We've been paddle board camping for the last 3 days and read the great Yelp reviews. They did not disappoint. The folks understand service like no body's business! They had places to charge our cell phones and we're happy to fill our water jugs and put them in their freezers for us. They were happy to mail some letters we had and offered to drive us to the store down the road when we asked where to buy some fruit. When we said no but thanks, they drove down to the store and bought us fruit and wouldn't take any money for it. The little boy Drake bought the fruit with his own money. He just said "pay it forward."

While waiting for my food I watched as the cook came out of the kitchen (she wasn't wearing a hair net) and began talking to other customers. This was about 20 minutes into me waiting for my food. I also watched who I'm assuming is a manager hover over the waitresses while they tried to work. He was also drinking behind the bar. He was nice to me as I came in and when I left, but I felt bad for the waitresses as they tried to work and had the manager nit pick their work ("Can you switch those placemats, they aren't completely straight" is something he said when the place was packed and my family's waitress was busy). The decor looks amazing but with the way the restaurant is set up, you can hear everything from the kitchen. The music for the place was very fitting however. I would only recommend you go here if you have more than enough time to eat.

Perhaps what makes this place so fabulous is that they manage to do so well in so many categories. I'll consider that more in depth next time I make a reservation which may just have to be today.
