Thank you for a beautiful job and delicious as well. The meringue filling was so good.

This is the cake that I got, lumpy and cracked.

100% DO NOT RECOMMEND this bakery. They lack professionalism and basic understanding of customer service. I specifically sent in a picture of exactly the cake I needed and I received something so ugly and not to mention not tasty at all! The fondant was all lumpy and cracked. When I called to ask what had happened to my cake and why it was looking the way it was, the owner said she had an emergency and her employee had to finish the cake, seriously ridiculous.

Lena was amazing from beginning to end. Our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful and her happiness and enthusiasm made us all the more excited. She gave us her opinions, shared her thoughts, and helped us come up with the perfect design. She executed the cake phenomenally and I couldn't be happier with my decision to go with Anna's Cake House. Thank you, Lena!

If I can give ZERO star I would!! Do NOT waste your time or money at this DISGRACE of a cake house!!!!! charged $150 for this GARBAGE cake!! the fondant is all cracked and they forget the blue on the neckerchief all crooked lines messed up and smeared lettering we ordered this cake over a week ago we went to pick up the cake, told us it was not ready she said she was going to deliver to us she was 30 mins late she dropped it off in a random location in our space and did not notify anyone we called multiple times the woman HUNG UP on us TWICE we went in to return the cake the woman and her assistant were screaming at us how we "purposely ruined their cake" so we can get a refund!!! when we showed them pictures PRIOR of what we want horrible service, horrible establishment DO NOT COME HERE!! SHAD SHAD AMOT TSEZI!!!!

Lena is the BEST!!! She has done cakes for all my family's special events and she's knows her line of work perfectly. Her cakes are so delicious!! You will fall in love with the unique flavors she has to offer.

It was so embarrassing I sent them the photo on the bottom right corner instead I got something that looks nothing a helmet

Don't go! Trust me! Ordering from them was the Worst decision I made I ordered a chargers cake 1. They spelled the name wrong (suppose to say Sam and they put Vam wth! 2. No one was there when I got there I had to Waite like 20 min 3. the log was wrong (half of it was missing ) 4. It was suppose to be a helmet it looked nothing like a helmet 4. When I complain the lady was being rude saying I'm too picky!! Who says that! 5. She told me there's no possible way that they can make a cake look like the pictures that i sent I told her yes there is I've ordered cakes before then she told me well y did u come here so much for customer service 6. a toy story themed birthday cake

Ordered a Toy Story themed cake for my son's birthday a few years ago. Found Anna's Cake house through Yelp and had never ordered from them before. Ended up being such a beautiful, delicious cake and great price! Very easy to order/work with. I was so happy with how it turned out!!

NYC Cake designed by Anna's Cake House

Lena, the owner of Anna's Cakes, is a gem to work with. I was referred to her by my florist Nellie of Fairy Fou Frou florals. Nellie specifically raved about Lena's roasted almond cake. I was tasting cake bakeries everywhere for my bridal shower, so I figured I would buy my friend a birthday cake to try the goods. I called Lena and her voice was very sweet. She asked what I'd like, and I told her "a pink cake for 10 people, the roasted almond flavor." She complimented my choice and said "Come in tomorrow and it will be ready. $25." The next day I picked up a 10" roasted almond cake that smelled like heaven. It had a pink fondant with white polka dots. You almost don't want to eat it (but you're very glad you did!) Let me tell you, the cake melted in our mouths. Everyone was happy. I knew I had to use Lena again for my sister's going away party (she moved to NYC -- check out her NYC-themed cake!), and I can't wait to use her for my shower. Lena, you are wonderful. She specializes in exquisite wedding cakes, but can do cakes for all occasions. My shower will be Chanel-esque, reminiscent of old Paris. I know Lena will help me pull it off.

Thank you Ana for my daughter's beautiful cake and pastries.

Thank you Ana for my daughter's beautiful engagement cake and pastries. Ana was very nice and professional made my experience easy and stress free. Very helpful. Everything taste great. Thx again

My true rating is more like 4.5 stars, but I'll round up to 5 because my experience here was great. I put in a order for my son's first birthday cake a month before. She provided an almond cake sample, which is their specialty and very tasty. I ended up going with vanilla because of the children and unknown allergy statuses, which also turned out great. Anyway, I was nervous because of a slight language barrier and the fact that I was getting a cake of a random character, but it turned out great -- not 100% exact, but pretty close! We got many compliments on the cake, both in appearance and flavor. It also said "Happy 1th Birthday" in small letters at the bottom, though it wasn't noticed by most and was a funny joke to those who did. Also, the cake was so big... a "20-person" cake would have probably fed at least 35. I'll round down next time!

    Always amazing and delicious!

I have loved Anna's cakes for years! Amazing flavor and quality and always looks amazing. The almond cake is by far my favorite and we always get this for events. The decorations are always incredible and exactly depict whatever you requested. I have seen some outstanding work and the best part is most of it is edible too. I recently had a cake from here brought to me for my birthday and everyone loved it. It also stayed fresh for days after and we were able to enjoy it. The fondant is also especially delicious and soft and doesn't taste "fake". Always happy with the results from here and will continue to go back.

Lina did such an amazing job on my 50th Bday cake!! Looked exactly like the pic I sent herS People literally thought it was an art piece. It was so hard to cut into it as I hated taking apart the beauty she created

Lena from Anna's Cake House is AMAZING!!! I worked with her for a special event earlier this year. MOST other vendors were asking for a fortune for the design we had in mind or were trying to convince us to do a different design altogether. She was so accommodating and took care of us from day one. She talked us through and we designed the cake together with my client, it turned out exactly how we had imagined, if not BETTER!! She also threw in the gorgeous crystal cake stand and delivery for free. The cake tasted DELICIOUS, all our guests wanted more. I would HIGHLY recommend her to everyone, GREAT SERVICE AT A GREAT PRICE

That being said, I do believe the quality is one of the best, so worth it if you happen to be in the area and don't mind a bit of a wait. You can see them making the baked goods in the store and the dough is a work of art. There seems to always be some kind of wait and the outside wait is a tad brutal, but there are a bunch of umbrellas you can borrow from the inside, which is a nice gesture from this place. Onto the goods - the chocolate bars are quite steep. Two of these plus a matcha latte and a single chocolate croissant was around $47, so keep that in mind before you stack too much in your cart. The matcha latte was passable in my opinion as well, since the matcha doesn't stand out. A lot of oat milk was used in mine, which diluted most of the matcha. I guess stick to what they are good at. The standout of course is the chocolate croissant. It's quite flaky. Where the surprise comes in is that there seems to be a custard layer inside, along with melted chocolate around the outer parts of the croissant. It's a unique experience and recommend trying while it's hot.

We were done about an hour before our reservation time. We hoped to be accommodated earlier but saw the long line and crowd waiting as we drove by. We decided to run a couple small errands instead. We arrived about 10 minutes before our reservation. It was still busy, but there were not as many people waiting. The hostess was so warm and welcoming. She let us know that the customers at our designated table were almost done and that they will have it ready in just a few minutes. Unfortunately, those customers decided to linger much longer. Thirty minutes later, they were still hanging around. We fully understood that this was not by any fault of the restaurant. We continued to wait patiently. The hostess was very apologetic and was trying to work out a solution which led to the Floor Manager (Karla) getting involved. We were eventually seated at another table, with the option to move should the other table become available. Karla then took the time to apologize for the wait and unfortunate first impression. As we got started with drinks and a pastry for the daughter, the other table opened. The hostess immediately came to move us. It all went smoothly from there. Table service was casual and attentive. We started with the Chocolate Almond Croissant and the Baguette & Bordier Butter. The daughter tried the Iced Matcha Latte. For our entrées -- Shakshuka, Patty Melt and Brioche Eggs Benedict (with salmon). I was eager to try the Potato Gravlax, but it was sold out. :( Everything was so, so delicious! Fresh and flavorful. Lovely presentations. Very good portions. As we were finishing, Karla came to our table again to express her gratitude for our patience and understanding. She gave me her business card with an offer to contact her directly should we need another reservation. On our way out, I stopped to compliment the sweet young hostess for a job well done. Wonderful experience. Beautiful decor. I would give Oh La La 10 stars if I could! We will most certainly be back!

While we missed out on the pastries, we each got to try their bread in our respective meals which were well buttered and toasted and had a nice crunchy outside and a soft chewy inside. My friend basically inhaled her croque monsieur, and I kept marveling at each element of my meal: cashew cheese with a salsa macha, a marinated wild mushroom, and an avocado for texture to put on my delicious toast. Unfortunately, they didn't have any cinnamon rolls the two times I stopped by. (I think it had something to do with how their AC is currently out and awaiting repairs). Not wanting to leave empty handed, I decided to get a few slices of cake instead. And boy am I glad I did! So far I've tried their red velvet cake, vanilla cake with strawberry frosting, and a seasonal strawberry cake. The cakes were all rich and on the denser side, and were a cross between moist and crumbly. Each cake also paired exceptionally well with the velvety thick frosting. So the backup plan was a rousing success, as all three cake slices were fabulously indulgent and the perfect treat. ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. We chose outdoor since it was such a nice day out. They have all of their desserts on display in the case, so you can peruse the options and see what looks good. So many of the desserts looked good, like the matcha yuzu chiffon crepe cake or the rose and lychee crepe cake. We ordered via the kiosk and got the mango sunshine souffle pancake ($16.50) and well as a couple drinks. My drink was the white peach lemon jasmine bliss ($6.25), with 50% sweetness and less ice. Even though there are signs everywhere saying that it takes 15-20 minutes for the souffle pancakes to be cooked, ours came out super quickly, in 5 minutes or so. We got it with the sauce on the side, but I regret doing that as I saw others getting it with the sauce on top and it was beautiful. The pancake was super fluffy and a bit eggy as well. We all really enjoyed it with the mango sauce. I made the mistake of eating the pancake first before trying a sip of my tea. The pancake was pretty sweet, so I could barely taste my drink, but I think it was good? I could taste a bit of the lemon but definitely not the white peach, which is a lighter flavor. I got a slice of their Hokkaido cheese cake roll for $7 to go and had it the next day. It was okay but definitely a bit pricy for what you get.
