Went there on Sunday. Walked into a place we're at least 6-7 employees were sitting eating their lunch with multiple tables filled with dirty dishes unbused. Waited about 10 minutes to order. Ordered two Stromboli's. The vegetable Stromboli was so greasy. Had to run to the bathroom after eating only one piece. Ordered the special Stromboli that had no ham and no salami when served. Waitress never checked on us. When I said the Stromboli wasn't right. The answer was...but was it good. . Not the answer I wanted. I heard her tell the cook. No apology. I respect the owners enough to tell them. Check on who you have in charge when you are not there. read more

Shrimp scampi w pasta was placed in aluminum take-out container covered with plastic lid. Shrimp & pasta literally swimming in sauce that is watery. Soup and garlic along with shrimp scampi & pasta all placed in cardboard box serving as a tray. Most of the liquid in shrimp scampi spilled onto cardboard box which seeped into my car seat as I was driving home because there was way too much liquid. They ruined my car seat with all that liquid. Shrimp scampi with pasta doesn't have much flavor. Chicken tortellini soup pretty good although tortellini itself doesn't have much flavor. Garlic bread pretty good. They only have two tables in the restaurant, so it's basically a take out place. Place smells pretty clean when you come in, no stale odors. read more

I've only ordered take out from this restaurant. It's always warm and delivered on time or earlier. Their Margharita pizza is the BEST I've ever had. The difference between other restaurants is they use crushed tomatoes instead of chopped...it is soooooo yummy. Their mozzarella sticks are good but a bit pricey. Tiramisu is good also. I order on that pizza slice app. I wish the description of food was better but I'm not sure if that's restaurant's fault or not. Here's the thing.. the food is pretty good. Good sides, of the sandwiches I've had, all were decent, if not great. Pizza isn't the best in the area, but I do like it.. Unfortunately I've had some bad experienced with their delivery. It's fast, which is great, but there's been twice when the food wasn't exactly as ordered. That's not a huge deal, we've never complained, just pick off what you don't like, and carry on. However for the third time, the pizza we ordered was an absolute mess. Maybe it's too much cheese, maybe the driver doesn't have the box level, maybe they're not allowing a minute or two for it to cool down before they throw a steaming hot pizza into a bag and ship it out... but cheese everywhere, all over the box, the slices weren't recognizable, its just a a pool of cheese.. most recently, there was probably a quarter pound of cheese just melted into the corner of the box, which then soaked through and got all over our table before we realized it. Whatever, no problem, it could have probably used a good cleaning anyway. But that's besides the point. Basically, the delivery process needs to be improved in terms of order accuracy and order care. That's my biggest complaint. The food is good enough for me to be a returning customer, but the delivery service makes me choose others over this establishment because of my experiences. read more

Great sausage, possibly the best around. Undercooked pizza dough with bland sauce. JARRED/CANNED MUSHROOMS. Owner who has no problem telling you his (non-moderate) political leanings while you wait for your pizza. (I have yet to order my pizza with a side of politics? Wtf?) Kept coming back here hoping for more.... but I'm afraid the sausage can't overcome the rest of it. Especially the flabby mushrooms. read more

This place has great pizza! The pizza margherita is especially good. Their antipasto salad is massive, even the small one. All the food is reasonably priced, especially considering the nearest pizza alternatives are Papa Johns and Dominos. I love the location as I am just down the street, but I can see how it would be an inconvenience for others, especially if you have to make a left onto Emaus Avenue. I also like that their full menu is online. All in all, this is a good place with good food at good prices. read more

First time there. Friendly, courteous staff. Ordered a pizza with veggies and grilled chicken. 5 dollar up charge for the chicken. Don't mind paying for something that's good. I was expecting juicy, grilled chicken breast. What came on the pizza was freezer burned chicken strips with chemically enhanced grill marks. Ouch. Must give credit to the crust. Nice balance of crisp and chewy. Sauce and cheese were also top notch. Veggies were also frozen. Would probably go back and try a plain pie. read more

Had a late Saturday lunch buffet and the food was cold. The pasta was dried out and the dessert bar was just about empty. We were told there were no refills on the buffet until the dinner sitting. Whatever was out was all that was left. There was nothing left to dip into the chocolate fountain. First I must say this is not the first time I have been disappointed with food delivered from Mamma Mia's. Trying to be fair and giving them the benefit of doubt,I have refrained from posting on yelp. Tonight is the exception. My steak sandwich was supposed to have mushrooms,and extra cheese. It did not. The sandwich description said nothing about sauce,and it had sauce.......it also had fried onions,which again was not in the description. The roll was not a good sturdy cheese steak roll,but a hoagie roll from the super market,like Maiers soft hoagie rolls. I went to Mama Mia buffet on a Saturday night for the first time and I must say won't be back anytime soon. The food was very cold and I never once seen anything fresh come out the kitchen. The waitress never came out to ask if we needed a refill or anything else. When I went out to for my second plate I came back and my fork was missing.
