Farm house bowl with lavender latte

Great food and service. Place is very popular. Wait on weekends is usually at an hour or more. We used to wait for booth or patio area. Now, we adjusted our time for am earlier brunch. Great family & friends atmosphere. Bar is quick to take your drink order. And give you sufficient time to order meal. Their pecan coffee is our favorite. I tried keto bowl with chicken sausage and another time with fried chicken. Bar is a bit tight to enter & exit. Ladies, your large bag will hit someone at the bar area. Saw it happened a few times. And then two staff members carrying food did a quick dance. They avoided the purses bumping them into the the customers. Please tip your staff especially the bar staff.

Went in for a Thursday breakfast and sat at the bar. The restaurant wasn't very busy, but for the 4 extra servers they had standing around our bartender sure was running her head off. I ordered a hot macchiato, just to watch it sit there at the coffee maker getting cold while our waitress was running food to tables. Ordered the chicken fried steak and egg, egg over easy just to also see it come out at the service window and sit there for 10 mins. Plus my egg was wrong. It seems every time we come to this place they just can't get it together, which is upsetting cause this place actually has some pretty delicious food. Just need better over all service. Plus servers just standing at the bar talking about nails instead of helping customers is so frustrating.

Absolutely amazing food and not terrible pricing. Omelet and grits were cooked to perfection. Great kids menu too and our waitress was a doll

The food was very good. Each dish had a lot of flavor and came out pipping hot. The service was good, they were pretty busy so it was a bit slow. We were sat immediately but there is not an indoor waiting area so if there's a wait you do have to kind of awkwardly stand in the doorway. The banana matcha and pumpkin spice lattes were very delicious (not pictured). There is a bar area and the inside is decorated with pretty wall murals. They offered breakfast, brunch, and lunch with many options for each so I am sure everyone in your party would find something they would like.

This was my first time eating here for brunch, and I was really pleased with the experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and even though there was a wait when we arrived, it wasn't too long--which was a relief since there isn't much room outside to wait. The food was delicious with generous portions, and our server was both attentive and friendly. For a first visit, everything exceeded my expectations. I'd definitely come back again!

Our experience was fine here, nothing exciting and is just something casual to come to. I would recommend sticking to basic/simple dishes as anything that seems unique on the menu, is average. The Lemon Blueberry Ricotta Pancakes seemed promising, and familiar as First Watch has something similar. It honestly just came out to be a slightly elevated blueberry pancake that was a little bit bitter, assuming from maybe lemon zest inside? Not as promising for the price. The chilaquiles were pretty good, simple on the toppings. The avocado amount and the run of the yolk were appreciated and I liked the red salsa flavor. The service was mediocre. The server seemed a little flustered, although the restaurant was not so busy. Apart from these 2 dishes, 1 hot tea and 1 hot chocolate (not pictured) was ordered, and we had to repeat at least 3x per item as he took our order on the ipad.. apart from that, the hot chocolate was served after we were already mid entree. I wouldn't necessarily not come back, but there's other places I would probably visit first unless i'm on that side of town.

First time, and I'm always skeptical when I can't make reservations (I'm just that kind of person) but did the wait list when we were on our way (said 40 minutes, took us about 30 to get there, they were running faster). We were a few minutes late but they put us back on the wait list where we had been. Which was amazing because I just expected to wait another 30 minutes. (We're all easy going. Would have been fine.) It's small but adorable. And the food was delicious. And so fast. My husband, who picked it as his birthday lunch, already wants to go back.

We were visiting the Houston area. And found this place for brunch. Very busy which is good. We made reservations and were seated once our table was ready. Our waitstaff (Maria) was excellent. We ordered outr meals (Benedict for me, omelet for hubs, pancakes fkr the toddler and French Toast for the teen). The food was good. Very fresh! The coffee was nice but could have been a bit stronger for us. Overall, really good experience. If you're ever in the Houston/Pearland area, give them a try but make reservations.

Breakfast was good. We ordered the usual & veggie omelet. Veggie omelet was tasty, served hot. The usual was cooked perfect...asked for eggs over medium, hash browns toasty, bacon crispy...side of sour dough toast. Everything was spot on. I ordered side of fruit, and some tomatillo sauce. Iced coffee was okay, nothing crazy spectacular but good. Overall we were happy brunchers.

We had a great time at Stella's! We came by for a late brunch and were kindly greeted. We started with the brown sugar iced espressos and were so impressed on how delicious they were! They were perfectly made with the right amount of sweetness and espresso flavor. The restaurant has a colorful, cute decor and is cozy. To eat, we has the biscuits and gravy with your choice of eggs and meat and my husband got the chicken and waffles. All the food was very fresh, flavorful and delicious! We really enjoyed everything. Best of all, our server went above and beyond with service and went out of his way to pack my iced coffee to go. Parking was very easy since they have a parking lot! Will definitely come back!

Restaurant was nice and clean. It was busy but we were seated fast with friendly host. Wait staff came by quick to take the drink order and then our meal. Food came out hot and fresh and made to order. Service was fast and they were on top of refills. Well worth the drive and the wait if there is one.

We have been here about 6 times over the past year, we LOVE this place! (It has the same name of my sister that passed in '09, so this is kind of dear to my heart . Yes, I'm aware of whom the place is actually named after. ). Excellent service, genuinely smiling and engaging staff, and we notice that management seems to be very active and helpful. The food is always fresh and with great flavor, the servers know that menu WELL. I recently ate there with my wife and a friend, ordered the chicken and waffles, and the server informed me that the waffle maker had just broken. They immediately got out a new maker, and I got the first waffle made from it (see the photo of the deliciousness ). Super professional, above and beyond! You guys have consumers for life in us!

We were also informed that they stop serving food at 9:30, so pretty much to order soon. Needless to say I was so disappointed and ready to leave. But it being so late, sucked it up. Came here for the sword fish that apparently they no longer serve as their menu had changed. After ordering, I did voice my concerns about the loud music and thankfully they changed it. I was able to enjoy my late night dinner with my husband. We ordered the Kataifi shrimp as an appetizer. They were medium sized served with a spicy tangy sauce. They were very delicious. For my main course I ordered the American red snapper which was also a unique dish as it was served on a corn husk with rice and beans. 3 whole crawfish, a corn and cold salsa verde sauce on the side of the dish. All was delicious except they should have served the salsa verde sauce warm instead of cold. It was still a delicious dish. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak which was also delicious. It was served with a side of green beans, puréed potatoes with a foie gras gravy. They have a descent drink menu. I ordered the Friendswood 75 which was a little too sweet for my liking and my husband ordered the Gin and tonic. They didn't have Sapphire so he opted for the Tanqueray. Overall, our meal was delicious and our server Sandy was nice.

Give that kid a Gold Star - he is my server for life at Red OAK. He took care of us with a smile and quick service, what a shining star they got when they hired him! We were not expecting the food to be as good as it was because we chose this location because of its proximity to our home, the price was very reasonable and the reviews were a 3.8. I ordered a waffle combo and I had 2 sausage patties and 3 over medium eggs and they were able to accommodate me with sugar free syrup that was really good. My wife had the twice over (I may have the name wrong) but it was ham, 2 sausage patties, 2 over medium eggs, and toast with sliced tomatoes. Our food was amazingly delicious given the low price, the smallness of the restaurant, and the lack of a more welcoming vibe, not the service but the atmosphere. Don't get me wrong, it was chill but in a weird kind of half warming way if that makes sense. In a nutshell, I would still recommend this place and will go back. Enjoy!

It is located in a strip of businesses and parking plentiful even with a peak breakfast crowd. This location is one of three located south of Houston. The restaurant itself isn't very big so tables are pretty close together. They also have bar seating if you're eating solo, but no alcohol as far as I could tell. Customer service was ok. Our guy was friendly but there were things left off the order and we had to repeat requests a few times. I started off with coffee. I like that they creamer choices at the table that was also stocked really well. The menu is pretty extensive and there is something to please everyone here. They have a whole page showing they can make your eggs in every which way. They truly did cover all the bases as far as having every variety of breakfast you can think of. This place stays open until 2 so they also have a page of lunch options as well. My family got a variety of different things and not one complaint was heard. I went for something a little different called the Eagle's Nest. It's basically a scramble. It had diced ham, bacon, sausage, peppers, onions and tomatoes scrambled with eggs, hash browns and topped with cheese and white gravy. I specifically asked for sausage gravy as an upgrade but didn't get it. I wasn't about to waste food so I kept it. I think sausage gravy would have made this dish elite. The regular white gravy had to be doctored up with a little more salt and a lot more black pepper. I love a mish mash of food all in one bite so this dish was good once I added my little flair. It came with a side of your choice of bread and I went with sourdough. It was weird that they serve the bread dry and toasted and do not even offer butter unless asked. Overall, we enjoyed our meal here. The minor misses pale in comparison to the good. I would most definitely come back if in the area as this immediate stretch of 518 doesn't have alot of unique options like Pelican.

The ambiance was nice as we walked in, and after being quickly seated next to a window, the atmosphere was nice. They did end up covering the window before we started eating, and the little bulb way above us and candle did not really provide light enough for us to eat (I get it is mood lighting, but I like seeing what I eat). The food was really solid, though. A few times I've been in the past it was all too salty, but this time around it was much better. I got the Farm Bird, and it was very juicy and had a very nice crunch. The Fish and Chips were nice and flaky, while the Pork Chop was extremely juicy and rich. The shrimp in the rigatoni was definitely oversalted, as well as the broccolini greens in the pork chop dish. The appetizers we got (Brussels Sprouts and Spinach Artichoke Dip) were both okay, though I prefer garlic bread to the chip for the dip and the sprouts were a little one note. The whiskey cake itself was very good, though I recommend only one plate for a group of 6 or less because of how rich it is, especially if you get the ice cream addition. Overall a very surprising experience, and while it carries a heavy price tag, it is absolutely a good choice if you're looking for a nicer meal out here.

We can literally sit there for hours talking while our youngest plays in the play area. The lattes are really good, and my daughter loves the hot chocolate. The pastries and treats are a little hit or miss. The almond croissant is definitely the winner and probably my favorite thing we've tried. My middle daughter really likes the brownie. She did say she thinks there may be cinnamon or something else added to the chocolate muffin because there was a flavor in it that threw her off a little. The pecan cinnamon roll was pretty good. The blueberry scone, though, tasted like it had maybe been frozen too long? I'm not completely sure, but there was just something about the taste and texture that was a little off. The savory items are good, but I do think they need to work on reheating them. The chorizo empanada had really good flavor, but the outside dough was still soggy because it wasn't heated long enough. It needed more time to crisp up. The same thing happened with the ham and cheese croissant. The bottom was very soggy, and it was only slightly warm throughout. One thing I really hope First Cup considers adding is nutritional information for their menu items. On our last visit, my 15 year old son came with us and wanted to try some things. He has Type 1 Diabetes, and having nutritional information, especially carbohydrate counts, is extremely important because we have to calculate his insulin based on what he eats. The staff did not have this information available or know where to find it. I know nutritional information is not required for every business, but for families like ours, it's not just a preference. Managing Type 1 Diabetes means constantly making calculations to keep my son safe. Without accurate information, we are left guessing, and guessing with insulin can mean his blood sugar goes too high or too low. As a mom, it's hard enough managing all of the daily decisions that come with T1D. My son should be able to go out with his family, try new foods, and enjoy a normal experience without us having to wonder if we are making the right choice for his health. Having this information available would make a huge difference, not only for people with diabetes but also for customers with allergies or other dietary needs. Even with these concerns, we really do love the feel of First Cup. It's a welcoming place with a great atmosphere, and we will continue coming back. I just hope they consider improving the reheating process and adding nutritional information because those changes would make an already great place even better.
