This must be the best breakfast place in Angola because it seemed like the whole town was here. The portions are huge and the food delicious. The biscuits and gravy are ridiculous(ly good).

What a hidden gem! Well sized portions, great and quick service, appropriately priced meals, and excellent homemade food! It looked like it's a favorite spot for locals, although plenty of open tables. The Biscuit skillet was fantastic! Highly recommended if you're in town in the morning!

Typical diner food, burrito was mostly potato and was crappy frozen hashbrown style. Ate about a third of it and gave the rest to my dog. Was a shame because the sausage brand used was decent. People were nice.

Arrived Sunday morning around 9 AM and it was jampacked so I knew this place would be good. I read the reviews, of course before I decided to eat here. Older woman, possibly the owner seated us at the table. Another server came by and got us coffee and water, and then our server approached and took her Order food came out hot and quick. Very tasty. Very good. The best part of the meal was the cinnamon butter for my raisin toast. It is a must try. It's a great breakfast place but expect to possibly wait as they are busy. The inside has some cool Decour nothing fancy on the outside.... Park across the street if they're busy

    Today's special!

Breakfast was ok. Nothing special. If you're looking for good breakfast food, go to the Village Kitchen. Trust me.

Pretty decent place. The wheat toast is nice and thick, and I feel the portions and prices are very reasonable. Tasty food.

Quite impressed. Don't judge it by the looks outside. Very good food and good prices too.

I like Mamas because it's not a chain restaurant. It is just your typical breakfast restaurant. They do serve lunch and dinner.

I saw this restaurant from the main street while we were heading to downtown Angola. When we got to…read morethe downtown, there wasn't really anything we wanted to do or see. But, we were hungry. We looked for nearby restaurants (my sister used Google, I think, and I used Yelp), and we both decided that this looked good. I was kind of excited, since I'd seen it earlier. I just love little diners. It's a pretty small restaurant with a very friendly staff. They have a nice variety of meals, and their prices are incredibly reasonable; I got a large salad for under $11, and my sister got a small one for under $9. The small one at home would have easily been $12- $15 at home! Both were huge! I took home probably 2/3 of mine and half of my sister's. and got 2 more meals out of it. And their iced tea was freshly brewed and they kept refilling our glasses. They also had a variety of pies, although we didn't want any. They do charge 3% for using credit cards, but they also make it abundantly clear before you pay; there are signs on both doors, another by the register, and they also tell you. I actually complimented them on how they inform their customers of that fact. If you're hungry and near the Village Kitchen, it is absolutely worth stopping.

We noticed the sign, seat yourself, and found a number of clean tables. We were quickly approached by the server, provided us with a menu and took our drink order. We opted for the turkey BLT, which was delicious and a great portion. We also opted for a cheeseburger, salmon and a beef Manhattan. All our food was cooked great, quick turnaround and great service.

The exterior isn't fancy, but the food was exceptional.
