Since I was in CO Springs for my Birthday, I opted to try my luck with a new spot. The ambiance is super upbeat, and beautifully decorated internally. The service was ok, our server was a bit distracted, but she got better once we asked for certain things. We tried a few apps: 1. Cucumbers had a delish sauce, but we felt the cucumbers were a bit too thick for our liking. Still good flavor though! 2. Green Beans: this was absolutely delicious, sitting in such a great garlicky sauce. Could eat these all day and even considered a second one My husband and I opted for the Short Rib Ramen, for the steep price it came with such a large amount of meat. Let me start off by saying that the vibes at Night Ramen are so good. Yes, it's a little loud. Yes, the lighting is dim and the menu is a little hard to read. BUT, it's kind of.. perfect? The broth is so flavorful and the toppings are perfect! I'm used to paying a lot for ramen, but I could see how this could be a little expensive. But for the portion and toppings, I think it is a really good price. Is the spicy pork miso ramen actually spicy? I don't think so, but it was so flavorful! And the short rib ramen melted in your mouth. Also the sauce for the Dan Dan noodles was out of this world. I love anything peanut so this sauce was decadent. The apps were super good too! We tried A LOT. Probably too much but that's okay. The dumplings with the chili crisp on top were great. The crab Rangoon was very crab centered which is nice especially when most places basically just do cream cheese. The crispy rice salad was refreshing and the pineapple added a nice tart sweetness. And the mushroom fries were super fun! Also the cocktail we got was really well balanced and refreshing. Everything came out so fast. With not very many good choices for Japanese food, I was pleasantly surprised with the authenticity and taste of the ramen and appetisers. However, I deducted one star because we have to ask many times to fill up water. I wishes they leave a water jar or give us a bigger glass. So, we don't have to nag our waiter much. Five stars for ambiance. We sat at the bar because there was a 30 minute wait for a table. The bartenders were really nice and accomodating. There were three of us in our party. We each ordered drinks, one appetizer to share, and ramen. Everything was overpriced! The crab rangoon were $12 for four pieces. Sticky ribs were $16 for three ribs. I ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen which was $21. It was one of the worst ramen bowls I've ever had. The broth wasn't good and wasn't spicy either. The pork katsu on top of the ramen was soooo dry. My friend had the Tokyo Shoyu which had chashu pork, and she said her pork was dry as well. The half of a softboiled egg was probably the best part of the bowl. The triple chocolate cake was delicious. I can't believe they charged me $12 for the 7 Deadly Sins Mocktail which is ginger beer with essentially a splash of bitters. They have ginger beer on the menu for $7. I guess a splash of their "7 Spice Simple" was worth a $5 upcharge. The drink tasted just of ginger beer. Overall, the appetizers were good, but overpriced for quantity. The ramen wasn't good. I really liked the vibe here too. We all paid $61 to $85 each. This was a one and done for us. read more

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Gavin was our server and he was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave amazing drink and food recommendations. For appetizers, my friend and I, had the deviled eggs, dumplings and crab rangoon. All three are flavor bombs in your mouth. For my entree, I ordered the Dan Dan Noodles; unfortunately, I didn't like them as they weren't made in the traditional way I have had before but Gavin and another server were very understanding and helped me find a replacement. I ended up going with the Spicy Pork Miso. I was skeptical because when they first opened I felt like the pork got soggy but I will say this go around, it was such an improvement from the last time I had it. Came here with a party of 9, catching up with friends who moved away. This place does not do reservations, and your whole party must be there to sit. We got lucky and had no wait. They also do not split checks. They said they could take multiple forms of payment, but it would be split evenly. Our tab was over $400. We had one person pay and just paid that person back. Keep this in mind. That was a shock and would keep me from coming with a big group ever again. I ordered the honey deuces, it was more tart than I expected but was strong. I also ordered the Tokyo Shoyu because the pork sounded good, and it was! The pork was so tender and falling apart. The corn paired so well with the ramen and broth. I easily ate everything and left nothing behind. The spoons they gave to drink the broth were original and large. I loved the taste of the food and would like to try other ramen. Also the it's very pricey, so keep that in mind. The prices stopped me from ordering an appetizer. I don't like how they do not make special requests on the food, so you can not remove anything. This would not be a place for a vegan, and they only have one vegetarian option. My vegetarian friend had to give her egg to someone else as they would not let her request to not have it. Hopefully, they are more kind to people with allergies. The service was pretty slow, our waitress would disappear, and placing our orders took a while. We were there for 2 hours because of waiting to order and then waiting for the food to be served. I wanted to order a dish to go for my boyfriend, and by the time the waitress came back, I was done with my meal. But I ordered the shrimp tempura rice, and that was actually very quick, so luckily, my friends didn't have to wait on me. This was their opening week, so I know they were busy. What a great place! Me and my daughter went here for Columbus day at school. She saw it all over her Tick Tacks and wanted to experience the trendy spot together. Although it wasn't as authentic as I desired, but me and little Preighsleigh loved it anyway. Just visited this place on a snowy Colorado night in April and was craving a bowl of ramen. Had heard about this spot that's fairly new in the ramen scene and also owned by other places in downtown like White Pie, Dos Santos and Sushi Row. You're paying for the ambiance, music was a bit too loud to have good conversation but that's alright. The food is pretty good. Definitely a fun place to check out. The service was great too. Now on to the food. A highlight for me was the pork dumplings that are made from scratch. It was well seasoned and pan fried to perfection and with a soft skin. It's not easy to do trust me! We tried the spicy miso pork ramen and the beef short rib shoyu ramen. Both were good but we found the beef ramen too salty. I'd say the short rib was perfectly cooked and tender, melt in your mouth. It tasted like a good bowl of beef noodles. The ramen noodles are made from scratch and it shows. We also got the green beans which were also a tad too salty. If the salt levels were lower it would've been perfect. The enoki mushrooms in both ramens came almost raw so it didn't fully soften to my liking so that's a bit of a downside but other than that it was good flavor. I'd say it's a decent spot for ramen albeit overpriced but as I said before you're paying for ambiance and probably location as well. I'll say first that everyone there was incredibly nice and attentive. The vibe is cool, and ramen slaps. I have always been impressed with their ramen... Although, their quality and portion size of their appetizers has gone down. The kimchi fried rice isn't as flavorful and is very oily compared to the fried rice they served a couple months ago when we last went. The sticky ribs are incredibly small. Previously the appetizer portions were worth the price, but I don't feel that way anymore. I also ordered one cocktail and it was incredibly weak. We walked through the shady patio area and into the building where we were asked if you wanted to sit inside or outside. We chose to eat inside to check out the decor. I love the many golden Lucky Cats waving from the wall above my husband's head - perfectly apropos, considering the menu decoration is all about cats or cats in Japanese drawings. The silk lanterns are also beautiful and really add to the ambience. The hostess seated us with menus and gave us water to start. While the menu is not huge, we still had a hard time deciding. My husband ordered the mushroom miso Ramen and I had the spicy pork miso ramen. Since there was no iced tea, my husband ordered a Diet Coke while I decided to try a cocktail, the Tequila Mockingbird. When it arrived, the cocktail was pretty small, but pretty strong as well. It was tasty and very pretty. Be aware, the cocktails do not have prices on the menu but run about $16 each. The deviled eggs came out next and were incredible! They're only five of them, sadly, because I could've made a meal of them. They had a unique variety of flavors, but all tasted great together. The green beans came out next and sautéed in soy sauce and garlic chips and sesame seeds. We're very tasty although my husband thought them a little salty. Our ramen bowls followed not long afterward. My husband said his mushroom miso. Ramen was tasty but not very hot, temperature wise. The mushrooms were quite needy and the broth was very tasty. My spicy pork loin also looked and smelled delicious. The pork was fried as a cutlet and sliced and placed on top of the noodles and vegetables. The pork itself was fairly spicy, and there was a touch of spice in the broth as well. All in all, very, very good! Throughout our meal, our server Michelle, as well as the manager, Cameron, and other staff came by to check on us and make sure we were enjoying our meal. Service was outstanding!
