We had a quick dinner here! The pizzas were more personal sizes, but very tasty...and very overpriced. Outside of the price, I would come back here more often! I think this area gets overlooked as many are coming from one side of the ispand to the other, but this is a good mid-way point to grab a bite. Disappointed to say this was a miss all around. Was really looking forward to trying Point Break. Friend tried to add something to slice and instead of explaining they don't allow changes they gave attitude and were rude. I shrugged that off, giving them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they get asked 500 times a day and are tired of telling people?! We ordered the cheesy focaccia, a few slices and the dawn patrol buns for dessert. Focaccia arrived, was pretty bland and sauce was cold, like out of the refrigerator cold. Not sure if this is normal? Then dessert arrived and was delicious. Two large groups arrived and ordered after us. After they received all their food, we checked on the slices. Friend was brushed off and told they're coming. Then the employee yelled to the kitchen to confirm they have the order. Kitchen confirmed they did NOT have order. Slices finally arrived, super greasy and continued attitude. read more

Yay for this place after a long and treacherous ferry ride back from Lanai. Stopped in and walked right up to order. Yummy pizza, pulled pork, sausage, Canadian bacon with super thin chewy crust. So glad we stumbled on this place one night!! I was really craving some pizza, and looked up a few places and this one stood out with the photos and reviews. There's indoor and outdoor seating. You place your order at the counter and they bring the food out to your table. We got the greek salad (yum!) and a half and half pizza - hawaiian + italian sausage which was delicious. Staff are great, prices are reasonable and the pizza portion is huge - can easily be shared between two. I would definitely come back the next time we are visiting Hawaii! read more

Enjoyed a bite after spending the morning at the Maui Ocean Center. Had no expectations and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the pizza was! One pizza is plenty for two people but we wanted to try different ones... so we went big and ordered the Boss Hog and White Caps (for two people ). Both were excellent - loved the crust and the flavorful toppings. Fennel sausage and Kalua pork on the Boss Hog made that the hit... pepperoni and Canadian bacon didn't add much. Love the pizza here. The crust is super thin and the sauce just perfectly balanced. We have gone a few times recently and I think it may be the best on the island. Coming from a former New Yorker, that's a compliment. They have lots of toppings to choose from. Why not five stars? I think the panini is lacking. I got some kind of Italian one that as all bread and very little meat. I was glad my partner ordered pizza so we could share 1/2 of each. The pizza stood out and the panini was lacking. You can see limited views of Maalea harbor from the outside seating. If I'm this in love with the allergy friendly style pizza & homemade Paninis --imagine your REG style pizza They were even patient enough to help with my allergies. they took it very seriously I've had a thyroid disease for the last 10 years now, so believe me when I say this is one of the best gluten-free crusts, homemade fennel sausage, and the fact that they're dairy free cheese is nothing that I've had before. So many Vegan/Vegetarian options! Even if it IS something I've had before, it hits different.. all I know is if you were not told it was gluten-free, bet you wouldn't notice the crust. We sat inside, listening to rock music and staying cool. It was warm outside and windy. It was comfortable inside, and the pizza was outstanding! Wow wow wow. 5 stars in my book. Probably one of my top spots to eat at in Maui. This review is long overdue. Not only is their food incredible their service is too. Thank you to Kendall she was such a sweetheart. She was kind, helpful and really made our experience a great one. Point Break gets really busy they are located near the aquarium marina area. Their pizzas, salads, and panini were so good. We loved it so much we ended up coming back the next day. We couldn't get enough. The first time we came we got their panini, salad and pizza. I really loved the hot honey pepperoni pizza it had a nice kick as well as the right amount of sweetness. Their salads were incredibly fresh and probably one of the best salads I had. My favorite was the arugula with artichokes, goat cheese, radish and some other ingredients. The salad dressing that came with it complimented the salad perfectly. I couldn't get enough!! We also ordered the portabella panini and I'm not a mushroom fan but this panini was so good. The 2nd day we ended up getting the garlic pizza and whoaa was this pizza so good. The fresh roasted garlic gloves, the arugula, the crust. Just melts in your mouth. We had a wonderful dining experience both times. I highly recommend and would come back here in a heartbeat when I come back to Maui. Must visit here. It's casual, great people working here and the best pizza, salads and paninis around. read more

Felt like a little taste of childhood Salad was also fantastic- house made delicious dressing and the small size was very ample. Really fresh ingredients- incredibly impressed!!! (and that is hard to do! Haha) Ordered the pizza well done - they did perfect. Loved the chili oil available at the condiment station ... can't wait to return... YUMMY!! Restaurant seating was really cute, there's a nice big six seater table for families. Real nice wooden tables each one has a Lazy Susan for the pizza in the middle, what a great idea over those precarious U-shaped standard pizza holders that you always feel like are gonna topple over ! FOOD IS AMAZING Seriously delicious. The focaccia with honey and butter will change you. The pizza and paninis are great. But this Kook ruined it for me. I saw some weirdo walking around outside Tante's with a huge water gun, shooting at baby chickens. He walked all the way down to the Pacific Whale Foundation to shoot at more chickens. It was so awkward and made me feel so uncomfortable how he was going out of his way to harass wildlife, let alone the babies. I was disgusted and was wondering where he came from/where he belonged, and then I see him walk into Point Break as one of the workers. Well not 5 minutes later two baby birds make it to their patio. So I guess this didn't work other than killing the vibe for me, and making me question what kind of person enjoys using a water gun on wild baby chicks. :( read more

This has to be one of the top two pizzas I've ever tried. I am so mad that I don't live in Maui and I won't be able to have this pizza every week. This was some of the best pizza I've had in a long time. I ordered the Charlie's angel pizza and it was phenomenal. Everything from the way they cooked the pizza, to the toppings on it made it all come together, being super delicious. The service was super quick too, a large family of around 9 ordered right before my family and we still got our food within 10-15 minutes. Only downside of this place is that they charge extra for ranch. Other than that, this place is definitely worth going to. read more

One of the few restaurants in the Ma'alaea Harbor, but this is a great place to get your pizza and pasta lunch or dinner! The pizzas are 14 inches and might be great for at least 2 people, but for each person that would be too much (luckily they do have take-out boxes if you can't finish it all).
