The food was very good and the coffee was the best I have had on Maui as of yet (been here a week as of now and been here several times over the years). There is seating inside or outside depending on what you want. Very nice place overall and some place I would visit each Maui trip.

Since it was Sunday, I decided today was the day. I'm not a big coffee connoisseur because of a health condition I have and caffeine can affect me but I do love coffee (even if it doesn't love me) but I'll usually go with a Tea option or Smoothie. I decided on a simple smoothie so I got the Keiki Smoothie with Banana, Strawberry and Apple Juice. I asked the waitress what sandwich is the most popular and she said the Turkey Pesto Melt and boy did that hit! It really was the BEST sandwich. It was on a crispy, flaky...and might I add...buttery croissant with thick slices of turkey, tomato, creamy pesto aioli and melted provolone! It came with some chips and dill pickle on the side. The only downside was the price-it was about $17 so I'm sure I'll treat myself once in a good while to this. My small smoothie was $8 but refreshing nonetheless. I love the vibes inside with hanging plants and art work throughout. There was someone doing remote work or school in the corner with her sleepy golden retriever next to her, a few locals outside and some visitors inside. The workers are friendly and I saw one clean the outside tables right away after a few parties left. A nice spot to hit up for some nice breakfast, lunch and a coffee with a friend.

I took them to Iao valley which was closed for repairs. Then I planned to stop by here cause their goal was to by coffee and bring it back to the mainland. So why not stop here so they can taste it then go next door to by the beans. Yelp said they open at 8 am. We got there around 8:30. The sign said closed. So disappointed. The gentleman who was working with the dolly looked like the owner in the picture on Yelp. Never said anything to us. While we stood around. The security guard was really nice. The store next door opened at 9. The employee had cracked the door open and I spoke to him to see when they opened since we couldn't get a cup of coffee. He was sweet enough to let us in to buy the coffee beans. I was thankful for let us go it.

Near the airport and beach access, this is a tourist favorite, although a fair amount of locals have been spotted here. I judge a bakery cafe on their croissant. And Momona's is on point. Fluffy inside, crispy shell and buttery goodness. The second test is their espresso. They use a mass produced bean, but the taste was ok. Has room for improvement here, but I doubt they are marketing to coffee snobs given the volume of patrons getting sweets and lunch fare. My wife loves her sweet treats and this is on her must visit list whenever we visit Maui. Happy wife Happy life. Aloha

The space is beautifully decorated inside an old bank, complete with a vintage vault. Since we arrived late, pastry options were limited. The ham and cheese tart (flaky), brownie (dense/decadent), and coconut slice (chewy) were great. The coconut roll, however, lacked flavor (skip it). Croissant breakfast sandwich & mortadella sandwich were good. The main disappointment was the salmon toast. It looked beautiful and was a large portion, but the two extra poached eggs I ordered were completely hard-poached. When I brought this up, the woman behind the counter flippantly told me, "Yes, this is how we make them." Poached eggs should ALWAYS have a runny yolk & I didn't believe her answer for a second. Clearly they made a mistake they did not want to own up to. I was highly disappointed by her attitude, especially since I paid extra for the eggs.

Luxe Latte happened to be right around the corner from our condo so we headed on over. It is a little trailer that is basically permanently situated right outside of Maui Golf in the parking lot. I say permanent because they along with a few other trailers have it all decked out with fencing, roofing, etc. It's very close to the water, so if you sit outside of their trailer and enjoy your drink, you can hear the waves. Like everywhere we went in Maui, customer service was outstanding. People are just happy out here! We had plans to eat later, so this was just a caffeine stop. They have a pretty big menu with lots of drink options. They have coffee, tea, frappes, espresso frappes, hot chocolate, Italian cream sodas and smoothies. All their brews are freshly roasted in Maui. I like a good latte and their signature Luxe Latte looked like the move for me. It had vanilla and raw Maui honey. I got it iced as the sun was shining bright that morning. I love that they present it with a little chocolate coffee bean on top of the drink. It's like a bonus. First sip of the drink and I was in love. You can taste the quality coffee along with the raw honey and vanilla. They definitely use quality ingredients here. If hunger strikes, they do have pastry options which I am not sure if they make on their own or source it from somewhere else. This was one of many coffee stops while we were vacationing in Maui, but it was one of my favorites as well. I would totally come back next time!
