Incredible experience.. Needed a cake for an Engagement Party without a lot of time.. I messaged and sent a picture of a cake I found that fit our color scheme.. Rustika owner replied promptly and was more than accommodating.. Everything was handled by phone and when we picked up it was EXACTLY what I wanted and it was perfection.. Best looking and best tasting cake I have ever had.. There was not one drop of cake leftover. I would highly recommend this company for any cake or dessert need you may have.. and I will make sure all my friends know about this wonderful establishment... Thank you for making a special day stress free and perfect.. The cake always makes the statement.. You made our families day!

Really wanted to like this place. But the only good thing about the experience was the waitstaff. Sadly, won't be back.

Service was amazing. The food was as good. It would be nice to see more vegan vegetarian options but overall good atmosphere.

When I first stepped in it was very cozy warm feeling. They had a great selection to choose from and fair pricing as well. Super good bistro vibe, lively, with great ambience. I had a big beautiful croissant filled with their delicious chicken salad...For taking home, I picked up a few each of butter croissants, chocolate croissants, kouign-amann, and a beautiful baguette..also, 3 patés de fruits, one giant cinnamon churro cookie, one bourbon chocolate pecan and one sticky toffee cookie. When I made it home this evening, I sprinkled a bit of water on the baguette and popped it in a 450 degree oven for 4 minutes (that makes it just as crusty and soft and perfect as when it first came out of the oven)..I put sliced peppered smoked pork tenderloin, mixed spring greens, brie and whipped up a pineapple jalapeno jam to dress it with. That baguette slapped! Delicately crisp outside, beautifully chewy but soft inside. Perfect flavor! Check them out. https://www.facebook.com/share/17AzqRtugs/

Had a meal at La Madeleine for the first time in a long time. Went for breakfast around 11 a.m…read more I was disappointed. First of all, what restaurant does not have sausage and bacon when they have the breakfast menu out? How does that happen exactly? Even if the Sysco truck did not bring it, the manager is not aware of H‑E‑B? I mean, go pick some up. At the very least, tell customers, up front, there is no bacon or sausage when they order. Not when they have gone through the line to pay. "Uh. Did anyone mention we do not have sausage?" Me: "No. I'll have bacon then." Him: "Um. We don't have bacon either. How about turkey bacon?" Nobody likes turkey bacon. They plated the scrambled eggs, French toast, and the offending turkey bacon all on one small plate. Normally pancakes or French toast comes on its own plate so it is not tainted with runny eggs or greasy bacon. The Croque Madame was dry, room temperature, and generally disappointing. It was like it was cooked 5 hours prior. The Cesar salad's lettuce tasted of chemicals. Though not crowded, service was horrible. There was not one employee who smiled nor said anything nice at all. To anyone. Ever. Then I saw the manager who looked so miserable and like he did not want to be there. None of those employees had actual printed name tags. All, including the manager, had to write their name on their tags. What place doesn't have printed name tags. It's like their employees are temporary and disposable. And guess what? The lack of service, lack of basic breakfast foods, and cold food reflects all of that. Frankly I did not see anyone one customer who appeared happy. Tables all around us spoke of their own disappointing experience. What has happened to La Madeleine? What I know is I cannot go back. There are too many good restaurants who actually want business. It's a miserable place filled with miserable employees making food that reflects all of that. It's been taken off our list of area restaurants to attend.

We spent a relaxed afternoon at la Madeleine in Webster and left reminded why French cafés have…read moresuch staying power. Food: I ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu Baked Pasta, and it was pure comfort. Creamy, cheesy, and generously portioned, with tender chicken and ribbons of ham woven throughout. My daughter chose the Strawberry Nutella® Crêpe, which felt like a little celebration on a plate. Light, delicate, and just sweet enough. My husband went with the French Dip au Caramelized Onions. The beef was tender, the onions perfectly sweet, and the jus rich enough to make every bite worth dipping. We couldn't resist taking home pastries, and they were just as lovely later that evening. Service: Friendly and efficient. Orders came out promptly, and the staff kept the line moving without making the experience feel rushed. Ambiance: Cozy and inviting, with the feel of a neighborhood café. The pastry case greets you as soon as you walk in, and the scent of coffee and baked goods makes it hard not to linger. Overall, it was an easy, satisfying afternoon spot for families or a casual lunch. Sometimes you just want something warm, familiar, and well done. This delivered.

5 stars for coffee and service, 3.5 stars for bakery. This was my first visit to Cherry Moon…read more It's a cute little coffee shop, loved the pink and cream decor and the overall vibe. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond explaining the drinks to me and how they tasted so I could make a good choice. I was stuck between a cookie butter latte and a coconut latte. While I don't usually love overly sweet drinks, I am a cookie butter latte lover. However, since I was getting some bakery items, I decided to go with the less sweet option, so I chose the coconut. It was delicious! The cold foam was so fluffy, almost like whipped cream. The addition of toasted coconut flakes made it the perfect drink. I got the cookie butter cheesecake, Earl Grey tiramisu, and the Matilda (chocolate cake). The Matilda cake was not good, neither my husband or I liked it, and I have never thrown out chocolate cake. It was very dry and had an odd taste (try the Matilda cake at Cactus Jack's! omg), which was very disappointing (and it wasn't cheap!). The Earl Grey tiramisu was much better; it had a nice flavor with a beautiful purple color. I loved the flavor of the cookie butter cheesecake; however I didn't taste any cheesecake flavor, and the texture wasn't cheesecake-like at all, it was more like a cookie butter pudding; but it was my favorite dessert of all and despite the misnomer, I did love it! I would definitely order the cookie butter "cheesecake" again, 5 stars for that for devine flavor! Overall I loved Cherry Moon's coffee and I look forward to going back and trying the cookie butter latte.

The little toasted coconut flakes are such a good addition to the drink too as they add an extra toasty flavor and umph to an otherwise already yummy drink. My friend liked the coconut matcha so much that she basically chugged it. They also offer a wide selection of pastries and baked goods, which all looked amazing. The decor of the cafe was also so cutesy and girly- perfect for catch ups with friends and possibly taking new pics for the socials! I also saw a couple people working/studying. Staff was really sweet and our matchas were ready so quickly but still tasted good. Cherry Moon also has a drive thru! If I lived on this side of town, I'd probably pass by the drive thru for the coconut matcha every morning..
