However, once I met the staff and, maybe more importantly, tasted the food, I understood why going this route was the right move. It was all great! And at the end of the meal, no clean-up. 09/05/21 We hired David's company for a small backyard wedding- planned with 3 weeks notice. From the start, working with David was easy and effortless. As best laid plans go, the weather did not cooperate- after setting up initially outdoors, the ceremony and first half of the reception was moved indoors due to rain. Never a complaint as things kept changing. As the weather cleared, his incredibly flexible staff moved the party outside and the celebration continued seamlessly. Chef David was unflappable, Lance the bartender was fabulous and Milton and Mario the servers (and general whatever was needed to do guys- from constantly drying off chairs to making sure everyone had whatever they needed as we moved from indoors to outdoors) were both personable and professional. The menu was endless to make selections from and the Food was excellent- presented artistically and absolutely delicious. Cleanup and packaging food was incredible. My kitchen was spotless when they left. I have no reservations whatsoever recommending Tastefully Yours to cater your next event read more

The food is fine but the owner/chef is rude & acts as if he's doing you a favor when you try to place an order. I've encountered this several times, I don't know why I haven't learned my lesson! I'm done though, never again. read more

I ordered catering from here at the very last minute, within a week's notice for my husband's birthday lunch. I work at a very large global financial firm in the city so we do catering all the time and my expectations are pretty high. I wasn't sure what a small town catering company would do. I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered filet, turkey sandwiches, salad, corn on the cob, and fries. The process was easy from start to finish. Everything was done over email, and the food was on time at pick up, still hot when I brought it home. The corn and salad were fresh, the balsamic dressing was very good. The filet was good enough on its own without sauce, though we had the horseradish sauce it came with. The fries were excellent - though perhaps to minimize the steam that makes to-go fries soggy, perhaps find a way to put them in a paper bag. I find this helps when we order take out from Le Jardin Du Roi (though this is a common to-go problem with take out fries anywhere). My only reason for 4 stars is that they have a couple different turkey sandwich options on their site - one with cranberry and one with basil aioli. I ordered the basil aioli, and they sent the cranberry. It didn't bother the guests, but my husband and I don't like cranberry. It wasn't the end of the world, and I will definitely be a repeat customer. David was super fast, responsive and easy to work with and for catering for 6, it was only $160...and we still had leftovers so it's a good amount of food you get for your money. Reasonably priced! We recently hosted an intimate wedding party and I called Tastefully Yours 6 days before the event ! I already knew David Loesch could do it as my brother and his wife said they called him several times with 2 days notice to cater parties of theirs. The food is amazing. Got compliments all night. The extras for me were the wedding cake and the staff ! I wanted a cannoli filling for my wedding cake which he doesn't do himself, but he made it happen! Seems that is his way :). I barely spoke with David, I knew I was in good hands from previous reviews. I did not expect however the added bonus of a great staff. We were lucky enough to have Tastefully Yours cater a party after our wedding. We were off getting married while Dave and his staff arrived, set up and had all the food ready and waiting for our guests arrival. Everything was perfect for our arrival. The food was incredible! We started with a beautiful display of crudités vegetables and assorted cheeses and fruits. I think the hardest part of working with Dave was trying to decide what passed hors d'oeuvres to choose from!!! We decided on ten items that one was better than other! The lobster rolls were wonderful, the Cajun shrimp delicious and the sliders are just amazing. We had a few of vegetarian hors d'oeuvres, my favorite being the watermelon squares with feta,jalapeño & mint! For dinner we went with the homemade butternut squash ravioli with a cider and sage sauce that was flavorful but light and the braised boneless short ribs melted in your mouth. We ended the night with various mini desserts and pastries and many happy guests. We feel we got exactly what we were looking for -- great food provided by a caterer who set up and broke down his operation in an extremely professional manner! read more

I highly recommend Tastefully Yours. I have catered 2 parties with the owner, David Loesch. One for 80 people, the other for 100. First of all, the creations by his chefs are always delicious. His staff are his primarily his regulars, not from a staffing company. And his pricing is very fair. I interviewed 3 different catering businesses. Once I told him he was getting the business, he came to my house to go over the menu & discuss details like number of tables, liquor/soft drinks order (which I purchased myself) & gave me many suggestions. Guests were raving about all his hors d'oeuvres and dinner options! He created 3 main dishes, chicken, salmon and vegetarian. Three days before the party I changed the vegetarian option to a risotto & he was very agreeable about the change & did not charge me more. I definitely would do a 3rd party with him if the opportunity presents itself. read more

We hosted a dinner party for 35 people in our home and thanks to tastefully yours catering, it was a huge success! The staff arrived promptly and set everything up with plenty of time to spare before our guests arrived. Actually, they made sure that everything went like clockwork throughout the evening. The food was delicious and was plated and presented beautifully. They were very attentive to our guests, refilling drinks and anticipating their needs. And when they left my house after the last guest was gone, my house was even cleaner and more organized than when they first arrived! What more could we ask for?! My daughter's wedding venue used the catering company, Tastefully Yours, Inc. located in Briarcliff Manor. Simply put, the food was amazing! David Loesch and his staff were great. David is so easy to work with. He was always reachable by phone or e-mail and was always cheerful, even though I was contacting him constantly about all the little details I was worried about. He was receptive to ideas and did everything possible to accommodate my requests. David was able to easily guide us through planning the menu and making suggestions, because he has twenty years of experience in the field and knows what he is doing. And now to the wedding and the food. I had nothing to worry about. David and his staff were very attentive and friendly. They are like a well-oiled machine. Everything was timed perfectly and everyone got their meals within minutes of each other. The food was delicious. The quality and presentation of each dish was perfection. I was worried about not having enough food during the cocktail hour. David assured me there would be plenty of food and he was totally right. The guests joked that they wouldn't be able to eat dinner. The guests have not stopped raving about how great the food was, from the drinks to the cocktail hour food, to the first course, main entrees, sides and the desserts. People who are always on a diet, commented that his chocolate lava cake was so good that they ate two desserts when they normally don't eat any. The apple tart was equally fantastic and his cookies including his signature mini "ring dings" and "oreos" were out of this world.
