We were the only customers in the restaurant at noon when we got here. A few GrubHub. We have experience with poke bowls, so we had some expectations. Service: The gal was pleasant when we ordered. I think she was the only person there. Maybe she is "Mama"? She was cook, cashier, etc. So she would stop making the food to take another order, answer the phone, hand out delivery orders to the drivers which made the process of getting our food a bit longer than if there was one more person to help her out. Food: $45 lunch. Poke bowl with 3 proteins, 6 chicken dumplings, and a California Crunch Roll. Pricy for amount of food. Food review: Ambiance: Rainbow colors to the interior walls, tables and chairs. Clean.

Salmon Lover's Poke Bowl

I ordered the salmon lover's poke bowl. It was tasty, but way too small. See image next to my hand.

This was a nice surprise! I've been by it many times but it didn't look like anything special. I got a poke bowl with salmon and it was high quality and fresh. The service was great. I'll definitely be back.

Everything was very delightful. Especially refreshing on a hot day! The owners were very friendly. I really appreciated their great customer service. I had the tuna poke bowl (half spicy, half regular) and everything tasted fresh and all the toppings went very well together. My daughter had the teriyaki pork bowl with rice and edamame. The pork was very tender and flavorful. She really enjoyed it. My husband had the spicy chicken bowl, which he said tasted good but wasn't very spicy. We also really liked their drink selection. They have a variety of drinks that you really can't find at most places.

The food is amazing, you can tell the wonderful owners take price in what they do. I would recommend this to anyone. They play 50's music and we can watch tv while we eat as well. Overall 5/5

So yummy! Not very expensive and very fresh and delicious. I had the pork lovers and my friend had the pork ramen soup. Very nice service including a free sample of Kim chee. Picture is of my leftovers

The Poke here is pretty decent. But the main reason to head here is the dumplings! They are homemade and made fresh by Mama herself everyday, no frozen stuff here! And they are fabulous. Ask about the bone broth soup on the DL! I'm addition to Poke and dumplings you can find a nice variety of cooked bowls like spicy chicken and pork belly. I noticed this time around there is also ramen on the menu! I will definitely be back to try it! And you'll know when you meet THE Mama is a personality for sure!

Tuna poke bowl! And their pork Bao

What is up with Poke Bowls in Colorado Springs? I could buy better Poke Bowls at grocery stores in suburban Austin, Texas.

Killer vibe as always. It has been almost two years since I've been here again, and man have I…read moremissed it. The crew was awesome and it's always cool to me to see how hands-on every single person on the staff is. I was super hungry so I ordered the Niçoise salad which was perfect. The vinaigrette they have is flavorful and I would put it on anything. Since I've been on a ramen kick lately I had to have the wabi-sabi ramen which I highly recommend to everyone. Drinks! I got the good luck, outlaw and it was bright, not too sweet, gingery. If you're not used to consuming turmeric this may kick start your digestion so be wary if you're going somewhere with limited restrooms. Good for the gut really means GOOD for the gut. If you've never visited this little spot, don't be afraid to try something you may have not heard of. Shuga's is avant-garde dining, with a menu of all different kind of items that somehow still co-exist without sacrificing flavor, but still shows love to that menu item's traditional style. When you go there, you'll know what I mean. Have fun!

The weather was beautiful so we took advantage of the outdoor seating. The menu featured some delicious and unique items. I opted for the bruschetta & soup combo. The coconut shrimp soup was my absolutely fave! So so good! The bruschetta were hit or miss for me, I liked the goat cheese with grape but the salmon I wish had more flavor. Overall we enjoyed the meal & some great lattes too! An awesome spot to start the morning at.

Tong Tong Korean Restaurant is an absolute flavor bomb and easily one of my top 3 Korean…read morerestaurants in Colorado Springs. Every single visit reminds me why I keep coming back. The Kimchi Jjigae is phenomenal--deeply flavorful with just the right amount of sour and spice. It's bold, comforting, and tastes like it's been simmering with intention. The kimchi pancake is perfectly crispy and insanely delicious, and the tteokbokki brings the heat with a spicy, addictive sauce that keeps you going back for "just one more bite." Don't skip the house-made cinnamon-ginger tea--it packs a warm, delicious punch and is the perfect way to round out the meal. And the banchan? Never-ending, always rotating, and every single one is different, delicious, and dangerously addictive. The service is just as great as the food--friendly staff, attentive without hovering, and clearly on top of things. The restaurant is busy (always a great sign), but we didn't wait for a table at all and were seated immediately. The ambiance ties everything together: warm, lively, and comforting without feeling chaotic. It's the kind of place where the energy makes the food taste even better, whether you're there for a casual meal or a full-on comfort-food fix. This place nails flavor, hospitality, and atmosphere all in one. If you love Korean food--or want to fall in love with it--Tong Tong is a must.

The sundubu was very fresh and hot, but a bit too spicy for me. My partner enjoyed it and liked the balance of flavors! The fish was grilled perfectly, but it is one of the dishes where you have to pick out all your bones. The fish had crispy skin on the outside and tender meat on the inside, and it paired very well with the bonchon provided. The waitresses were very kind, and one of them helped pack up leftovers for us :)
