste any ginger on the chicken. Still, I enjoyed it, especially with the accompanying peanut sauce, which was sweet and savory.

This may be the first time I've given a place 5 stars immediately after I ate and Lucy's Vietnamese - Bedford Stuyvesant deserves every star. To start off, you can smell the delicious food as you pass by. That and the neon ground sign was what caught my attention about this place. I hadn't heard of it before but a quick check of its Yelp stats let me know that it might be worth a stop, the next time that I passed. Sure enough, I popped inside two days later on my way to the bus. I saw the Smoked Brisket Pho on the menu and was sold. No exaggeration, my order was ready in less than 5 minutes and my server was very sweet. Once I arrived home, I devoured the Pho and immediately started drafting this review. The Smoked Brisket Pho blew me away and I've already reordered it 2 more times. I haven't tried anything else on the menu yet but if all the other dishes are even half as good as this pho, I'm in!

I really came to tell y'all how good their pho issssss. The brisket is super flavorful my goodness!! My grandmother had the brisket Bàhn Mí and she enjoyed it, just had a lot of carrots/cilantro. I enjoyed my lemongrass chicken bowl, I'm not usually a fan of mushrooms but I love that they cut it up small where it didn't bother me. Lovedddd everything here! & the workers were nice plus inside was comfortable. They also have seating outside if the seats inside are occupied. Highly recommend if you're in the neighborhood or want to try Vietnamese food.

Best pho I've had in brooklyn by far. The dish has lots of meat and tofu. The broth was flavorful and mouth watering. I had a vegan friend come with us and it was convenient since they had vegan options. I would for sure come back again. Atmosphere was cozy and homey. Service was 5/5. Lovely workers. Would for sure come back!

Absolutely loved my experience. The staff was fast with getting the food out. I was very comfortable and cozy in the space. Check out my Instagram @livinglifewithkylie to see a full reel about the place.

Overall rating: 4.9 I'm not sure why this has low ratings. Best Pho I've ever had! I got the shrimp summer roll, iced tea and brisket pho. I got it to go & love that they packed the meat and broth separate. It's on the pricier side, so if I come back - it would only be to just get the pho. I'm more of a ramen girl, but was soo surprised that I love it so much. It was very flavorful!! I'm thinking about it now Highly recommend!

The service was okay - it was obvious the server was brand new/still in training so I'm sure he'll get better and congrats to him on the new job! Btw, in case you were wondering this place is NOT Vietnamese-owned, or at least the server + the host + some workers in the back were not, or perhaps they're trilingual. In any case, I was a little sad about that because there really is a lack of good Viet food in NY so although other ethnicities are more than welcome to own places not of their own ethnicities, I was just hoping to find more Viet-owned Viet food businesses. That being said, I got pho bo vien (which I suppose now I know why there's no Vietnamese text on the menu... so this is the viet meatball pho??) and it was okay. Nothing bad, nothing special, probably a bit too pricey for what you get. I was hoping for some comfort food since this location is nearby. The broth was overall fine after adding some hoisin sauce and Sriracha. Unsure if I'll come again... the convenient location for me is probably the main selling point

The baguette was perfectly crisp on the outside while staying light enough to bite through. I also loved that they chop up the cilantro, so you're not spending a whole minute trying to chew through the stems. Everything was packed together so well that the sandwich held its shape from the first bite to the last without falling apart.
