You truly can taste the passion for excellence in every bite. It's right there in The Krate, off I-75 at SR 54 in Wesley Chapel. There are limited parking spots along the street out front and ample parking just steps away. The adorable little shop has only one or two tables inside but there are several cute outdoor tables. When I walked in, around 9am on a weekday, it was so bright and cheerful inside. The woman who took my order was very nice and made good recommendations. I ordered the gorgeous croissant a l'emmental and a beautiful berry pastry. I wish I could tell you I ate one there and took the other home for the next day. But that's not what happened! I got to the car with the second one and savored the whole thing right there. I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to enjoy both of them popping fresh. I found that so malicious and completely unnecessary. Why would a restaurant tell a customer not to tip a driver? What does that have to do with the restaurant or its employees? If this is part of their company culture, it says a lot about the owner and the staff. The same way they don't want drivers to be tipped is the same way they shouldn't expect people to support their business.
