I had ordered 48 cupcakes here for a dinosaur themed birthday party. I thought the cupcakes were going to be exceptional but it was completely underwhelming. The Oreos were not even crushed well. These cupcakes completely tasted like store-bought chocolate cake, and store-bought frosting. It was very embarrassing to present these cupcakes to my guest. On top, the owner asks for a full payment ahead of time before receiving the product. Not even a deposit. I will definitely not recommend this place for cakes. The quality was completely sub par and I could've made this myself. I'm all for supporting small businesses but note that she runs her shop at home. I thought it was an actual brick and mortar. I needed a cake for my sisters birthday and figured it's probably going to be a lot better going through a boutique bakery rather than the larger companies like Porto's. I was very satisfied with not only the design and taste of the cake but how easy It was to order. She even offered to have it ready the next day.. They came and did a taste test and came to an agreement of a flavor. But when it was time for the cake they found out it was a whole different flavor and didn't like it nor finish it. This review is dedicated to the owner of this establishment, a couple only experiences a wedding one time in their life. The cake was horrible, the taste and the quality of the cake was below par. Not only did we bring this to the owner Ani's attention but she ghosted us and Refused to refund our money, not even half of what we paid. Didn't offer any type of compensation. My wife was left heart broken, as a husband to see his wife so heart broken over something that played a major part in our wedding is the worst. I wouldn't wish this on anyone, we had to toss our cake out because of how bad it was. We planned on saving a piece and freezing it for our anniversary. We will never get to fix our wedding night. We will never get to have that piece we sampled, we will never get to relive our wedding night. We are huge supporters of independent/small companies. We are the people who help your name. We build your credibility. We had to watch our guests take bites of their cake and a sour expression come off their faces. How do we explain this? We had to explain it one by one what happened, it was a fiasco. I picked up enough unfinished cake plates to put the cake back together. If you do choose this place for your birthday or wedding or party I ask you to proceed with caution and if you have an issue with your cake to bring it to the owners attention in person or she'll ghost you. I get it though, it wasn't your wedding Ani. But at least have the decency to know your customers feelings and take the time to understand how they feel. If you're paid for something do it right. I am beyond disappointed in Pink Oven Creations. I have used this company many times and I considered this person a friend but she treated me like a customer and nothing more. She acted like she is doing the worlds biggest favor for me when she and her cousin who does the flowers charged me an arm and a leg. She charge me $150 per macaroon tower that look like the size of my hand, I counted the macaroons and there were no more than 25 to 30 macaroons on the tower. She tried to say that there were 4 to 5 dozens of macaroons on each tower. The cake was discussed to have a marble cake and I asked her if she can make this exact image and she said yes of course I can. As you can see this is not what I requested please review the image below. When going back-and-forth regarding the cake We agreed-upon a three layer cake and she could not deliver and made the bottom layer fake foam and never discuss this with me. She stated she had to bake another sheet of cake and not charge me for it because of her own mistake and not able to make the cake not sink in. It's not my problem if you don't know how to make your own cakes you do not put the costs on the customer and you do not tell your customer/friend that I didn't charge you for it. I never thought I would be treated like this by her. I have recommended so many people to her and this is the thanks that I receive.
