Came over to pick up some bionico. There is plenty of parking spaces available. The server made it after we ordered it. We got a small box of it, and it costed $25.99. This is pretty pricy. I was hoping that it tastes good. I took it to go, and ate it as dessert after dinner. I was disappointed when I had it. The dressing was very watery. The fruits were not sweet except for the apple. The bionico was not worth the money I spent here. Probably will not be back.

salty esquite and watery choco milk

the biónico is watery esquite super salty and the choco milk has barely any choco milk more ice than anything $25 for all 3

I was in town and wanted a fresh veggie juice. The customer service was okay, the vibe didn't feel very welcoming. I still decided to order because I was already there, and this wasn't my first visit. Other times I've visited I tried their banana split, esquimal, pistachio ice cream and diablitos. This visit I purchased the "jugo verde" the flavor was good, but the juice was a little too warm for my liking.

I came here since I was in the mood for some paletas. I got Strawberry and cream ($2.75), Strawberry ($2.25), and mango con chili. Their milk based paletas are $2.75 and their juice based are $2.25. I really like the strawberry and cream the most out of the three. They also sell sandwiches, nachos, bionicos, agua frescas, and tostilocos from what I saw people buy when I ate there. The girl who helped me was nice. $0.50 charge to use mastercard and visa.

I've lived in this neighborhood for over two decades and I've just now came into this local shop. Oh, if it wasn't for Yelp I don't think I'll ever realize there was an awesome Mexican ice cream shop here. I've bookmarked Paleteria for so long, but still didn't make the trip until now. It was a warm Sunday afternoon and I mentioned to my sister, who was driving, that we should stop by since it's on the way home. Shop also makes all the typical Mexican deli, tacos, and etc. besides ice cream pops, chamango and other desserts. There are table seating and an arcade area for the kids to play. Strawberries and Cream: Not too sweet; just the right amount of strawberries. We also got the blueberry and chili mango, but haven't tried it yet. It's still in the fridge waiting for me to take a bite into it. :D Price average $2.50-3.00 - kind of expensive for an ice cream bar, but everything is pretty expensive these days for dessert. The ice cream sandwiches from Cool Haus or Cookies & Cream are roughly $4, so it's just about the right. Definitely, a nice cold treat for a warm day in the SGV! Enjoy.

Oh wow! I wish I had discovered this sooner! I've been working in our satellite office for about 2-3 years now and today was my first day here! I for sure will tell my co-workers about this place. I bought a bunch of paletas that they gave me one for free (hehe). No regrets here, it's natural and only fruit so it can't be that unhealthy, right?!? I got the famous strawberries and cream, mango with and without chili, coconut, avocado, arroz con leche, and something else. Absolutely delicious and refreshing, especially for our hot LA summer days! I also got an esquite. I love esquite, however I did not love theirs. Their esquite gets a 3-3.5 stars. I have had better. I like my corn more on the al dente side than overcooked. Also, something about the mayo they used was just not to my liking. Of course I still ate it though.... It was not bad, just not great. I can't wait to go back. I wanted to buy more paletas but didn't want to seem like a little piggy! I also will be trying their aguas and their cooked food. I highly recommend this place. Place is clean and the workers are so friendly! And no, they weren't trying to push their fajas on me!

PALETAS GALORE! I'm so happy that I found a paleteria that is close by my home. It's a great little shop to stop at on a hot day. They are located inside a shopping plaza close to Papa John's. They make all their paletas fresh. On the hot weekends, sometimes they do sell out of some flavors. I haven't been disappointed in any of the flavors I've tried so far, which are Strawberry with Cream, Coconut, Strawberry, Watermelon, and Mango. They are all about $3/each. The ones with milk are a little more expensive than the ones without milk. I have yet to try other items on their menu other than paletas, but will be definitely continue coming back here! They do accept credit cards and debit cards, but they charge an additional transaction fee, so it's best to bring cash with you.

This is probably the best Ice Cream shop in town. My wife loves the Chamango and kids love the Ice Cream. I enjoy the "paletas", which is a milk based ice cream bar. They are home made and the flavor options are great. They also serve a variety of foods and snacks, such as nachos, sandwiches, hot dogs, etc. They also advertise an "elote bowl", which is corn shaved from the cob and placed into a bowl with chili, cheese and mayo mixed together. Its next on my lists when I revisit the store -- I just need to make sure to save my appetite. Pricing is a bit high, but its made up for in quality. Still one-star in my book :) Note: Credit card transactions is subject to a charge, though I can't remember how much at the moment.

    Diablito
    Iris J.

Minus one star because it left a funk smell of fried lard on my clothes. Other than that my order was delicious. I ordered the Diablito, which is a tamarindo and chamoy ice blended drink with a tamarindo candy straw. At $4.99 it was a little expensive, but the quality was good. It was a great treat, but I doubt I'll be making a habit out of coming here regularly.

Delicious paletas; the service is always on point; and the options are very vast; reminds me a lot of a traditional paleteria.

The unfortunate part is that the ice cream really isn't that good, and the portions are small for what you pay.  What really turned me off, though, was the lack of common sense from the staff. If you've been here, you know they have a display case with slices of cake and pie. Normally you look through the case and point to the piece you want. That's exactly what I did. There were about ten pieces of cake in the case, and I picked one that had the perfect icing-to-cake ratio. The employee asked what I wanted, and when I pointed to the slice she told me, "You can only pick from these two," while holding up two other pieces. Apparently those were the older slices that they were trying to get rid of. They were clearly smaller and, judging by how they were being pushed, probably not the freshest either. Since I was basically being forced to buy something I didn't want, I said I didn't want anything. She just said "okay" and moved on to help the rest of my family. At that point I told my family we were leaving and heading to Bloomfield Creamery in Altadena instead. The employee had every opportunity to use a little common sense and simply give me the slice I asked for. I work hard for my money, and if I'm paying premium prices, I expect to choose what I'm buying. Instead, they lost Madre family of customers for good.

I have been going to Moo Moo Mia for a while now and it has been one of my favorite delights when it comes to craft ice cream. They offer monthly flavors along with some more original staples and lets be honest, with summer looming, knowing a great ice cream spot is always a must. There are monthly flavors so I recommend swinging by early in the month to check out what great flavors they have cooked up. At the time of my visit, I was hooked on the Strawberry Koldski which was inspired by the Danish roots and a mix of sweet and tart Strawberry. I got a double and I simply wanted more. My go to, is the Oreo and Cream which is one of the best Cookies and Cream variants I have ever had. Everyone is super nice and you can have tastings of the different flavors until you land on one. Trust me, some flavors hit on different days! The shop is in the famous Monrovia shopping area, which adds to the allure of visiting. Parking is free and sitting and having a cup of ice cream in one of the benches is such a treat. Swing by and chill and enjoy some great ice cream! Cheers!

I usually like the Oreo topping on my soft serve since it gives it a crunch, but it just didn't taste that good after a few bites.
