I used to frequent here. The vibe is tense, and it feels like the staff is treated poorly. Every time I found one hairstylist I liked they would leave. It's a revolving door for hairstylists. This salon is top tier! I take my boys to get their hair cuts here. The staff is SUPER friendly. They consistently give incredible service and quality haircuts! They give a root beer or a beverage to everyone getting a cut, and even accommodated my daughter with a soda and games so she didn't feel left out. Being new to Henderson/Las Vegas, I needed to find a stylist to cut my hair. Upon seeing The Man Cave in my neighborhood, I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did. I went to the website and just selected a random stylist, which happened to be Valencia. Valencia greeted me and sat me down and asked if I would like a beer. I don't drink and had brought a smoothie so I told her I was good. Over the next 45 minutes, Valencia carefully listened to what I wanted, then skillfully made it happen, checking to make sure I was thumbs up in length and style. A solid first cut and a fair price. I knew I would be back again. When it was time again for another cut, I made the appointment easily online and showed up. Valencia again sat me down and the second cut was even better, as she got more familiar and comfortable with me. This time she told me about available services for waxing ears, nose, and eyebrows. I had never had that before so I said sure. Another very good decision. All I can say is if you haven't ever tried it, do yourself a favor and try it. The feeling of being that well groomed was amazing. I knew I would be back again. Today was my third appointment, and the best one yet. This time, Valencia told me about their facial services. I said let's do it. Another excellent decision. I told Valencia I now understand why women love spa days, as my appointments feel like a mini spa visit. My hair is high and tight, my nose and ears are super clean, and my face and neck are well moisturized. I feel like the best version of myself now, and I intend to keep coming back. My review is Two Thumbs up, Five Stars, Top Shelf, however you want to say it. These ladies are professional and talented and dedicated to their clients. A super pleasant environment. This salon deserves ZERO stars. The owner is the most unprofessional person I've had to deal with. My husband received a haircut from this salon and asked for a high skin fade and Jeannie completely butchered his haircut and did not give him what he asked for. He was not given a mirror to check out his haircut and only saw what he truly looked like when he got home. After spending an HOUR receiving this terrible haircut he decided he did not want to waste anymore time at this salon and just simply wanted a refund. He called and spoke to the owner who first said she would refund but then started trying to have him come in and have someone else fix it. My husband kept telling her no, he just wanted a refund and could send her pictures, but then she states maybe he can come in so she can look at it? Again he tells her no please just refund his credit card. After she tells him can she Zelle it would be faster... umm no again please refund the credit card. She was not listening and started being sassy with my husband he handed the phone over to me and I told the owner to just please refund the credit card we just want a refund and to go elsewhere. With her "sassy rude tone" she tells me that's what she's going to do but she's trying to explain to my husband that she can Zelle. Which then I stated again no please just refund the credit card! She then has the audacity to tell me that's I'm being rude to her. Which I never even raised my voice, yelled or cursed! I was firm on just wanting the refund in the way that we paid. She starts getting so defensive and unprofessional and proceeds to tell me that she is not refunding because I'm rude and hung on me! Are you kidding me! This is how an owner of a salon acts! What a complete JOKE. No wonder why you can't keep stylist at your salon! My husband tried calling back and she refused to get back on the phone. Instead of just dealing with an unhappy customer like any professional owner would do she decided she would hide and have her front desk just talk for her. NEVER AGAIN.
