I could just eat those. Had the vinegar based coleslaw which looked oily but wasn't. I loved the poppyseed vinegar red onion style. Mac n cheese was perfect with the brisket and some sweet bbq sauce. We were sad they were out of ribs so go early! My daughter had kids chicken tenders which seemed beer battered. I thought she might bulk (picky eater), but she loved them and devoured her plain fries. Fresh iced tea was perfect on a warm day. Staff was very friendly and helpful in ordering. Everyone there seemed cheerful. The place is small with little parking so we waited for someone picking up to leave. Seemed like a lot of people were picking up to go, but we stopped after a day trip to Cook Forest and ate there. A few big tables inside and a few outside. Very clean. Will absolutely be back & recommending to everyone!

We ordered 3meat platter with smoked Mac n cheese, cornbread, fried green tomatoes, and Mac n cheese balls. The cornbread was the best I've had so far anywhere, and they don't skimp on the butter either. The meats were great tender and delicious. Brisket, ribs, and pulled pork. We sampled 4 sauces they were all good. It was all more than 2 people should eat, but we did it. No regrets here.

I had the Mac and cheese and baked beans, both fresh and added to the meal. Great choices. Service was excellent, food ready when I arrived at the appointed time.

The best thing you could do would be to memorize the menu online, so that when you walk in the door, just stare at the cash register and don't look around. I'm not kidding. Everything, virtually everything in this building is filthy dirty. To open the door to leave I always use a napkin to grab the door handle. I don't think the door has ever been washed, neither has the floor, the walls, the baseboards, any of the fixtures, the napkin holders. I think you get the idea. Apparently Warren City nor County employs any food inspectors and doesn't have any restaurant inspection system in place. So the question is, why do you go back? Two reasons, the pulled pork and the overpriced barbecue ribs. I do not believe that any of it is cooked on site. They have a grill that is for reheating. Everything appears to be cooked offsite and brought to the restaurant. I've never seen them make anything from scratch. I ordered the pulled pork tacos once and I watched them sit on the counter for about 35 minutes before they finished them. I can't imagine what happens when they turn off the lights at night. What starts moving around is something I try not to think about. I'd recommend going there a Saturday afternoon or early Sunday so you don't get the leftovers cause they're closed Monday and Tuesdays. And they're closed all winter so you want to check and see what their hours are if you could find a phone number for them. If you go there, I wish you good luck. I hope you get a great meal, oh by the way, definitely avoid the mac & cheese with pulled pork. The Mac & cheese is mush, way overcooked, you get about a pound and a half, and it is topped with a scoop of pulled pork. Not a lot of effort or imagination in the creation of this delicacy. 1 Star for Service, 1/2 Star for Ambience, I'll let you brave souls rate the food.
