I initially found Laura via Yelp a few years ago when I needed a custom cake for my boyfriend's (now husband's) 40th birthday. The design required a lot of detail work and was based on a vintage synthesizer (something that Laura was totally unfamiliar with). But despite that, she created a cake that was incredible and more than I had hoped for. I asked her for business cards so we could lay them out next to the cake because I loved it so much. Photos ended up online and and were reposted everywhere. Oh yeah, and it tasted amazing and we ate the leftovers for a week. A couple years later, we called her again for our wedding cake. We didn't even bother with anyone else. Once again, not a normal design. Once again, she nailed it and our friends lost their minds when they saw it. Laura - I didn't see you when you dropped off the cake in Glendale but THANK YOU AGAIN! She did such a phenomenal job!! I was very impressed, not just with the way the cake looked, but her customer service as well. She's easy to work with and very sweet. The first time I worked with Laura, she created a black on black two tier Victorian-esq cake for my birthday. It was a complete showstopper that tasted as good as it looked.
