    CRAB RANGOON
    Aundya A.

Night Ramen is such a great addition to the Colorado Springs downtown. Their vibe is chic and trendy with a great Japanese theme flowing through their menu and decor. Loved sitting at the bar with the super helpful staff who gave great recommendations. I absolutely adored the cats everywhere! What I ordered and enjoyed: MELON 8 BALL (Roku gin, midori, lemon juice, simple) House Shot CRAB RANGOON (Crab, cream cheese, wonton, sambal gastrique) TOKYO SHOYU (Chashu pork, shoyu, charred corn, bok choy, egg, pork broth)

    CRAB RANGOON

Dined on a Friday evening. Seated around 5:10 PM. Server: Bryce. 5/5 - very attentive and refilled our water glasses regularly Ambiance - very cute. Especially all the waving cats on the wall. Although some of the cats arms weren't moving so the decor felt a bit uncared for. Food: overall average = 5/10. Apps: - crab rangoons - 9/10. They had real crab. It was delicious and right out of the fryer - green beans - 2/10. So incredibly salty that we couldn't eat all of it. Entrees: - short rib rice bowl - 4/10. Way too much rice. The beef was tough. Veggies were the highlights of the dish. - spicy miso pork ramen - 5/10. Also not too flavorful. Added a whole spice bomb / chili sauce and the sauce was still bland. The pork was good though. The online photos showed the dish with mushrooms but we didn't get any mushrooms in our dish Dessert - triple chocolate torte - 7/10 Extremely rich and decadent. Couldn't finish it but the bottom dark chocolate torte layer? Heavenly.

Let me start off by saying that the vibes at Night Ramen are so good. Yes, it's a little loud. Yes, the lighting is dim and the menu is a little hard to read. BUT, it's kind of.. perfect? As someone coming from Washington DC, I love the urban vibe in this restaurant. I would come here with friends or for date night! But let's talk food. The ramen is fantastic. The broth is so flavorful and the toppings are perfect! I'm used to paying a lot for ramen, but I could see how this could be a little expensive. But for the portion and toppings, I think it is a really good price. Is the spicy pork miso ramen actually spicy? I don't think so, but it was so flavorful! And the short rib ramen melted in your mouth. Also the sauce for the Dan Dan noodles was out of this world. I love anything peanut so this sauce was decadent. The apps were super good too! We tried A LOT. Probably too much but that's okay. The dumplings with the chili crisp on top were great. The crab Rangoon was very crab centered which is nice especially when most places basically just do cream cheese. The crispy rice salad was refreshing and the pineapple added a nice tart sweetness. And the mushroom fries were super fun! Also the cocktail we got was really well balanced and refreshing. Everything came out so fast. Our server (I think his name was Gavin) was very attentive and had a great personality! But I was shocked at how quick everything came out. I can't complain! All in all, I'd come back here again. I'd honestly sit at the bar and enjoy the great energy, good food, and nice service.

KIMCHI FRIED RICE WITH PORK BELLY

Had dinner here with a couple of the girlies and let me tell you--if you're looking for "authentic," keep it moving. But if you're in the mood for some modern Asian fusion magic, pull up a chair because this is the spot. I kicked things off with the pork dumplings, and wow... perfect little pockets of spicy, savory heaven. For my main, I went all in on the pork belly kimchi fried rice. Zero complaints--actually, scratch that--my only gripe is that I needed a knife to spread that glorious pork belly love all over my plate. Meanwhile, the girlies ordered the braised beef ramen, and holy smokes did it look like a food magazine cover. I was this close to asking for a bite but decided to keep my friendships intact. The vibes? Total hip, cool, city-night-out energy. Service? Fast, friendly, and fabulous. I'm already plotting my return to work my way through the rest of the menu.

I was quite happy with this ramen spot located in Colorado Springs. With not very many good choices for Japanese food, I was pleasantly surprised with the authenticity and taste of the ramen and appetisers. The devilled eggs tasted scrumptious and I almost got another order of them. The ramen was decent. Our server was great and easy-going. One thing to add is I wish they used larger water cups. These things were tiny and I must have asked for 5 or 6 refills! Just a small recommendation. Overall, the interior of this restaurant was amazing and seemed very trendy for this area. Super crowded as well!

Service was impeccable! The ambiance was so cute. There was so much to look at and it was all done so well. The food had so much flavor. For my personal preference it may have been a bit heavy on the salt, but again that's just my opinion. We thought the ramen was good but the apps were where it was at.

Service: Promptly seating & our waiter gave us good recommendations for foods to order and able to explain the reason behind the name of Night ramen. However, I deducted one star because we have to ask many times to fill up water. I wishes they leave a water jar or give us a bigger glass. So, we don't have to nag our waiter much. Food: Deviled egg topped with Tobiko & chopped green onions is smooth creamy textured, not too salty. Good portion. My Tokyo ramen is delicious with two thick charsiu pork, but I founded that the broth is a bit too oily for me. The other is spicy pork ramen which I founded that the broth is pretty hot. Very tasty. Ambiance: The best of night ramen is the well designed, contemporary Japan artistic lucky cat decors. Music is upbeat. Lighting is red. Perfect spot for date night esp. for the cat lovers. Sum up: Love the ambiance, good service and tasty foods.

The deviled eggs were the best! Prices are a little high, including a $5 canned sprite. However, the food was decent. Great flavor.

Night Ramen was such a great find! We ended up sitting outside since it was busy inside -- even though it was cold, the food made it totally worth it. The ramen was rich, flavorful, and perfectly comforting, exactly what you want on a chilly night. The vibe was fun and relaxed, and the whole experience just felt easy and enjoyable. Amazing food, great atmosphere, and definitely a spot I'd come back to again (maybe with a coat next time!).

The Chicken Ramen was amazing and flavorful! Server was really nice in letting me try wine and figuring out what i liked. Super cute inside a little dark but tables had little lamps

NEW Favorite Spot in Colorado Springs! We tried Night Ramen and were seriously blown away. The deviled eggs were incredible, the green beans were hands-down the BEST we've ever had, and the ramen (I ordered the spicy shredded chicken) was absolute perfection -- full of flavor, the right amount of heat, and so satisfying. On top of the amazing food, the service was flawless. Friendly, attentive, and fast. We officially have a new go-to. If you're in Colorado Springs -- just go.

We came here for dinner on a Friday night, and it did not disappoint! The vibe was fantastic, with plenty of seating options both indoors and outdoors. The atmosphere felt warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed evening out. We were seriously craving ramen, and this was exactly the right place to satisfy that craving. We ordered the Beef Short Rib Shoyu and the Mushroom Miso, and both were spot-on. The noodles were cooked to perfection, the broth was rich and flavorful, and the spice level was exactly as described--just the right kick without overpowering the flavors. The service was fast and friendly, which made the experience even better. All in all, this is definitely a spot we'll be returning to. Great food, great vibe, and a great place to get your ramen fix in Colorado Springs.

Five stars for ambiance. We sat at the bar because there was a 30 minute wait for a table. The bartenders were really nice and accomodating. There were three of us in our party. We each ordered drinks, one appetizer to share, and ramen. Everything was overpriced! The crab rangoon were $12 for four pieces. Sticky ribs were $16 for three ribs. I ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen which was $21. It was one of the worst ramen bowls I've ever had. The broth wasn't good and wasn't spicy either. The pork katsu on top of the ramen was soooo dry. My friend had the Tokyo Shoyu which had chashu pork, and she said her pork was dry as well. The half of a softboiled egg was probably the best part of the bowl. The triple chocolate cake was delicious. I can't believe they charged me $12 for the 7 Deadly Sins Mocktail which is ginger beer with essentially a splash of bitters. They have ginger beer on the menu for $7. I guess a splash of their "7 Spice Simple" was worth a $5 upcharge. The drink tasted just of ginger beer. Overall, the appetizers were good, but overpriced for quantity. The ramen wasn't good. I really liked the vibe here too. We all paid $61 to $85 each. This was a one and done for us.

The sashimi slices were large and all delicious and the order was only $37. Of the basic rolls we had the unagi roll and the spicy hamachi roll. I could barely tell what kind of fish was in either as there was so little meat. Of the special rolls we had the kill bill and the Russian roulette.
