Both my husband and I enjoyed this place. It was a spur of the moment and my husband wanted ramen. Looking at the reviews we came here. Glad we did. Pros: It's a good size space with a counter to order food. We got the pork belly bao buns and an order of the shumai. I then got the Menya special poke bowl and husband got the chicken ramen. The bao buns were really really good. They remind me of dim sum out in California. The shumai had a great shrimp taste but not overpowering.I really enjoyed the Menya poke bowl. There wasn't a lot of sushi rice and more of salad greens. That I was grateful for. Cons: My husband said his chicken was dry, though submerging it in the ramen broth made it tolerable. Recommended? I had a colleague that was visiting my work office from out of town and he wanted to grab some lunch. I let him pick because he was the guest and he decided to pick Menya for some ramen. Well, it is the middle of summer and too hot for ramen (for me at least lol) so I let him get his ramen and I got a build your own poke bowl. I got spicy tuna, seaweed salad, edamame, crab, avocado, jalapeno, and cucumber with the sriracha sesame sauce on it. It was soooo good! It was my first time there even though it's around the corner from my office. I will definitely be going back on another lunch break sometime. A little ramen and poke shop in the corner of the Promenade Shops at Briargate, this was a nice surprise. Staff was patient and friendly as we had our orders upfront. They take credit card. Handed us water cups without asking for them. Bus your own table - bowls and utensils into the back. They also have bubble tea in plastic containers which were ok - overly sweet but bubbles at least were the right texture although ice made it hard to get all of them. The Menya special ramen was excellent. Ramen noodles just right, firm and chewy, the soup was rich but not too oily and not too salty, a difficult find in the US. The spicy miso my wife loved and they even had extra spicy chili oil in case you need it spicier ($0.25 each). The gyoza we'll have to try again later, and the bulgogi bowl was nice and filling, had it over two meals. Miso soup was good, too. Will have to come here again when in town! Excellent gyoza and Ramen! Despite other reviewers experiences, the staff here was friendly and helpful and greeted us upon entry. We ordered the Gyoza, which came pan fried, hot and delicious. My husband had the curry bowl while I ordered the vegetable Ramen to which I added some spicy chili oil. Everything was delicious. This is my first review of Menya. I've been ordering their poke bowls but this time I tried their ramen. It's a pretty basic ramen and definitely not worth $16. I ordered the Menya Special Ramen. Broth is not rich enough. There's no depth to it and usually, that's what you want in a ramen. Noodles are okay, good bounce and texture. Toppings were questionable.. spinach? Paid extra $2 for Ajitsuk Tamago (egg) and you can see how it's not even a whole egg and very broken. So if you're craving for a really good ramen bowl, this isn't it. If you're just hungry and want ramen, sure why not. I've tried their poke bowls multiple times, I would say fish to rice ration is kinda bad. What fills the bowl is the toppings you would put, so you won't get fish in every bite. We just order from them just because we get a good deal in Uber for ordering. read more

Been here again about a week ago with family and we were a bigger party. It started raining outside, so we had to transfer inside. It's a smaller restaurant, but luckily it fit all of us. Went with the Menya special and it didn't disappoint. We love that we can order noodles (udon or regular) on the side for the littles and it's the perfect size for them. We'll definitely be back when we're craving for some good ramen. read more

My husband and I always go to this place! Great food, always clean and great service! The dumplings are fresh and homemade and delicious! The soups are always super hot and extremely flavorful! This was the worst ramen I've ever had and the service was also completely terrible. There was this chick on her phone sitting at the register and she was rude for no reason. My guess was because I was actually making her do work since the place was dead as a graveyard. I make my order to go and they pack it up and I'm thinking it's going to be pretty good because it feels piping hot. Well, that was only the soup base that was hot. The other ingredients were cold and up top of the soup in a separated container. The ramen was clearly a packet they just put in there instead of anything fresh. Got home and plopped the ingredients into the soup base and started eating when this weird, off flavor came out from the pork pieces. They were disgusting and tasted like they were old and sitting out for a while. This meal was 20$. 20$ is a lot of money and if you're looking for ramen, I guarantee literally soup in your shoe with noodles is better than this place. In my top 3 favorite restaurants to eat in Colorado! It's so hard to find spicy miso or tantan ramen, and Menya has both. I personally like the spicy miso more--and by like, I mean love. It's SO flavorful. It's spicy, vinegar-y, umami, salty and who doesn't love a marinated ramen egg? I can't get enough of it. I'm a tiny 4'11" girl and I'll eat the entire thing in one sitting. The tantan is a bit more mellow, but still a great option. Their bulgogi is also very good with sweet and umami flavors. It's what my boyfriend gets every time we go and I make sure to steal some bites. If those aren't your cup of tea, their menu is extensive. It'll be hard not to find something you're interested in. They have rotating specials and bubble teas as well. Employees are friendly and the service is FAST. Ambiance is a cute little slice of Japan. If I'm ever in the Briargate area, this is where I'm going. I like their ramen more than every single other ramen I've tried in the Springs. read more

I went here for lunch and you order at the counter and then find a table. I got a couple starters since I was not in the mood for ramen at the time. They also have poke bowls so lots to choose from. I got a pork bun and the shumai. I also ordered a drink which they have a fountain set up to help yourself. I chose a table and sat down. As I was waiting - I saw my food at the bar area sitting there. I wasn't sure if it was brought to me or I get it. It sat there for probably 5-7 minutes. I finally got up to ask and the employees behind the counter said if I knew it was mine - I can grab it. I then noticed a lady after I sat run the other food. Interesting... I did enjoy my selection. Shumai was good and bigger than most places. The pork bun was good. It had crunchy onions in it to give texture. Having two apps did cost my probably the same as a bowl of ramen. Fast food ramen. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't what it should be. For example the ramen noodles were rubbery/chewy and not in that good way. The soft boiled egg was cold in the warm broth. Maybe this is opinion but it would be better warm. Where there should have been a slice or two of dried seaweed was a couple baby spinach leaves, so at a price of $15+ a bowl it falls short. I ordered a side of spicy protein and the meat was good, but it was just smothered with straight thick Sriracha. A little effort would go a long way at this place. I've only had Menya delivered, but they probably have the best to-go packaging. Normally, you get something delivered, and it's in a blank white styrofoam container. Presentation wouldn't be as great as if you had eaten at the restaurant. But, Menya's packaging was great! Ramen was awesome. Why are the bean sprouts and spinach not cooked? The soup isn't piping hot like pho where you can just shove the veggies into the soup and it'll get cooked. This just confused me. I was not a fan of it at all. The broth also doesn't taste like any of the traditional spicy miso ramen soups I've had in the past. I couldn't quite place the taste. - Chashu Ramen - 4 stars. It comes with 5 pieces of chashu I believe instead of the 2 in the other ramens. Broth is flavorful and this one does taste like traditional tonkatsu ramen. *SERVICE* It definitely could be better. We came in probably 45 minutes before closing and no one was at the register. This is one of those places where you order upfront and they bring the food to you when it's ready. We kinda lingered a little bit, checking out the menu on the screens. After we figured out what we wanted, still no one came up to the register. We see some employees preparing some poke bowls but we also see some not really doing much in the back. They did see us at the register but still no one approached us.
